Very nice quiet place on the banks of the Marne in a magnificent room. A downside however at the level of the access road to the very uneven parking lot and the non-existent lighting of this parking lot. On the other hand, we planned not to go out for dinner and to have it at the castle except that the chef had taken his leave.
Very warm welcome and pleasant setting, only point to improve, the value for money for the stopover evenings regarding the evening meal. Very good but rather light on the quantity and a choice between "starter main course or main course dessert". The wine is excellent but the price of the glass is exorbitant.
Perfect Stay and very hospitable staff. Dietary-related adjustments to the excellent menu were made possible. Thanks again

Very beautiful residence on the banks of the Marne. The access road to the hotel is really very faulty. And the night access from the parking lot to the entrance is plunged into darkness. The breakfast buffet is really very limited, but maybe because there were only 6 of us in the hotel. The room is very large, the bedding very comfortable and the bathroom magnificent. Everything is impeccable and we had a very good night there.
Superb place on the banks of the Marne. Perfect for a timeless getaway. Magnificent garden. The Château is old but very well renovated, even if the sound insulation is not yet the best.
We had requested a specific room and dinner. There was no answer to our questions. However, upon arrival we were assigned another room (despite the limited occupancy) and the bar and restaurant turned out to be closed!!!
Magnificent place, wooded, calm. Superb breakfast in or facing the garden. Superb room. But strange staff, with this feeling of not being expected, little or no prior indication on the parking by access via a bumpy path (perfect for the gimbals of our vehicles!), parking in total darkness when we return at 11 p.m., and goes up through the garden with stairs to climb in the dark!!! And ask us at 10:15 a.m. if we can leave the room even though we are alone in the hotel! A stay full of contrasts but a unique place!
We thought this was a hotel, but we arrived to a shut up place where we had to hunt for someone to let us in. When we found someone they were still slow to let us in. We asked if we could park nearer the house where there were other cars as are car was packed to the brim. We were flatly refused despite there being plenty of room. In the room itself the radiator wasn’t working, only the bathroom one. We were short of a light bulb and there was a broken mirror. We had to take a bulb from the corridor as we again couldn’t find anyone to help us.
The only downside is the quality/price ratio of the breakfast (no “hot” offered, only one drink, etc.)
A small hotel full of charm, in a neat green setting, even in winter. And what's more, a completely recommendable table.
Very warm welcome, excellent, fine and refined gourmet cuisine
I was a lady there completely by chance as I had a Logis Hôtels account. Cold and rainy weekend but the performance was very good. Very charming. The restaurant with impeccable service seems well-known in the area and it was full in the morning for one of the two evenings (nothing serious: the restaurants of Château Thierry a few kilometers away are there) Spacious and well heated room but common areas a little cold in winter I don't give it 5/5 as I only give it if it's really exceptional but overall it was very good. That's it, nothing more... Eric
Chateau Marjolaine is a beautiful spot. It really should have a 4 Star rating.
The furniture is the old, elegant French furnishings. Being by the river is lovely for morning runs and
evening walks.
The dinner was excellent and beautifully presented.
A very beautiful place, very comfortable. The swimming pool is heated and open but lacks a little attention in the fall. The meals are of very high quality and the service is very attentive.
Parking not indicated, you have to go back from the parking lot with the suitcase. Fairly dated room, cramped shower, However, the dinner was quite good

We were the only guests, the room was a downgrade from what we ordered with a broken mirror fixed with gaffatape. Chaircover was broken. We were not informed about the closed restaurant until a few hours
before our arrival. Were dissapointing experience compaired to the Logis de France standard. We Can not recommend the place at all☹️☹️☹️
A lovely chateau with a little faded attraction. The food in the restaurant is exceptional. Unfortunately the bad weather prevented us from enjoying much of the lovely garden

Impressive chateau hotel, a few minor criticisms- no spoons for tea and coffee, some litter from a previous guest. The restaurant was however excellent and faultless. Faded glory and overall very comfortable and enjoyable.
The patron expects the car to be unloaded in the distant parking lot, although there is plenty of space in the yard in front of the hotel. You should lug your suitcases up an old stone staircase and through the park!! The wifi access is nicely framed in the room, but it is not correct. Access only works with the help of another person. The Patron is incompetent and harsh. At breakfast you have to ask for coffee and another baguette and the service is condescending. Desagéable rude unwilling

Heater was not working, neither in the room nor in the dining room. Dinner was not good at all.
I totally recommend this hotel. I paid 155 euros for a stopover evening. In fact, I was alone in the hotel and the meal served called "royal dinner" had only the name: soup and mashed duck breast. Nothing fresh at breakfast. Last but not least, I have the very unpleasant surprise of being debited an additional 40 euros WITHOUT MY CONSENT and without my knowledge for an alleged degradation of the remote control which I nevertheless hand-delivered to a hotel employee. Following my complaint, I was promised to be reimbursed but this promise was never honored. I invite you to go your way if you do not want to be a victim of the same adventure!
Very nice place, old period building which has retained all its character. Warm welcome at the reception and at the hotel, where we ate very well. The rooms are quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom modern. Everything is very clean. For the chilly, in winter some rooms are colder, but with a building in its almost original state, that's part of the charm.
Very nice establishment. Especially the restaurant server very helpful and professional.
