Lovely stay, staff very friendly, food excellent and bedroom beautiful
This short break was booked specially to bring to a close our travels to La Belle France. Over 45 yrs of many independent holidays with friends, family and as a couple across France, we wanted to re visit the Normandy Beaches, as closure…..due to our age.
Staying at Ferme de la Raconniere was just perfect….our idea of a wonderful hotel, in a delightful position and even more delightful staff.
Our memories will give us much happiness.

We normally stay at Logis Hotels. This step up to a Demeures was more than we would do again because of the cost.
Beautiful property away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns. Very relaxing with easy access to D-Day beaches and other sights. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent. Our room was tastefully decorated and welcoming. The bar was cozy, and it was so nice to have a restaurant on the premises. The grounds were so well manicured and beautiful. Everyone was friendly and professional. Thank you.
Nothing to complain about
The hotel and grounds are lovely and we knew the location was remote prior to making reservations. Improvements should be made to your staffing. We had an enjoyable experience when checking into the hotel. However, your staffing in the restaurant and bar was lacking. If reservations for dining are required every night, then you should advise customers at check in. We had reservations for Sunday night as you notified us before arrival that the weekends were busy, but never mentioned the weekdays. After a day of sightseeing on Monday, we were told that the kitchen was closed even though there were people eating and ordering in the dining room. The bar was open, but we were told that nothing from the bar menu could be ordered. Earlier that day, the front desk clerk was unwilling to help with calling a taxi. He handed us a list of taxi cab numbers which weren't correct. Thankfully a nice woman came in 30 minutes later and was happy to call a cab for us. I would have liked to have given you a better review but your staffing needs improvement.

The entire building is magnificent, the site very peaceful with lots of charm and character. We had a great time.
Exceeded expectations. Everything was right, reception started it well, the character of the property, the excellent food and of course its location all made it a very memorable stay.
Pleasant setting in an old farmhouse, tasteful decoration in the common areas but our room was a bit narrow without air conditioning and without a fridge. The bathroom and toilets were poorly laid out and without a ventilation system, so meh. The restaurant food was good but the service was too fast between courses, reminiscent of a holiday club "shame" and on our arrival we felt a disagreement between the reception team and the restaurant team, which made us feel uncomfortable.

We rediscovered the Norman and bucolic spirit that we had found 26 years ago to celebrate our wedding, the farm of the rançonniere has retained all its charm. Very comfortable room, good breakfast, dinner at the hotel restaurant excellent.

Absolutely beautiful location centrally located to all the Normandy beaches. First class restaurant as well. 5 stars.
The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. However, the breakfast was not up to 4-star standards. It was very disappointing. There was no choice, no homemade cake offered, only two pieces of fruit to choose from, no nuts, and no cereal. It was by far the worst breakfast I've ever had in a 4-star hotel. Therefore, I cannot share this opinion.
Location is not very good, the room style and decor are weird and the breakfast is not bad but bellow average.
4 adults stayed for 3 nights. Everyone at the hotel made us welcome. The hotel is spotless. Definitely eat dinner at the restaurant, wonderful

Wonderful place to stay
We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful and the accommodation was very cosy, warm and comfortable. The restaurant was fabulous which served delicious food. Honestly the best risotto I have ever eaten! We only had very minor notes- no fridge in the room. We like to get a few bits like milk when staying at a hotel as there is never enough milk given in the room. Housekeeping need to make sure there are enough towels for everyone staying in the room. Other than that our stay was superb!
Lovely hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff and great value for money. Great breakfast and excellent dinner in the evening.
