Very friendly welcome from a particularly jovial manager
The hotel is welcoming, and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. The change of ownership will undoubtedly boost the hotel's quality.
I booked a room with two beds, as I was traveling with a colleague. At reception, I also specified that I wanted two beds, but when they gave me the key, it was a double bed! I went downstairs to tell them, and the guy moved me to another room with two beds. Everything else was perfect, except for the restaurant, which closes at 8 pm and serves a single dish, but it's fine for one night. I would definitely stay again; the beds are wonderful, you sleep very well.
The location may be surprising, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
