5 km from Cala di Volpe is the undisputed capital of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo. In summer it becomes an extraordinary and sparkling parade of yachts, sailing boats and celebrities: in the small square it is easy to find yourself shopping with film and TV stars. Every day is a continuous alternation of appointments with the international jet set: parties, social events, sports, golf in particular. Separated by a promontory, you will find the Piccolo Pevero, a small beach less than half the length of the "big sister". Offshore, you can admire the islets of Li Nibani, "the seagulls". Two kilometres further south are other wonders: the Romazzino and the Prince's beach (in honour of the Aga Khan). Opposite the "emerald" promontory, you will be seduced by charming coves, including Cala di Volpe and Liscia Ruja. Further south, you can't miss the paradise of Cala Capriccioli, small beaches of fine pale sand protected by yellow, pink and reddish granite rocks. The name Gallura means "goat", meaning a pair of powerful, rounded and smooth rocks that form various coves. The lido to the east is ideal for families, the west side is formed by the beaches "del Pirata" and "delle Tartarughe". The panorama is enriched by the islands of Soffi and Camere and the small island of Mortorio. At 300 mt from the Green Park Hotel there is the Pevero Golf Club, one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world for the suggestive panorama. The 18-hole course, which extends over 6,107 m and has a par 72, is considered an extremely difficult course because of its obstacles that test even the best golfers. It therefore requires a great deal of concentration and playing experience. The Pevero, in the sparkling landscape of the Costa Smeralda, is a jewel in its own right, placed in the right place by the landscape magician Robert Tren Jones. The playground, surrounded by rock formations, natural lakes and Mediterranean scrub that smells of juniper, myrtle and strawberry, makes this place beautiful, magical.
