Very nice hotel. We only stayed one night, passing through with the motorcycle. Very nice room which was very clean. Not too big our room, but more than enough. And with a key, sounds silly to mention yet when you only see cards in hotels it gives a more luxury feeling. Make no mistake, the hotel is very modern. With spa, which we didn't use due to no time. The restaurant, has a smaller card, with fresh ingredients. Yep, one too keep in mind.

De kamers waren proper en comfortabel. Het ontbijt was verzorgd, maar de aanvulling van de producten kon vlotter. De weekmenu was lekker, maar het hoofdgerecht was sober. We kregen amper een paar stukjes paprika bij een mooie kippenbrochette, al stond er 'warme groenten' vermeld. De puree was luchtig, maar ook wat weinig.

A bit dated but fun to stay at

The Logis had been recently refurbished in a beautiful style, very tasteful. Bed was comfortable and food excellent.

We stay at this hotel at least once a year, and we are always pleasantly surprised.

Disappointing breakfast and, most importantly, no air conditioning in the rooms.

Comfortable and cozy room (signed on the room door) with a water heater, espresso machine, and bottled water. There is no air conditioning, but there is a quiet fan.

It's a lovely experience in a tasteful high-quality setting. Almost perfect!
The only thing that lacks is a good air-conditioning and a minibar or small fridge at our room.
We had many accommodations during our stay in Hauts-de-France but none as good as this one.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

One more thing: The surroundings of the hotel or the village of Bollezeele are not recommended.

The young woman at reception gave us a very warm welcome.

Dinner we chose Plat du Jour, was ok.

Disappointed we were NOT advised at check-in the Pool and Hot Tub closed so early, their focus was whether we were having dinner and requiring breakfast.
After we had dinner we wanted to use before retiring, then told it was closed, primary reason for booking the hotel.

Second time of staying and excilent service and food

An incredible building, with comfortable rooms that guarantee a restful night's sleep. I travel regularly, and I have rarely enjoyed bedding this much.

A very nice establishment with top-notch food! As for the hotel itself, my room was small, without a television, with noisy heating, and no hairdryer. I must have gotten a bad room, lol. Despite that, this hotel is worth a visit.

The room we booked hadn't been cleaned. In the second room, the shower tap was broken, making it impossible to shower. The hotel was under renovation. At checkout, there was no compensation offered. It's a shame because the place is lovely and the food is good.

No more pastries at breakfast at 7:50 am. No more bread. No more butter. Unfriendly breakfast server. Bad smell in the hallways. No light under the skylight to access the annex rooms. Too many frozen ready-made products at dinner. Very good citrus mousse for dessert.

Broken blinds, temperature too low the first night, unreliable hot water, one cold shower, no hot water at the sink or difficulty understanding how to operate the taps! Overpriced breakfast, with pastries that weren't fresh and too many items ordered on request

Excellent reception by the staff, nice rooms, and although the restaurant was closed that evening, a set menu was offered. We had an excellent meal that evening. The rooms were comfortable, the hotel nicely situated in the village and our dog also had a good time. So all very positive and we will certainly be back.

Excellent stay, The room was modern and light, water and coffee were supplied too. Staff were helpful, polite and professional. Dinner was amazing and not over priced. We have stayed here before a number of times under the previous managers and always enjoyed it. The new management team are carrying on with the tradition of a marvellous, friendly French hotel, We will certainly keep going back there.

Lovely and helpful staff, quiet setting in nice garden.
For dinner, come early. Kitchen closes 8:45, great healthy food; bar open till 9:30.. we took glasses up to the room, no problem.

Very short stay so didn’t take advantage of the restaurant which looked really good or the breakfast which also looked enticing, maybe next time.

A nice big comfortable room, although bathroom could do with an update and the walls were very thin so we could hear people in the corridor .

Very good hotel, pleasant setting and very comfortable, clean and very pleasant rooms. Very pleasant and helpful reception staff but there is a lack of staff, particularly in the morning breakfast service. Breakfast a little too limited with little choice and pastries running out quickly. Only point to improve on this stay.

