A very friendly and pleasant hotel in a charming town. I had a medical incident while staying at the hotel, and the staff were wonderful, staying with me, organising the pompiers to get me to hospital, and welcoming me back on my return.
A great stopover during our hike on the GR4. We highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
Very good experience... authentic and family place
Pleasant hotel and decent restaurant, a little disappointed because we thought we could choose the dishes from the menu displayed outside. Service a little fast, starter served immediately at the same time as the aperitif. On the other hand, the pipes in the bathroom are very noisy when the neighbor takes a shower, it makes a lot of noise in the room. Breakfast a little expensive compared to the choice of products offered.

The staff is perfect. The bedding is too. The room and the entire hotel in general are remarkably clean despite the fact that all the interior fittings are dated. The hotel is and has always been well maintained, it shows and it is very pleasant. It's a little trip back in time! We also had a very good dinner there. The dishes are delicious and well served. Again, the service is perfect. Efficient and friendly. The only downside is that there is no way to cool the room other than leaving the window open. However, the hotel is at an intersection of streets that are essential for passing through the village, so the night is short because the traffic gets denser early in the morning. We stayed in a hotel in the Lot that has ceiling fans that are very effective and certainly less expensive than installing air conditioning, more ecological and more pleasant too. Perhaps worth exploring? Hotel des Grottes in Cabrerets if you wanted to see ;) We still recommend this hotel because the price/quality ratio is very favorable. It is very well located in a little-known village, Malzieu-Ville, which is nevertheless worth the detour, in the heart of a remarkable region.

Small, old-fashioned hotel, very clean and well-located in this charming village, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Impeccable welcome and service. Very good evening meal with dishes we don't usually eat often. Comfortable room. A bathroom refresh wouldn't be amiss.
Traces of mold were visible in the corners of the room, and suspicious stains were found on the bathroom carpet. The lack of air conditioning required leaving the window open at night, resulting in significant noise pollution. Furthermore, there was no smoke detector in the room. The decor appeared to date from the 1970s. In the bathtub, which had a very slippery surface, the faucet produced a loud noise, comparable to that of a motor, while providing minimal pressure. Breakfast was minimalist, and an 11-year-old child was charged as an adult. The evening meal was of poor quality, and the dessert, particularly sour, was inedible. The value for money was unfavorable.

Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Food is good considering the price and quality offered. The room as presented on the site does not match the room received. Although clean and good beds, this room is very dated and in need of a complete renovation. Carpeting in the bathroom, bidet over which a table has been placed and therefore unusable, shelf can move 15 degrees up and down and is made of plastic, causing everything to fall off and tap sprays against the wall. Incidentally, the rooms presented on the site are there because we had them on our previous visit. It is advisable to ask for a renovated room when booking. Wifi on the 2nd floor is drama. On the ground floor and 1st floor it works reasonably fast. Nice hotel for an overnight stay while traveling in a very nice historic town that is definitely worth a visit.
