Upon arrival at 9 p.m., there was no one at the reception desk, only the night watchman. There was also no way to get a drink at the bar. The bed in one of the rooms was infested with some kind of bug (beetles), and the night watchman didn't offer us another room. At least 30 bugs, very dirty. Even when we opened the window, more bugs fell in. The night watchman could only provide us with a fresh sheet and a dustpan and brush, and we had to clean them up ourselves. We didn't get a new triple room on a different floor until the next morning. The hotel is also in need of renovation. The staff were very friendly and helpful afterward.
The rooms could use an update in terms of decor and furnishings, although the bedding is good. The bathroom could also use a facelift. The restaurant is excellent. Very good, mostly local, ingredients, superbly prepared. A wonderful discovery. Kudos to the chef.
The bathroom is outdated and needs to be redone, the bedroom walls are dusty, the bay window is full of stains, and the terrace needs cleaning as there is broken glass on the table.

A great infrastructure with golf, a pool, and a hotel, but the overall attention to detail is lacking. When grass grows on the terrace and minor damage becomes a patchwork, sooner or later, things aren't going well.

When you book a hotel with a restaurant, I think you should be able to eat there, especially since you are at the end of the world. I don't think one more person would have changed anything. You have to warn the customer before their arrival.
Lage, Ruhe great. Die Betten, Dusche war sehr gut, Zimmer-Mobilar, Türen etc würden eine Renovierung gut tun.
The hotel could use some updating, but the room was clean, the shower was great, and the price/quality ratio for half-board was good. The golf course has some nice holes, though the semi-rough was too rough, which resulted in frequent ball losses. The greens were perfect.

Average welcome, we asked for help to change defective light bulbs, we're still waiting! The room decor was very cold, just like the reception. You probably have to play golf to be well received!! Very ordinary meal: steak and fries!

The hotel in general needs a good refresh, both inside and out.
We were surprised and bothered by outside noise like a large fan (heat pump?) which spoils the relaxing atmosphere of the site, including from the pool and the room located to the north. The hotel and the restaurant deserve a little refresh. Otherwise the site and the golf course are of quality, as well as the catering and above all the staff are very attentive, friendly and pleasant.

A little disappointed overall, it's good but not so good: ashtrays not empty, windows not cleaned properly, terrace tiles loose, dead flower in the corridors. On the other hand, good bedding, spacious room, relaxing setting, decent staff.
The setting is idyllic, the welcome is warm, and the staff does everything they can to make our stay enjoyable. However, it would be desirable to renovate the hotel and the rooms because the price is not up to par today.
Constructive opinion: When you are allocated a room with a bathtub in the bathroom, it would be advisable to have a shower screen installed to avoid a "flood" at the foot of the bathtub in question every morning. Toilets in the bathroom have unfortunately become commonplace in many hotels, including 4-star ones. Apart from that, everything is OK, good quality food, welcoming staff. Last thing, but you can't know it when it's the first time: the rooms located on the golf course force us to wake up much too early (7:00/30) because of the machines that maintain the greens.
Regarding the hotel: very good BUT regarding the food and service there is a real problem: - for the evening meal, the dining room staff is really not trained or supervised, which made us wait more than an hour before being served in a "go as I push you" way. Furthermore, the quality of the dishes (limited) was not at all up to standard. - for breakfast it is worse: everything is arranged haphazardly, when we ask where we can find cutlery we are told to look in the drawers, when the trays are empty we have to catch someone on duty to do something, etc etc, in short it is anarchy. We have stayed twice previously at Val de Sorne (we are golfers) with great pleasure on all levels but not this time and we are really wondering if we will come back.
The sun protection on the terrace needs renovation, several parasols were torn, it looks a bit poor
Some renovation work would be appreciated, especially in the dining room (carpet and walls), but the services are generally of good quality. The staff is generally quite helpful and very friendly.
Hello, In room 3, the FRANCE 2 channel does not have a stable image, the water was not hot in the shower on Sunday morning and the privilege rooms would deserve a refrigerator, silent, it must be found! Otherwise the staff is perfect, as is the restaurant and breakfast. The orange juice is excellent. Only one person for departure on Sunday morning, and a wait caused by a bug on the payment of the customer in front.
Enjoy your stay in a green setting, surrounded by nature. Please note: there is one important point to check regarding the cleaning of common areas.
There's some improvement potential in the restaurant to quicker serve the guests and clean up the tables. A water tap directly at the golf court would reduce workload for the staff.
Hotel which is very aging and does not benefit from a maintenance program. We came in August 24 and no improvement this year while there are many things to renovate (in particular the swimming pool whose edges are broken and the pool tiles are very damaged with many missing tiles, the shower changing room unworthy of a 3 star hotel ....). Insufficient number of deckchairs and poor quality or even broken ...). The rooms need to be renovated as well as the air conditioning which is noisy. Breakfast not up to standard with poor quality pastries, fruit salad that only has the name of apples in the middle of August ..... value for money absolutely not there, not enough dishes either. In view of this and discussions with customers not satisfied with the catering we abstained. In short a basic room without breakfast at 117 euros just not in relation to the price. The only positive point is the very young staff who are super helpful, nothing to say. It seems that my comments are common because when I left the person at reception confirmed it. In conclusion, it is absolutely not worth a 3 star with a price to match. Pay yes, but you have to pay for what you pay and that is very far from it. Finally, the wifi is catastrophic.
Magnificent golf course, there are no water points to refill water bottles (especially in the heat of August). Friendly staff but understaffed and therefore a little overwhelmed. Pleasant rooms, a small fridge would be a plus. The hotel could do with some minor refurbishment work but remains pleasant.
We came with friends for a golf getaway. Very good stay. Just regret the golf course which is very dry and not very pleasant to play (stay mid-August 2025)
More than interesting in terms of value for money

