We appreciated that the staff spoke English or found someone that did. The only problem we had was that the bed in the bedroom was short so it was a bit uncomfortable. The location was great and we had two fabulous ...

We appreciated that the staff spoke English or found someone that did. The only problem we had was that the bed in the bedroom was short so it was a bit uncomfortable. The location was great and we had two fabulous dinners in the restaurant on site. Since it is in a small town, I’d suggest that light food or snacks be available for purchase. The dining room didn’t open until 7:30 pm and it was late for our family. The staff was accommodating in finding us cold milk for my two year old grandson though I don’t think they understood why we wanted it. We enjoyed the experience of working with French customs and I hope the staff was okay with our requests that were different for them.

Salle de restaurant anormalement grande et très très vieilllote, ce qui justifie en soit le classement de 1 cheminée mais le restaurant ne tient absolument pas ses promesses de 3 cocottes. Nous avions choisi des bons produits mais malheureusement ils étaient mal cuisinés : soit froids, soit trop cuits (ris de veau et coquilles Saint-Jacques), le foie gras était très décevant (annoncé avec pain d'épices, non servi). La qualité du filet de boeuf n'était pas identique d'un jour à l'autre. Seuls points positifs du menu : les amuses-bouches et le sympathique trou champenois.
Autre point positif de l'hôtel : la wifi était impeccable.

Une cuisine savoureuse, avec juste ce qu'il faut de modernité. Voilà un endroit ou SIMENON et son célèbre Commissaire auraient trouvés leurs aises.
