No room available, so we were offered a charming studio instead. We enjoyed this comfortable accommodation on the ground floor for 2 nights... The price/quality ratio was good. We will definitely be back!
We were accommodated in the residence part. The building is dilapidated. (peeling paint, broken TV, broken shower). It's a room from another era. The price is not at all in line with the hotel part. It doesn't correspond at all to the hotel part.
My room was very nice with a kitchenette. It's a shame that there aren't fridges and microwaves in all the rooms. This would be so useful because there is no longer any restaurant in the evening. And when you travel alone, you don't really want to go out in the evening.
I loved my night at Clos Paillé. The receptionist the night I arrived was lovely and very helpful. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is functional. The shower is a gem; I travel a lot for work and hotels are often just a stopover, but I came out of that shower feeling completely refreshed. The door isn't very well insulated (you can hear people walking in the hallway) and you can hear the neighbors using the water, but after 10pm I didn't hear any noise. The value for money is very reasonable and I would love to come back!

We stayed one night with breakfast. Everything went very well. Quiet hotel, good breakfast.
Very good. However, we were disappointed that the quiet, tree-lined pool wasn't functional. The main pool is perfect, but there were sometimes not enough deckchairs to relax on, and of course there were more people.

Charming establishment with a large swimming pool, aromatic gardens, and ample private parking. Very pleasant, well-equipped room/studio. Remarkable and attentive welcome. Close to the small town center, the thermal baths, and the L'Oréal spa, a stay in La Roche-Posay has been top-notch since Clos Paillé!

Wonderful room with little kitchen, coffee&teamaker, TV, DVD Player, aircondition, swimmingpool, very good breakfast, but no restaurant.
The peaceful setting is much appreciated, even though it's right next to the main square. Indoor lounges, garden furniture, a swimming pool... everything you need to relax during your stay. We really enjoyed this stopover!

Great location, lovely staff, free parking. But my room was quite small, Aircon very noisy...the condensate pump would whirr on for 20secs all through the night which did disturb one's sleep.

This is the third year we've been here and we're still just as satisfied. What a shame the restaurant closed, the chef was really talented!
Too bad the restaurant closed permanently the day before my arrival. The pool was not operational. Otherwise, the room was very spacious and comfortable, well-equipped for a longer stay. Very well located.
Very warm welcome, very pretty and charming interior decoration of the hotel as a whole. Small but very cozy, quiet room. Very decent breakfast. The only problem is the very steep and narrow staircase to access it (it's part of the charm of the old). Very pleasant exterior.

Lovely hotel, living up to the standards of Logis Hotels. We loved the location and the property. Our room smelt very slightly damp but that was probably due to the winter closures. Slightl concern over the lady looking after breakfast as nothing was topped up whilst we were there and we had to go and find someone to get more orange juice. Very minor but thoroughly enjoyable and definitely recommend
Everything is perfect, the bedding, the catering, the reception, the only downside, the room and the bathroom are very small. Impossible to work properly on a bed. Too bad

A lovely overnight stay in a charming setting. I felt very welcome, and in fact the receptionist rang me as I arrived in La Roche-Posay, to ensure that I could find the hotel easily. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, I enjoyed an hour in the garden and the swimming pool before a very good dinner. I would stay here again.

We were looking for accommodation for our Sunday day at the SPA. I had reserved a studio. The studio did not at all correspond to the photo of the studio on Booking when booking. Much smaller, less functional. Hotel under construction. We weren't able to go outside because it was raining. Positive point: breakfast.
In a nice place with lovely garden and pool. We were put off by having to say whether we wanted breakfast for the next 2 days and when we said maybe thus seemed a problem even for a buffet breakfast. The room was quite pretty but was minute- not enough room for luggage.The owner was very nice at our departure time . Just a pity about the fuss about breakfast as it put us off dining in the hotel at all.

A pleasant, quiet and comfortable hotel, with an excellent restaurant and private parking. My main criticism is the total lack of half-bottles of wine suitable for solo travellers staying for one night only (like me). Wine was available by the glass, but only in expensive and tiny (10cl !) quantities.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis à notre arrivée à l'hôtel et avons pu disposer de la chambre avant l'heure indiquée. Nous avons réservé le petit déjeuner en arrivant. il est dommage qu'un enfant de 10 ans paie le même prix que ses parents. D'autre part, nous avons trouvé que le rapport qualité et quantité prix n'était pas à la hauteur, vu le prix élevé du petit déjeuner. Pas assez de diversité des produits, peu de produits locaux. Plus de jus de pomme par ex. Pr le reste, la chambre était propre, spacieuse, les serviettes nombreuses.