Passing through for a weekend without being a golfer, this hotel offers a magnificent setting. The staff is great: welcome, smiles, advice... The room is clean, spacious and well located with a private terrace. A large outdoor pool is pleasant if the weather permits. The restaurant with local dishes is great. Refined, well-recommended and prepared dishes are always served by top-notch staff. A pleasant place that I highly recommend for a short trip to the Jura. This hotel deserves to be upgraded to a 4* with safes and mini-bars in the rooms.
The toilet seat was broken (in two parts). The service ended too early, we would have gladly enjoyed the terrace longer. It's a shame they didn't serve us again after 10:30 p.m. The golf course is interesting from a golf perspective, but poorly maintained and not watered. It lacks grass and the ground is concrete. The course fees should probably be reviewed accordingly. There is also no water point to fill up your water bottles.
The place is very pretty, quiet. No TV (outlet faulty in the room) room 202. Too bad for my grandson. No more shampoo soap either.

Average rooms - The quality of the food is down compared to 2024.. On the other hand, the staff is top notch. The course nothing to say - lack of deckchairs around the pool....France is becoming expensive - I just went to the tikida palace in AGADIR 5 stars I paid all inclusive with the luxair flight and golf 200 euros more....
Beautiful and very peaceful setting. Beautiful golf course even for non-players. The establishment has a large heated swimming pool, with plenty of deckchairs. However, there is a small downside regarding this area, as there is a lack of maintenance, broken deckchairs, stretched and uncomfortable canvases and everything is soiled by bird droppings, which is a shame. As well as the broken and sharp pool edges. Some work is needed. The establishment remains pleasant but aging. Not sure, however, that it will keep its 3 stars without some improvements. As for the staff, nothing to complain about, all very professional.
Overall, the equipment is outdated. Cleanliness needs to be improved. Disappointing value for money. Photos on the website do not reflect reality, and therefore do not match expectations.

You have a very beautiful hotel/golf complex, however we found an aging hotel, there is a real urgency to renovate the whole thing, namely: rooms, bathrooms and restaurant. Your golf course is magnificent.
The hotel is very well located, in the countryside and equipped with a golf course. Good food and friendly staff. But apart from that, you can tell that the hotel is not very well maintained; the umbrellas on the terrace are torn, and the interior of the building looks dated. Our room was large and clean, but it was sad and cold. In short, very disappointing for a 3-star hotel.

