A wonderful experience in a magnificent and historic setting! I loved the restaurant, and the meal was truly excellent—everything that lived up to the location!

This former seminary is a delightful surprise. A completely renovated prestige room, utterly captivating in this anachronistic and historically rich setting. The restaurant truly deserves special mention. Excellent value for money. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and very helpful.

Great stay and excellent restaurant

An unusual place (a former seminary) with a history. The room was completely renovated, simple, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The restaurant had a lovely menu. The welcome was very warm.

Hotel undergoing renovations but a very warm welcome, peaceful, no noise, renovated room, comfortable bed… parking and excellent restaurant (don't hesitate to eat there), good breakfast (ham, eggs, cheese, fruit…) Fresh local produce. Don't hesitate!

A delightful surprise on our holiday road trip. A clean and spacious family room, the likes of which are becoming increasingly rare. A real gem in the heart of an equally charming village. Arriving at night was magical, especially with the village illuminated.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Passing through this hotel on our way back from vacation, we were charmed by the beauty and calm of this former seminary. The setting is relaxing and the staff very welcoming. Located at the foot of the village of Saint Flour, you can park your car and easily access the town in a 5-minute walk.

Unusual setting but pleasant stay.

When you arrive you are in taken in by the project. This is something above what you would expect of a hotel. The feel, the history and atmosphere. Things beautifully modernised whilst maintaining the simple grandeur of a seminary. All staff quite charming and food Exceptional. I could go on but this was a great experience!!

Very warm welcome, it's a shame that the bathroom doesn't have a door, it's not practical to use it when someone is sleeping because you have to turn on the light and suddenly you wake everyone up and you lack privacy, the TV is too far from the bed and there are no armchairs, there are 2 chairs but very uncomfortable for watching TV 📺

The hotel was well-located and pleasant. However, our room hadn't been renovated in a long time and was quite outdated, which is surprising since the photos of recently renovated rooms are displayed online. It would be helpful to inform guests of this difference.

Unforgettable stay in this establishment steeped in history. The prestige room is very beautiful, renovated with taste and modernity. The bathroom is magnificent, very large. The breakfast could be improved with freshly baked bread and a little more choice of sweet products (pancakes, cakes, jams, etc.)

We had a suite behind the scaffolding.
Spacious but without even a bottle of water?!
No minibar, no small bottles of water to make coffee or drink.
Staff were offhand.
I choose this hotel because of the library - I am an architect specialised in libraries. The young woman at the desk curtly told me it was impossible to see because it was precious…
Breakfast was ordinary with products found in any Accor F1, where they are fresher. We came for breakfast at 8h30 but a lot of the foods were gone already. Quite an overall disappointing experience. Perhaps staff are summer staff and not trained? Something fell off the scaffolding during the night which woke us and we were afraid to open the windows (it was very hot, without fans) as anyone could climb up the scaffolding. Is it normal that you charge full price when works are going on?

A perfect stay from start to finish! The establishment is impeccable in terms of cleanliness: rooms and common areas are maintained with remarkable care. The welcome is warm, smiling, and professional, which immediately puts you at ease. The restaurant service is attentive and efficient. The quality of the dishes is there: delicious flavors, fresh products, and careful presentation that makes you want to eat again at every meal. A big congratulations to the entire team for this stay which will remain an excellent memory!

It is highly regrettable for a building/monument highlighted by its history and architecture in St Flour, that the green spaces, vegetation, and outdoor plants are so neglected, dilapidated, and not valued (visual sensation of an abandoned establishment), this is in total disagreement with a place which receives the public, which is more a Hotel.

Friendly welcome! We had a room in the comfort range: clean, spacious, good bedding. Good breakfast. The hotel restaurant is also very good. Overall, excellent value for money!

Perfect family suite. Spacious and elegant for 3 or 4 people. A charming hotel at the entrance to the upper town. Ideal location. The restaurant is very good. The large seminar room can be visited with the hotel staff (visit times can be requested at reception). The staff is kind, friendly, available, accommodating, and offers good advice.

Atypical and very pleasant hotel, with a very friendly welcome and great availability of the staff. Very quiet place, with a very decent breakfast for the price. We took the comfort rooms (for 2 nights), which if the decoration is very simple, are quite comfortable with a very beautiful view (moreover they are very spacious). The building which has kept all its constructive origins (woodwork, beautiful stone staircase...) is full of history, with interesting architecture and its chapel that can be visited. So do not hesitate, this hotel is worth a stay. We did not have dinner at the hotel.

Very warm welcome, attentive and caring staff. I just find it a shame that you can't book standard rooms online. Only the prestige rooms (more expensive) are available for online booking.

A rare find in a historic building refurbished to a very high standard with friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Fantastic location with visible heritage, ample parking but don't be put off by the fixed menu as the food is excellent and affordable.

The room was certainly spacious and had a magnificent view, but it felt more like a hospital room! Otherwise, the dinner and breakfast were good, with very friendly staff 🙂

An exceptional place that exudes a century-old history, a high-quality renovation and a simple and friendly welcome.

Restaurant closed, the room is adequate but the rest is unwelcoming. Elevator out of order. No one to greet you at breakfast. The advertised Wi-Fi connection doesn't work.

The prestige rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is perfect. Very good value for money.

Disappointed because the rooms were quite old and didn't match the photos.
