A very pleasant stay at this hotel, with a friendly welcome. The room was pleasant and clean. A beautiful view of the countryside (I enjoyed opening the shutters and watching the sunrise with nature). I was able to enjoy the calm surroundings.
Logis de France should refrain from supplying bathroom products labeled "vegan".... A minority should not have its delusions imposed....
Very pleasant hotel in a charming little village. Friendly welcome, very clean room and comfortable bedding.
We enjoyed the evening meal, the charm of the restaurant and the hotel (old, well renovated). Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. (compatible with the first hour of the Lascaux visit) and the possibility of recharging the electric vehicle. Thank you for accepting small dogs.

Very warm welcome, clean and relaxing room, parking nearby. As for the catering, very good service and helpful staff. To conclude, we recommend this place and we will come back, I hope, with the sun 😉!

Top-notch hotel. The room was top-notch. The heated pool was top-notch. The wellness service with jacuzzi and sauna was very affordable and fantastic. The restaurant was amazing and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

A hotel and restaurant that have nothing to complain about and that we would like to meet everywhere. We feel professionalism and the high-quality services meet expectations. The welcome and interaction are spontaneous and open.
Very good hotel, well deserving of its three stars. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The only small observation, having stayed in the equivalent in Gramat, is the same average quality of the mattress, certainly comfortable but not great. Would this correspond to the obligation to go through a central purchasing department for certain types of products....??? To follow up, we had dinner in the evening at the restaurant on the open-air terrace near the swimming pool. To cut a long story short, we sat down at 7:45 p.m. and left the table at 10:30 p.m. In detail, order an aperitif at 8:00 p.m., arrive at 8:30 p.m., order a menu at 8:20 p.m., starter served at 9:00 p.m., main course served at 10:10 p.m. ... more than an hour of waiting... my desire to enjoy a good product had disappeared during this hour of waiting, telling my wife that the beef might not have been slaughtered yet. Dessert order made but it still took 15 minutes to arrive... the pleasure was gone. Certainly there are staffing problems but certainly also table management problems because it doesn't seem normal to see people arrive well after us, be served well before us and finish 30 minutes before us for an equivalent menu.

Very pleasant stay We appreciated the accommodation, which consisted partly of small village houses renovated with respect for the local architecture and with great taste. Our room overlooked a patio, which was also very well presented. The restaurant was also very good. Another positive point: this hotel accepts pets!

Our recent 2 night stay during rainy weather, exceeded our expectations. We rarely award five stars, but in the case of this hotel, five stars are fully deserved in every way. It was perfect for us and our needs. Our ground floor room with a terrace was spacious, spotless and comfortable . the heating was needed, and presumably air conditioning in the summer. The bathroom is a delight, a kettle was provided for that all important first coffee in the morning! A few steps to the main building, across an attractive square full of the sandstone buildings typical of the area, where a wide ranging and quality breakfast was served beautifully upstairs in a separate area to the restaurant. The evening meals were a spin on the traditional, we enjoyed the full menu on both evenings, no need to go elsewhere. The sauna and steam room were an added treat, obviously at an extra charge but worth it to have exclusive use. Each and every person we met greeted us warmly, and were very professional in their work. Parking was easy, we cant wait to return in the warmer months to try the pool and outside terraces. Strongly recommended by us. Already planning a return visit, thank you to everyone.

An outstanding place to stay and dine. A family owned and perfectly designed place where tradition and modern comfort blend in perfect harmony. The Dordogne area merits more than a quick touch-down. It's here where one should stay! Wonderful.

As every year, the Archambeau Hotel is a very nice place for me to rest and relax. The unique silence of the night and the scents of nature are something very special here. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and offers consistent quality over the years, at moderate prices. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Small tip for improvement: Please replace the mattress in room 201, it was unfortunately saggy.
Overall a good hotel, the only negative is the noise of cutlery and plates when the man is cleaning the breakfast room, it would have been nice to have a quiet breakfast. It would probably be better to do it out of sight of your guests.
Well located and rather pleasant hotel. On the other hand, no friendliness or sense of service. On the verge of rudeness when, following a forgetfulness of a child's item of clothing with a strong emotional value for this child, no return despite the proposal to pay the postage. When you spend 300 euros in 12 hours between dinner, the night and breakfast, a minimum of politeness/professionalism/sense of service is expected. The contact following the forgetfulness spoiled our stay and left us with a very bad image.

overall 5 stars 1 criterion that you forgot, very important for us because we selected on this criterion: accepts dogs. the only small negative point: the church bell which rings for 1 minute at 7 o'clock, the hotel can't do anything about it of course ... but .. By aillerus 99 positive points.

Very good hotel and restaurant Friendly staff
Perfect for a 2 day stay. The pool was located across the road from the hotel so the children had to be accompanied when going to use the pool, however the road was quiet so not an issue.
The one room for improvement would be to have umbrellas by the pool as in the middle of the day there is no shade. Once it gets to 4pm the area around the pool does start to get some shade from the sun.