First of all, I had the unpleasant surprise when I arrived in the room to discover that the previous person had smoked. The smell of cold tobacco was very strong and very unpleasant. To my amazement, I didn't see any markings stipulating that smoking was prohibited in the rooms, so much so that I even wondered if there were still smoking rooms. The toilet flush leaked like a basket, right next to the label: here we conserve water ... lol. I reported it when I left. The hotel is very well located, quiet and comfortable but could do with a good renovation.
The rooms need to be renovated. There is an infestation of flies on the breakfast buffet items. This needs to be remedied quickly for hygiene reasons.
We've already stayed at this hotel several times and will definitely be back. The room, half-board, and golf package is really great. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The food is very good and offers excellent value for money. The hotel could use some improvement; the men's locker rooms could do with a serious refresh, as could the restaurant's wallpaper. Check the bill at the end of your stay; double billing is easy to happen. Overall, however, we are very satisfied.

Pro AM it's true but perfect despite the storms
Having been a regular at this hotel for many years for golfing holidays, we have observed a regular decline in the services, particularly in terms of catering. The meals were frankly bad, the kindness of the young waiters could not compensate for the quality of the menus. The same goes for breakfast. Too bad!!! because we love playing on this magnificent golf course.
Three days in a haven of peace just as we like them! Very friendly young staff, and invested despite the start of the summer team. Very beautiful golf course, very well maintained and technical. The reception manages the 9T departures well due to the heatwave.

Pleasant stay in the greenery
Short golfing stay of one night, 1 dinner, 2 green fees. The hotel is very well located, the golf course is only a few dozen meters away. It has a very large swimming pool. The rooms are very comfortable and the management gave us an upgrade without us asking!! The operation of the television needs to be reviewed (we didn't come to watch TV but oh well..) Very comfortable 180 bedding and room with adjustable air conditioning. The food is very good but could do with some attention, especially during the aperitif served without accompaniments and slightly more elaborate desserts. Overall a relaxing and sporty place to recommend with very professional staff.

Ce séjour est catastrophique. Nous avons été accueillis tout d'abord par une nuée de mouches, tant dans l'hôtel que dans notre chambre. Puis nous avons découvert une chambre bien loin des standards 3*, avec une décoration plus proche du rafistolage que du professionnalisme, des coulures de peintures aux tâches sur les meubles, des portes vitrés dégoutantes, avec des jointures qui coulent, des caches interrupteurs manquants ou cassés, des blocs de bois vissés sur les mansardes pas aux bons calibrages, une salle de bain grand n'importe quoi avec du carrelage brisé, une baignoire sans possibilité de vider l'eau de la douche ou du bain avec un troue béant et disgracieux à la place du vide trop plein, un trou dans la mansarde, une climatisation mal réglée qui fait un bruit de relance toute les 10 minutes, même en mode pause, et lorsqu'elle fonctionne un bruit infernal d'eau ou je ne sais quoi. Bref nuit blanche assurée. Absolument scandaleux au vu du prix exorbitant de la chambre. Le petit déjeuné catastrophique pas d'assiettes, pas de plateau, complètement dévalisé et laissé à l'abandon, une honte au vu des prétentions de qualités vantés par Logis France. Il est claire que nous allons prétendre à un dédommagement pour ce séjour catastrophique. Dommage que je puisse pas vous laisser les photos que j'ai prises

Very good hotel although a little old, good room but very noisy air conditioning, makes a dull noise at regular intervals, very disturbing to sleep. The "standard" breakfast, all prepared by very average machines. Very good food for dinner but one inconsistency however: there is an excellent comté cheese at breakfast but no cheeses on the menu for lunch and dinner... Magnificent setting on the other hand, very quiet and above all a really excellent point: the staff "bends over backwards" to respond to all requests, the hostesses at reception are charming and really kind, excellent customer service

We have been coming here for over 20 years with my wife and now with friends (who have become fans of this establishment, the course always well prepared and a hotel and restaurant service corresponding to our expectations and never disappointed. PS: What a beautiful panorama during the course.

