Very warm welcome, pretty building, large room but maintenance problem (no more soap in the shower or in the sink). Tasty dinner and spectacular flambé at the table but little choice and relatively expensive. The quality/price ratio is not optimal but we were well received by the gera6bte who was attentive

Super surprise in my discovery of this HIGH-END establishment. It’s a real NUGGET. Staff and boss attentive to customer needs. Very outgoing. A pure marvel with a comfortable and very specious room with personalized decor by theme. Evening stopover defying all competition with a meal worthy of a star, with fresh, homemade products. Same for breakfast. Go there with your eyes closed. As soon as I have the opportunity to return to Saintes as part of my business trips, I plan to return there.

Welcome and welcoming staff. However, access to the "Mediterranean" room is via a very steep miller's staircase and not at all suitable for a family with children and suitcases (miller's ladder)... Missing a door to the bathroom to have a minimum of privacy.

Unusual, very nice, even friendly welcome, very large room (a little difficult to access for us 77/81 people, but that adds to the charm of the whole), with very beautiful furniture and excellent bedding. Delicate and excellent evening meal, very good breakfast (with homemade yogurt). Thank you to our host for the quality of the conversation this morning, and for everything to his wife, whose naturalness and smile accompanied our entire, all too short stay! Really, a good time and a great discovery!

Disappointing in terms of ranking. The reception is very good and the staff is perfectly attentive. However, the room is cold and not warm at all. The food is good but the dining room is grim and cold. The water in the shower is lukewarm and the smell of fuel oil limits..
A very cool temperature in the room with an auxiliary radiator to heat (bathroom and bedroom)! Warm water in the bathroom... The quality of this hotel does not correspond to an elegant hotel!

Top for a stopover. The dish full of flavors
The hotel is an old farm house that needs a lot of money spending on it. Lovely people and good food but expensive for what it is. Very quiet, felt like we were the only people staying there. No bar. Everything felt a little damp. However, I am comparing prices/value for money to Spain.
