Restaurant la Bonne Franquette

The manager was very welcoming and attentive. Originally from Belgium, she offered carbonnade on the menu with Belgian fries 😉 We had a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it.

The owner was very friendly, the room functional, and the bathroom with its large shower was a real plus. The meals and breakfast were excellent, and to top it all off, the establishment is full of charm.

Super nice people Michelle and his Team are doing a fantastic Job in the Restaurant (evening hours only) and for the breakfast. Best Coffee I got so far! Only little disapointment was that there ist no afternoon Business (Coffee, cake, small Snacks, Beer etc, you have to call Michelle as to get access) - which is no problem, since the super beautiful Marketplace were this Hotel is located Shows Up with a bar and Coffee, also a Brasserie ist there nearby. Yes, it is an old House with a Lot of atmosphere, which I really prefer before a cold, clean and anonymous mass tourism Hotel block

Hotel restaurant with two very separate entrances but no one to welcome us to the hotel even if we were seen, then a lunar speech from the owner who explains to us that the hotel door is only there to create a draft with that of the restaurant, no mention anywhere on this subject, we would have had to guess that we had to go to the restaurant to be taken into account. Non-air-conditioned room located next to a church that rings every 15 minutes, impossible to sleep with the window closed because of the heat, impossible to sleep with the window open because of the bells. We did not sleep all night. Bed not very stable, when one moves, it wakes the other. A socket ripped out of the wall, super dangerous. Cleanliness ok.

Friendly service

The room was very small and poorly soundproofed. The doors are equipped with bellhops. As a result, they slam if guests don't hold them. The toilet is very poorly placed in the bathroom. The staircase leading to the upper floors is very narrow. For the price, I expected much better.

A typical stopover with quality catering and, as its name suggests, “in a good, informal way”.