Golfing stay with dinner and a night at the hotel. Everything went well, BUT our impression collapsed at the end of the stay. After our round of golf under a blazing sun, we ordered drinks and sat down in the shade on the terrace because all the tables in the shade of the garden area were occupied. There were two of us, we just wanted to cool off for a quarter of an hour and it was 5 p.m. The barmaid refused to serve us there on the pretext that this terrace was intended for the 7 p.m. dinner. She forced us to take a table in full sun on the garden area, pulling a parasol over the scorching seats located in full sun. Faced with her stubbornness, we left for other, more welcoming climes.
We enjoyed the experience for an overnight stay but the hotel is in need of updating as it looks a bit tired especially the room. Staff were very good. The site is a little isolated and not easy to get to from the south.

Dîner : expérience faite : si trop d'attente pour le plat : oubli du service et donc assiette froide, viande tiède et sauce figée.
Prix repas : plus cher et largement moins bon que La Comédie qui eux, savent déboucher une bouteille de vin.
Golf : évitez les tondeuses automatiques et les petits tas d'herbe mouillée qu'elles déposent ! Peu de personnel pour diminuer les coûts !
Un conseil pour les 18 trous : réservez également l'heure de départ du 10ème !

We spent 2 nights on site with half board. Room with a view of the terrace and arrival of hole n°18. Very good restaurant, perfectly cooked fish and meat, great starter and dessert. Buffet breakfasts with excellent cheese. Pleasant, quiet place where you feel at ease. Attentive staff.
Our entire small group of 11 people was more than satisfied with our two days at the Val de Sorne golf course. The reception and restaurant staff were lovely, helpful, and attentive. The course is in excellent condition with fabulous views (especially at hole 14). The rooms are bright and comfortable. The dinner was excellent. I highly recommend it!!

Facilities are a bit dated/old, but it's still fine and comfortable, but could be improved. Wifi was not good at all. Food and beverage service was excellent. However, they could add more options for breakfast, as it's not ample if you are playing 18 holes of golf. The golf course is beautiful and challenging, although greens need a bit of improvement on maintenance.

Very warm welcome and very good service from the two young people at reception who quickly found me an alternative room solution following a weak connection in the first one offered, despite the hotel being almost full.
Beautiful environment, only disappointment is the noise made by our upstairs neighbors in the middle of the night: maybe it's a shame to have customers on top of each other when there are only a few of them?
Overall very average! No towels in the room the first night... breakfast with variable geometry (one day yogurt the next day no, same for honey and other things...) little choice... bed not made the second night... supposedly you have to ask for it 🧐 not informed as arrived late and reception closed.
Overall experience was great! Hopefully we can visit someday again!

My pied-à-terre near Lons-le-Saunier is the best value for money. Plus, the staff is pleasant, helpful, and professional. The food is excellent, which doesn't hurt when you're staying for a night. I highly recommend it.

A few approximations and oversights during the service in the dining room in the evening, but nothing dramatic, it is true that there were a lot of people the evening we were staying.
We arrived around 9 p.m. On our way we called to let them know what time we would be arriving and to find out if we could eat there, to which the answer was no straight away because the restaurant was full without trying to find out from the kitchens... We asked to change rooms... In fact, a sock from the previous customer was still there... and the room was not heated.... Breakfast is not worthy of a three star... Aging hotel

We feel the difficulties in finding motivated, warm and happy staff in the catering industry. This does not call into question the services we have received, but the difference, as everywhere, is now quite noticeable.
Overall very satisfied; - greater transparency on the half-board prices would have been desired (when there are two people) ... at the time of invoicing, it hurts a little ... the problem being more due to the lack of information in the display (example: elevator) than in the price strictly speaking if it had been better announced at the base ... and, therefore, I make my "mea culpa" on my lack of information requested at the base - positive notion and thank you for the change of room and upgrade following problems with pronounced sewer odors - a particularly positive notion on the quality of the service of the staff, attentive, helpful and patient - an acceptable quality of room considering, probably, a construction of the "70s-80s ???" but this remains entirely acceptable - a breakfast which could, perhaps, present more products? (from the region) - as a professional in quality and food safety, I would like to point out, on a strictly personal basis, of course, the risk of placing glasses on the terrace exposed to numerous potential bird droppings (it would be up to each customer, of course, to report a problem at this level....) I was also surprised by the number of customers taking pastries (or other available foods!) by hand when the equipment is perfectly available...there is therefore still a lot of work to be done at this level and it goes far beyond the organization of the hotel) Best regards PM