The hotel has benefitted from a major upgrade in terms of decor and furnishings. Our room was entirely comfortable for our overnight stay. Easy access to Le Shuttle makes this hotel an ideal location to break up a long return journey to the UK. Thank you to the owners and all of your staff. You gave us a comfortable and enjoyable stay at your hotel. We would gladly stay at this hotel again in the future.

Everything is perfect. Delicious meal. I would have preferred a shower. It's difficult to get into the bathtub with arthritis. This is the only negative point I can note.

Although they were very busy with a wedding party we had more than enough of a warm welcome. The restaurant team were first rate both for dinner and breakfast and the quality of the food excellent.

We regularly stay in the lodgings, and are very rarely disappointed, but there was a big disappointment with the meal in particular. In fact, we had taken the menu of the day at twenty-nine euros per person, classic starters with gizzard salad or seafood ravioli, but for the main course a casserole of fish that was not fresh and tasted of ammonia, we left more than half of it and the manager as compensation offered us a third of an extra dessert worthy of a supermarket. Surprise when paying the bill the next morning, we had ordered two kir cassis white wine as an aperitif without asking for the wine list, big mistake, they were charged 16 euros for both. The day before in another lodging it was 7 euros for both. The room was correct but a little cool, the radiator thermostat was blocked voluntarily as in all the rooms, the roller shutters were strapped for strong people. On the advert for the lodgings, it was indicated Cosy hotel and tasty restaurant, oops...

It was our 5th or 6th stay at this hotel, the owner Mme Dubreucq and her staff are always most welcoming and the food is absolutely wonderful. We look forward to returning again very soon. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere friendly to stay and enjoy really good food in homely surroundings.

Hello, overall I am satisfied with my stay in your establishment, however I would make 2 remarks on the catering service, they are as follows: 1) The notion of stipulating a "please" at each service rendered to a table or bringing of a dish was a little painful because repeated systematically and in any case too often for my taste. 2) It would be wise that in the event of a syntax error on the part of a customer concerning for example the pronunciation of a cheese, that this does not cause laughter accordingly and in the back room the Director of the establishment and the waitress in the dining room. In any case, a little discretion is required, I specify that I clearly heard your exchanges at my table, and I deplore it. I was on the verge of telling you about it but I changed my mind not wishing to argue on the subject. After that it was probably not mean of you, at least I hope so, but believe me mockery is not customary towards a customer.

Quality welcome. On an evening stopover, it is very pleasant to have a quality welcome and service after your day's work. Attentive staff. I recommend.

Very well-kept hotel with attentive staff

We only booked last minute as we decided to stay the last night of our holiday closer to the ferry which was only half an hour away. We had the pleasure to stay in the Jura suite which was very comfortable with a lovely view. Had one of the best dining experiences of our lives in the evening, fantastic food and wine with great service! Breakfast was good but coming from England we love a cooked breakfast rather than a continental so would have been nice to have the option to pay for something more filling. Only slight grips are the size of the towels as the largest towels available are more like our hand towels at home and the WiFi is ok if you’re only connecting your phone not a fire stick or kindle. Will definitely be rebooking in the future as we loved staying here.

Everything was very pleasant: the welcome, the room, the dinner and the little lunch.

We had an excellent overnight stay. We chose this hotel because there is off street parking in the hotel grounds and the food reviews looked good. It didn’t disappoint. Our dinner was close to Michelin star quality and our hostess (the owner), was very attentive. She also remembered that it was my birthday! We would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Fourth time we have come to the Hostellerie Saint Louis and we are still just as happy.

Traditional hotel close to places to visit, including the superb Museum of Flanders. We had a (very) large room with very good bedding. The whole thing could do with a little refresh. The friendly welcome won us over.

The hotel is very well maintained and has a special charm. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. It can compete with a Michelin-star restaurant. They provided us with a room for our bicycles.

Lovely hosts and excellent food

We had a lovely stay. The owner makes you feel right at home. We had one of the junior suites and while it was very hot weather we could cool the room very nicely during the night. Dinner was absolutely delicious at a very reasonable price. We will definitely visit here more often.
