Restaurant Alb'Hôtel Grill

We boekten een kamer voor 3 personen voor 2 nachten,bij het binnenkomen werden we overwelmd van een vochtige, schimmelachtige, muffe huur. De kamer op zich was ok maar de hygiëne was echt niet top. Onder de wc-bril lag schaamhaar van de vorige gasten, de Douchegel was leeg en er waren slechts 2 handdoeken. De volgende ochtend maakte ik een opmerking over de gebreken, er werd gegarandeerd dit op te lossen. Bij thuiskomst in de kamer hadden we terug slechts 2 handdoeken, geen Douchegel en was de wc nog steeds vuil. Het ontbijt was karig maar voor 10€ mag je ook niet teveel verwachten.

The air conditioning is very loud, and unfortunately, the windows can't be opened because the hotel is near a busy road. The waiter from the restaurant was at reception; he initially said we couldn't eat there today because reservations are required two hours in advance. However, we were able to eat anyway, and it was surprisingly quite tasty. The staff in the restaurant were not friendly at all.

Very welcoming, very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, but the area around them was cleaned! Good soundproofing. Okay for a stopover.

The location, 20 minutes from Annecy, was great. The price was good, the room was decent, the mattress was fine, there were several pillows available, the air conditioning was very welcome, as were the electric blinds. The breakfast buffet included juice, ham, fruit, baguette, and croissants. The swimming pool was a real plus. The restaurant was convenient and good. What I didn't like: The flat shower tray with only half a glass panel meant water splashed all over the room, and it flooded if you didn't turn off the water. The showers and sinks weren't cleaned during our four-night stay. The floor was dirty upon arrival; our feet were dirty, and we had to pull the bed out because something had fallen underneath. It was filthy. Is it ever cleaned thoroughly? The linens weren't changed until the third night, and even the bath towel was dirty. As for the Wi-Fi, don't forget to reconnect every time you return to the hotel!

Great experience at this hotel, very pleasant staff, clean place, nothing to complain about.

The room was adequate despite dust under the beds. The meal was excellent. Service was rather slow for children. Limited choice of children's meals.

Inefficient air conditioning with leaks

The air conditioning was broken; someone came but didn't fix anything, and no one offered to change rooms. We had to open the window with the highway 50 meters away!

Wedged between the motorway and the main road, we were worried about noise, but at least we slept very well on the main road side. The room was comfortable enough (the air conditioning worked well, the bed was good, the TV channels were very good, and there was a hairdryer). The welcome was very good and understanding. The restaurant was quite good and the service very pleasant. Breakfast was a bit basic (no eggs).

A pleasant stay, warmly welcomed by a friendly team. The air-conditioned room was comfortable and relaxing during this heatwave. An elevator would be a welcome addition. The pool was lovely for a refreshing dip after our sightseeing and walks. Be careful of the small pebbles around the pool and the ladder. The hotel is well located; I recommend it. 🐞

This hotel has been under new management for a while now; there are still some improvements to be made, but ultimately it's simple, up to standard, and adequate, nothing more to ask. And that's fine when you book this kind of stay.

Good value for money

Faulty air conditioning. TV volume set too low. Reception and service were really very average. Food quality was decent. Refreshing pool for a stopgap but nothing more. Sorry

Beautiful stage in Savoie

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Good quality of accommodation and breakfast. Thank you.

The prices displayed in the room range from 74 to 95€ and we paid 94€ while the hotel was practically empty. It's a shame to pay the high price in these conditions. It's also a shame that people still allow themselves to smoke in the rooms which is really annoying but the hotelier can't do anything about it

Top staff. Who knew how to make the stay pleasant. The terrace is very pleasant and sunny. A good, quiet and pleasant hotel.
