A 15-minute wait at reception only to find out our reservation wasn't in the hotel itself, but in the hotel's annex! A tiny room, a far too soft mattress, and no soundproofing whatsoever...in short, poor value for money.
Small room, tiny bathroom, poor soundproofing, and the bedding is completely worn out!

I found a very charming hotel for a very reasonable price.
The staff was extremely attentive, and having private parking was great.
Definitely a place to return to.
Based on the photos, I was very disappointed with my room. It was dark, undecorated, with old furniture, a dirty bathroom curtain, and above all, a very strong musty smell. The receptionist was friendly.

Misleading advertising regarding the photos of the room, damaged bedside table, bad smell in the musty room, very poor soundproofing, unpleasant bedding, somewhat sloppy welcome, the next day we slept in a different hotel for the same number of stars and the same price which was much better
Very average hotel. The rooms were non-smoking, which is fine, but my room was on the first floor and my window overlooked an employee's smoking area, so the smell was quite unpleasant.
Very warm welcome from Sophie... Room with very comfortable bedding and very very clean!! A TOP breakfast, everything was delicious to get back on the road... A big thank you to Sophie and Maria! If we return to Biarritz, this accommodation will be at the top of my list to stay there again... I highly recommend it to customers.

We enjoyed the hotel, and the service was good. However, we noticed some areas that needed improvement: the sliding bathroom door didn't isolate the room at all; you could hear everything, and the door was slightly off the wall. The room was a bit cramped, making it hard to open a suitcase on the floor. The shutters look nice, but they don't completely block out the light (I wish there were as many blinds as in Spain). An elevator would be nice, although we understand it would be difficult given the layout of the building. On the plus side, it's close to the city center, as it's only a leisurely walk to get there.

I really like this hotel for its family atmosphere, helpful and welcoming!
The hotel room is extremely small and outdated such a pity because the building and family is sooo nice but the room was extremely tiny very hot and the there was no space to even go from one side of the bed to another. Instead of AC there is a huge fan that occupies all the space basically on one side of the bed. This is a gem of a place but needs some remodeling for sure. Also the covers were super hot and sheets has texture on them so not smooth. Lovely staff and service for sure!

Great stay at the Val Floris Hotel
Everything was fine, the shower was very narrow. In room 7
Double room booked. Was provided with a room in an annex to the main hotel which was accessed by an external unlit staircase. Room was very small and en suite was minute. Not suitable for a 4 night stay. As 4 nights booked would have thought that the owner would have realised that the room was not suitable. We cut short our stay by one night as couldn’t put up with it any longer. Have to say that it was in the 30’s during our stay which certainly didn’t help matters due to lack of air conditioning.
Hotel in the heart of Biarritz, quiet and with free parking!!!!! Great shaded terrace under a magnificent magnoola tree. And the welcome and service are very friendly. The room is a shame there is no air conditioning. Because with 36 degrees outside.....

The room was too small, the bathroom very small and the room has no air conditioning and was way too hot, couldn't sleep well. The bed was confortable though, but the bed sheets were very strange and uncorfortable.

We received a very warm welcome for our last-minute accommodation. The bedding is excellent, and we're 10 minutes from the seafront. A full breakfast is available at a very reasonable price. Another special mention goes to the hostess, who made us feel very welcome!
The hotel is somewhat old and neglected. We were given a room in the bathroom where the pipes make a lot of noise when the shower is turned on, and the toilet also leaks water when you flush the toilet. You have to make sure it doesn't keep leaking water. The nightstand is unstable and could fall over at any moment. In short, a hotel that needs maintenance. The area is very quiet and the receptionist is friendly.
