Heater was not working, neither in the room nor in the dining room. Dinner was not good at all.
I totally recommend this hotel. I paid 155 euros for a stopover evening. In fact, I was alone in the hotel and the meal served called "royal dinner" had only the name: soup and mashed duck breast. Nothing fresh at breakfast. Last but not least, I have the very unpleasant surprise of being debited an additional 40 euros WITHOUT MY CONSENT and without my knowledge for an alleged degradation of the remote control which I nevertheless hand-delivered to a hotel employee. Following my complaint, I was promised to be reimbursed but this promise was never honored. I invite you to go your way if you do not want to be a victim of the same adventure!
Very nice place, old period building which has retained all its character. Warm welcome at the reception and at the hotel, where we ate very well. The rooms are quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom modern. Everything is very clean. For the chilly, in winter some rooms are colder, but with a building in its almost original state, that's part of the charm.
Very nice establishment. Especially the restaurant server very helpful and professional.
Positive points: the very pleasant setting, the bedding and the cleanliness of the room and beautiful bathroom. Negative points: no heating in the room (request for auxiliary heating) very badly soundproofed. Unobtrusive staff. Parking and path to the hotel without lighting. No heating in the breakfast room. A more explanatory welcome prior to arrival about where to go and how to get in would be really helpful. Lovely dinner. Top quality. Friendly hosting. Breakfast nice but not really worth €14 each.

Excellent meal, inventive and very neat cuisine. Good comfort of the rooms, only one weak point: the cleaning, but we keep a very good memory of our passage.
The staff is very patient when we had a late checkin, everything was wonderful at the hotel, great view, great amenities, warm welcome and services.
We ask that the door of the hotel be kept open on arrival, we were forced to continue and unload in a parking lot that was difficult to access (whose doors were also closed initially) and from where it was impossible for my wife with reduced mobility to reach the hotel
Très bel endroit. Ce n'est pas un hôtel au standard internationaux mais une authentique maison du XIX siècle. C'est une des meilleurs adresse de la région dont on estime sont attrait.

We booked a superior room. This was located next to reception with an entrance off the hotel entrance hall. The room had a large bay window as described but the description failed to say that the window was next to the hotel entrance and gate. This allowed everyone to look into the room entering the hotel. There was no privacy at all. The only way to achieve privacy was to close a steel shutter excluding all natural light

View the hotel's answerHet is een prachtig hotel, heerlijke tuin, heel veel potentie, er zit echter ook nog werk in. Zwembad was leeg toen wij er waren, waterdruk op de kamers erg laag. Plafond beschadigd. Veel lampen op de kamer deden het niet. Gastvrouw was heel erg vriendelijk, prettig ontvangst en ook gedurende het verblijf zeer behulpzaam. Goed ontbijt.
Un petit voyage hors du temps qui fait du bien, dans un cadre très agréable !
