Excellent welcome. The room was quite large (3rd floor), renovated, clean, with a lovely, functional, and very clean bathroom. Breakfast offered a good selection (fried or boiled eggs would have been welcome), and the staff were very pleasant. The small private parking area was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was good for working (but the desk was very small!). The main drawback was the restaurant designated for the overnight stay (a pizzeria), which was of rather poor quality (although the service was also good).

The hotel provided a good experience, both in terms of the room and breakfast. However, the bathroom mirror lighting was quite poor and could be much brighter. The only drawback in the room was the noise of the fluid in the radiator. Fortunately, at setting 3, the radiator was working properly and the noise was minimal. For breakfast, the option of soft-boiled eggs (with an egg cooker) would be a nice addition. Below, in the "Your Stay" section, the word "property" should be replaced with "cleanliness."

Our 6th or 7th stay at the Bains, always in the room with the sauna (mainly because of the extra space; we haven't used the sauna yet). The hotel is a truly "beautiful old building" with a large, creaky staircase covered in red carpet, a modern breakfast room, and a small bar for relaxing. Our room and bathroom were always clean, but the bathroom is a bit dated and could use a little refresh. Exposed pipes are no longer a thing in 2025; a little cladding would suffice. To the lake (to the left) or the "city" (to the right) with its restaurants is a 5-minute walk. Breakfast is always plentiful and offers much more than just a croissant and coffee. During our last stay in October 2025, much of the packaged plastic was finally gone: cheese in chunks instead of plastic. I think the price is around €12 per person. The receptionist had a very good restaurant recommendation (villa loca) for us over the phone, as our original destination was closed and the alternative didn't answer the phone or respond to emails. Since we were enjoying classic Alsatian cuisine the rest of our evenings, the Iberian detour was just the ticket. A perfect stay in an owner-managed hotel; we highly recommend the Hotel des Bains. Please don't expect a one-size-fits-all Accor experience.

Overall, between good and very good. Improvements could be made if possible: The parking lot is a bit narrow, especially with the electric charging spots. Sometimes you can't get out and you're stuck until the one or two electric cars leave.

A very good stay at the Logis Hôtel des Bains. The staff is very welcoming, both at reception, at breakfast and at room service. The free and secure parking is a real plus for parking your car. The room was clean, a good size accompanied by a very nice bathroom with a large shower tray. The point to improve would be to change the bedding. The mattress was quite soft and the back pain was very present in the morning. In addition, it would be interesting to put a small extra fridge in the room to keep 1-2 small bottles of water cool in summer. Regarding breakfast, it lacked a little variety on the savory part but the sweet part was very good :) Even if there are some small areas for improvement, I totally recommend this hotel, especially its location close to the lake and the center, its very kind staff and its comfort :)

Excellent welcome, quiet hotel, easy access, helpful staff, excellent location, clean and functional room. A kettle with coffee, herbal teas and tea in the room would be a nice idea.

It's an older, smaller hotel, but it has a certain charm, with modern, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. Only the bar opening hours could have been a bit longer, perhaps until 11 p.m. would have been nice. And warm egg dishes for breakfast would have been the icing on the cake, given the otherwise delicious breakfast buffet; the baguette and cheese were particularly delicious.

Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist stark frequentiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom See entfernt.

Shutters that don't close and curtains that aren't blackout. There's a bit of an annoying smell of sweat from a waitress at breakfast in the morning and some angry dogs.

La chambre était propre et le petit déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. Très bonne literie et chambre très bien insonorisée.
L’hôtel dispose d’un parking fermé mais également de nombreux stationnement gratuits dans la rue.
Le centre ville est à deux minutes, le lac à cinq! Bref idéalement placé.
Nous étions avec notre petite chienne car les animaux sont admis.

Glad we were able to take our dog with us. Very comfortable room with a pleasant wooden atmosphere. To my preference, the pillows were not firm enough, and despite the heat forcing us to open the window during the night, we slept well. The minimum required to wash our hands and take a shower were also appreciable for this short stay, preventing us from being too busy. Parking not indicated and the number of spaces very limited, however reception informed us that all parking spaces in the city are free. Very good location also for walking to the lake, located 5 minutes away, while being close to the city center. Finally, the possibility of having a drink at the hotel bar allowed us to be close to our room after a good walk.

We are very satisfied with our stay (2 nights). The cleanliness was impeccable, the staff pleasant, the room comfortable… Only one small downside: we were informed upon arrival that the dog could not stay alone in the room.

Situé tout près du centre piétonnier (50m) et au calme. Bel hôtel très propre. Chambre moderne mais assez exiguë, bien équipée et bonne literie.
Salle de bains aussi bien équipée mais aussi exiguë. Literie confortable et bonne occultation. Parking sécurisé gratuit à l'arrière de l'hôtel.
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'ascenseur, on doit donc monter ses bagages au 2e. Cela ne m'empêche pas de revenir : c'est le 2e séjour et je reviendrai volontiers.

I have stayed here before and the hotel is still as good if not better. Staff are all excellent and really understand how to make guests feel welcome. The facilities are good, shower is powerful and hot, the Wifi works well and is fast. The foods at breakfast were excellent, especially the bread and cheeses. The building looks pretty from the outside. Prices have gone up since COVID so it is no longer exceptionally good value for money. But I feel it was worth paying to stay here and I am already planning another vacation which will include staying here again.

The hotel is not equipped with an elevator, which is a shame, otherwise everything is perfect.

Veramente un bel albergo accogliente; ho chiesto un bollitore d'acqua con del caffé solubile in camera, nessun problema. Avevo la camera sulla strada, ma di notte non c'era tanto traffico. Magari in estate potrebbe disturbare. Mi sono sentita molto a mio agio in questa struttura. Inoltre avevo un problema con il mio cellulare e me l'hanno risolto in fretta. Trovo anche l'orario del check out (11.30) molto generoso, almeno si può fare con calma, non come in tanti altri hotel. Quello che non gradisco in Francia sono i locali doccia e toilette separati, ma ogni Nazione le sue abitudini, nessun problema.
