Very warm welcome, the hosts gave us ideas for hikes. We eat very well in the evening and the breakfast is great. On the other hand, we were on the departmental side and it is very noisy. Damage.

The staff is super helpful and professional, the food in the restaurant is exceptional and the setting of the room is very authentic and warm, but the rooms are very poorly insulated and a little dated in terms of decoration and equipment.

In the process of moving to the neighboring village, we were very tired. We found at the inn the comfort of the room, the attentiveness of the staff, and the copious and delicious local dishes. Friendliness, friendliness, simplicity, everything we needed.

Hostel worth the detour!! A restaurant serving local, homemade, excellent cuisine!!! Adorable, affordable hosts, who were able to give us good advice for hiking because we didn't know the region. Standard room, with the comfort you need for 1 night. I recommend!!

An auberge is not a grand hotel. If you accept that, you will not find more beautiful accommodation, or friendlier, more natural, more welcoming hosts. The fire burns in the fireplace, the truffles come to the table with a hot crust, the wine is honest and good. There is no hairdryer in the room? So what, just ask for one. Problem solved. For us, the Auberge de Manoir was one of the "highlights" on our bike tour from Nancy to Bordeaux.

Charming stopover in this inn nestled all by itself at the Moreno pass, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, excellent typical meal, quiet room, environment conducive to a walk in the woods, we enjoyed it.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, the bosses and employees are all incredibly kind. It felt like home! And the inn has immense charm. Delicious cuisine worthy of a large table. Nothing to say in terms of quality/price. Thank you again a thousand times! Lisa & Julien

Nothing to report

No check in until 6pm. No facilities whatsoever until 6pm. Couldn’t even use the toilet.
When we did check in we had to eat at 7pm because the staff wanted to watch the France All blacks rugby game.
When we did eat the food wasn’t up to standard. The ingredients were good but badly cooked.
My wife’s trout dish was unseasoned and inedible. We gave it to the dog.
The veal main course was badly cooked (as if the real chef wasn’t present). My wife’s was over cooked and half of mine was raw.
It seems like the chef was watching the rugby rather than looking after their customers or a sous-chef had been left in charge.
We stayed at this location because of its gourmand rating, we were very disappointed and would not stay here again.


The next night we stuck to dishes that didn’t need cooking, as we didn’t want to risk further disappointment.

very warm welcome, competent staff, convenient location for exploring the Puy de Dôme area. The catering is very good: products, presentation, cuisine. kudos to the cook.
