A great stay. The managers are very attentive and friendly. The pool is a big plus. The breakfast is very varied with lots of homemade items (cheesecake, yogurts, rice pudding, etc.). I definitely recommend it and will come back if I have the opportunity.

A place that is original, well located, quiet, welcoming, comfortable, very nicely decorated, and an extraordinary breakfast with a beautiful variety of homemade "treats"!! In short, you will want to extend your stay. Absolutely recommended!!

Magical! The hotel is carved into the hillside directly into the rock, as its name suggests. Of course, there's no air conditioning or restaurant, but the natural coolness of the stone, the comfort of the room, the view, the calm, and the welcome quickly make you forget everything else.

We had a very pleasant stay and were able to enjoy the pool and terraces to dine in peace and quiet surrounded by nature. Breakfast in a converted cave is a wonderful experience.

An unusual hotel. Lovely stay in a 'cave room'. Comfortable and clean. In view of the very hot weather the swimming pool was a great asset. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of food.

A warm welcome to start with and personalized support for my husband who walks with a cane. A quiet and charming place with a lovely swimming pool to relax in. The room allocated was great and original. We had a very good night. There is all the expected comfort and a very good breakfast in a magnificent room.

This is an excellent hotel! Tastefully furnished, the troglodyte rooms are very original and very comfortable. We were able to eat on our small terrace. The hotel on several levels allows for lovely views and... the best is the swimming pool! Very well landscaped and a good size. We were very well received. The owners are very attentive.

The decoration of the troglodyte room is very original, totally exotic and charming. My stay would have been more pleasant if the heating had been turned on a few hours before my arrival. Before the heating was effective I was already leaving the next morning. The exterior of the hotel has considerable geographical assets but their current development unfortunately leaves a general impression of great clutter, unfinished for many years. The signage from the city center is almost non-existent.

Atypical place, the rooms are pleasant and well decorated. A great place to visit the surrounding castles. Not to be missed. Very friendly welcome.

Very pleasant stopover. Spacious and very well-equipped troglodyte rooms. Neat decoration. The surprise I wanted to make was very successful and appreciated. A large choice of products offered for breakfast. Some are homemade. It will be a beautiful travel souvenir.

Excellent stay in this accommodation... really very good breakfast and with a lot of choice... we appreciated the homemade products. The site is very calm and atypical. The suite was comfortable, the bedding was great and the welcome was friendly. I really recommend this accommodation which is perfectly located to visit the surrounding castles.

Very nice and very original experience. The exterior of the hotel is charming and the interior of our accommodation, the little Troglo, was refined and warm. Everything is clean and comfortable. The mosaic room plunges us into another universe. In short, it was a “timeless” moment, very exotic and relaxing.

Although a little way from the A10, staying at this unique hotel was a great experience, the cave rooms are warm and beautifully decorated with lovely fresh linen and the hosts could not be more welcoming. The breakfast was extremely good . Enjoyed seeing the famous Azay-le-rideau. Plenty of restaurants in town, though probably fewer on a Monday

My friend had Covid and we had to cancel our stay. I called the hotel at 1 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. to notify them and ask if it was possible to reschedule our stay. Each time, I got on the answering machine and left a message. No one ever called me back. Of course the amount of the night has been taken. I don't know how good the accommodation is, but their communication is terrible!
