Everything went very well.
Reception complicated my reservation was not taken into account, the cleaning in my room leaves something to be desired, mold in the shower breakfast no hygiene, a paper towel for cutting bread

You just need to get a good night's sleep because the street is busy and there is a traffic light on the corner. This has nothing to do with the value for money of this hotel.
Hotel well located but aging... The rooms are correct (despite traces of wear and humidity). It is mainly the lack of hot water in the morning which explains the bill.

A happy stay
On arrival the hotel looked shabby. The old man on reception was rude and had no customer service skills whats so ever. He was clearly prejudice against the British. Ghastly man.

Booking via Logis had not got through but a room was found for us
A spotless clean room, a bathroom with a view to the main road :), that made out for the room window, that had the blinds broken and it was impossible to roll them up, to look over the window. We reported to the reception desk and they graciously offered to change the room. We declined, because it did not bother us too much, as it was almost dark and we were there just for the night.

Nice, clean and comfortable room near to the centre of town. Have stayed here before and always do whenever we are in the Vire area. Good reliable hotel, good value for money and always a warm welcome.
My 19 year old daughter had an accident and had to stay in town, while she was treated, including having surgery - the staff could not have been nicer or more supportive for herself and her Dad - the made a very difficult situation much easier, by the way staff were quietly supportive of her. Very much appreciated

Decent price/quality hotel. Room with clean and comfortable bedding. Very good bathroom. Well located in the city center near many shops, the car remains in the nearby car park with many places, and does not move. Copious and varied breakfasts, very good Personal listening to the customer.

Disappointing welcome on arrival a little better on our departure. Room door revealing the batteries because the magnetic cards do not work. Bathroom door that stays closed so I stayed stuck in it, luckily I wasn't alone in the room.

Best value for money in Vire
The staff of the Hotel St. Pierre are extremely helpful. The hotel itself is well situated in the centre of Vire and in close proximity to shopping and some very good restaurants. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Following our booking at this hotel, from the first moment, we informed the hotel that we would be arriving around 9 am to check in, with no response from the hotel reception.
On the same day, as we were late, we informed the hotel again through the Booking platform that we would arrive closer to midnight. Again with no answer.
When we arrived at the hotel, we found the hotel closed without a bell to ring. After waiting some time to see if anyone showed up, we called the reservation phone number, where a gentleman answered and informed us that he didn't have any reservation (only in French). After much insistence on telling the gentleman that we were waiting at the door, he agreed to appear. After about 20 minutes, a gentleman appeared on the street (who had already passed us when we arrived and was knocking on the hotel door) complaining about the time and that he was already at home when we made the call.
After opening the hotel door, he informed us that he had the reservation - we saw the name in the reception book - but the two rooms that we had booked were not available anymore. We informed the gentleman that we had warned that check-in was going to be later, and at no time were we told otherwise. He told us he hadn't seen it and that it wasn't his problem. Every interaction was with bad manners, without the respect that should be due in a relationship with a customer.
He presented, as an alternative to what happened, a room in his house without a bathroom, which was not at all acceptable as an option.
We had to look for a new hotel in the area at that time, accompanied by a small child, due to the total lack of professionalism and care that this hotel showed.
For these reasons, we want our money back, considering that the service wasn't delivered and caused us more trouble and expenses.

Simple but functional establishment with elevator. Small room, but large bed. Perfect for a short stay. Toilet and bathroom together very small. Very decent breakfast, nothing was missing! Good welcome.
