Comfortable, but it was a bit tricky working out the staircases, especially the steep one from reception. The staff member helped me with my small case. The room was on a terrace, with the entrance door open to the weather, so I was glad it was dry when I was there. The dinner was very good, but I would have liked an option for two courses only. Overall a lovely town and I'm glad I visited, and the hotel was in a good location with easy parking.

A charming hotel in a great location, close to the city center. The bar and restaurant have lovely decor. The staff is efficient and very attentive. Access to the rooms is a little tricky as the staircase is quite narrow. A small bottle of water and a kettle in the room would be appreciated.

Friendly hotel with old architecture. Friendly staff. Clean room. Bed for 2 a bit small. Bathroom a bit small, especially the access to the shower.

The staff is lovely. Always ready to help. The room and bathroom are clean. The breakfast is generous. We had lunch there and the food is delicious. The hotel's location, right in the center, is perfect with parking right in front. In short, we recommend it and we will come back with great pleasure.

Nice, typical hotel, with an impractical bathroom, but otherwise perfect for a one-night stopover. The setting is very nice. No problem parking nearby. The welcome is very good. The associated restaurant is great.

Very friendly staff and hotel

Booked for one night with family. Atypical hotel in a good location and friendly manager. Unfortunately, other young people welcomed us and were less pleasant. Regarding the room, the air conditioning did not work (heatwave so difficult night), there was no shower door because it was broken and the toilet smelled really bad. Breakfast expensive for what is offered.

The hotel is comfortable and welcoming, but it is located at the junction of several roads in this large, unattractive town of Saint Céré. You can, however, request a room overlooking the canal. The restaurant is in a courtyard in front of the restaurant, a street runs alongside it, but on the other hand, it is very quiet and the menu is surprisingly high quality and refined for a "simple" two-star hotel. The welcome is professional, minimal but professional. The price seems to me in any case a little too high at ten euros. The breakfast is good, everything is fresh and of good quality. In summary, a bad point for the setting, a good point for the comfort (quality bedding but no air conditioning and the toilet seat was broken), a very good point for the restaurant (delicious charcuterie board, menus at 32 or 45 euros + menu).

Lovely owners, the rooms are currently being renovated but are already comfortable and quiet. Beautiful building and good restaurant. We will be back!
