An inviting, cocooning atmosphere
RESTAURANT Not far from Morteau and the Swiss border, this restaurant is an ambassador for good taste, à la française. First for its natural, smart surroundings (made of fine materials, very elegant tables and beautiful flower arrangements), then for the quality of the Chef’s cuisine, who took over and modernised this family business a few years ago. You’ll love the serene, opulent atmosphere and the hospitality (with the chef’s wife in charge) just as much as the elaborate, contemporary and beautifully crafted food. The produce is mainly, but not exclusively, regional. Unusual flavours are combined to afford subtle, tasty experiences like hake in home-grown lemon balm and trumpet courgettes cooked to perfection. The desserts are also well worth a mention, continuing in this creative and aesthetic vein with fresh melon with soft almond calisson sweets.