For this second stay at the Moulin du Val de Sorne, we were a little disappointed to be accommodated in a room with a skylight ... The previous time we had a window. More pleasant. Otherwise, perfect bedding, top clean, impeccable service. Staff very attentive at reception as in the restaurant. Superb golf course. The half-board menus would benefit from being more varied: same menu for the week ... it makes you want to go to lunch elsewhere.

We found that it was a little expensive because unlimited golf is good but we only did one per day. we paid 1800 euros for 2 for 4 nights 3 golf courses and 4 dinners and 4 breakfasts plus 105 euros for carts a little expensive for retreats otherwise very happy with our stay
Very pleasant hotel backed by a very well maintained golf course. We enjoyed our family room (with our little daughter). We came 12 or 13 years ago and saw clear improvements. As nothing is ever perfect we deplored a very difficult and random internet connection. And the presence of a lot of flies both in the bar and in the restaurant.

Hotel located in a calm and natural setting. Superb swimming pool! Warm, sloping, calm. Clean room and bathroom, but mold in the bathroom. Blinds stuck at the bottom, a shame when you appreciate the view and the light! The room did not quite match the image offered on the site, and what I expected in relation to the price. So I was a little disappointed with my expectations, but overall we had a good stay despite everything!
We mainly chose this establishment for its magnificent and very well maintained golf course, showcasing a wide variety of tree species in all their splendor. However, improvements are needed regarding the hotel service offered by the catering staff. It is essential to teach them good trade practices: tables should not be set and cleared as at home, it is unacceptable to take glasses with fingers inside, and plates should not be served with a bottle of wine and two extra glasses in his hands, let alone with the bottle lying under the plate. The absence of adequate knives for slicing meat and of salt and pepper on the tables! In addition, it is regrettable not to have a limited menu for a light meal in the afternoon. For breakfast, the buffet looked sad: disorganized, half empty, with every second coffee machine working and little choice. People with food intolerances (lactose-free, gluten-free, etc.) are not taken into account. In the bathroom, the wood is completely moldy from the shower water, and traces of mold are visible around the bathtub. It also lacks hooks for hanging clothes. The only hook present is in the bathroom above the toilet paper, making it unusable to hang anything on. These points are essential for the proper functioning of a hotel service at this level.

It seems that the priority of golf is omnipresent and not that of hotel services, certainly correct but not perfect (privilege room for 5 days): no presentation of the room by reception, no assistance with luggage, and minimum equipment. The privilege room is large, the bathroom is also large but obsolete. The hotel part needs to be renovated. The catering is very good with a high price level. The staff is of a good standard and very pleasant. The stay remains a good time.

We will definitely not book the hotel again. We booked the hotel because it is part of the golf course. Breakfast is the most important thing for us as athletes and that is unreasonable in this hotel. If I want to have breakfast in a supermarket canteen, I go straight there. The fact that I have to set the table myself in a hotel is bordering on impudence. It's not like it's free. We also didn't like the fact that you have to play "housekeeper" and hand in a list at reception for toilet paper, soap, Kleenex and towels so that the room can be stocked and cleaned. You would expect that in a cheap youth hostel.

Stay for the organization of training Lots of equipment to install Elevator access then 2x 2 steps to access the meeting room. While I made at least 10 return trips to carry equipment, no member of the staff offered to help even though they were mostly on Friday evening chatting at the bar... It's a lack of good manners... Quality Restaurant and perfect service, nothing to say. Room with dated decoration and toilet which makes an atrocious noise.
