Good overnight stay
Hotel well located on our route. We arrived in temperatures of almost 40°C. Very hot. Unfortunately, no air conditioning except for a small fan. The room was a furnace, but it was very nice, large and comfortable. Excellent bedding. Our window overlooked the road to Bourges. Very noisy, all added to the stifling heat. Terrible night. Very good breakfast and the owner bends over backwards to satisfy you. Friendly and the products offered are of very good quality.
Wow... as a chemist I didn't know that a hotel was an experience... a stay would be more appropriate, right? Friendly welcome. Excellent meal in the evening. The only downside is the almost incessant noise of trucks on the national road at night (earplugs recommended).

Overall an old hotel that needs serious updating. The breakfast is very average. I do not recommend this establishment.

Room on the road with too much traffic. Impossible to leave a window open at night despite the heat. WC in the bathroom. The hotel did not seem to be full, we could perhaps have had a room overlooking the back of the hotel. Very disappointing breakfast: undrinkable coffee in the opinion of the 3 adults in our group, dry croissants, dry brioche, cold meats and cheeses not suitable for breakfast (we had the impression that it was what was left of the restaurant). The next day we paid exactly the same price for a 3-star hotel in Bourges with air conditioning, swimming pool and quality and varied breakfast buffet (choice of fresh pastries, cereal bread and classic bread, hard-boiled eggs, ham, slices of cheese, choice of yogurt, cake, brioche, pancakes, etc. etc.). The next day, €50 less in a bed and breakfast in Salbris for an equivalent quality of accommodation and a better breakfast (good coffee, fresh fruit, pastries baked in the morning).

Hotel under renovation; rooms completed, the ground floor would also need renovation.
Very basic comfort and some effort for de oration but pretty bad taste/colors. A lot of noise and commotion in the morning starting at about 6am 🙄
