Friendly staff

The rooms were clean, though they could use a little updating, but the bedding was excellent and the meal was superb. We received a warm welcome and would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

The hotel is well-located and pleasant for a stopover. The rooms are clean. The rooms facing the courtyard are quieter. Dinner is very good and breakfast is decent.

Hotel with very welcoming staff. Quiet, you can park your car in the courtyard. The room is renovated and the bathroom is large. The food is quality with local dishes.

We had two rooms, booked at the same time, at the same price. But the two rooms were of varying quality. One was good, the other very small. Disappointing.

A beautiful little haven of peace where you are "pampered"

We only stayed one night, but it was perfect. We had dinner at the restaurant. Quality products in quantity. We had a great time. The breakfast is complete and varied. The hotel setting exactly met my expectations. We are delighted.

Wonderful family run hotel in a proper french town

Dust on furniture, including bedside tables, dust on the ceiling. No toilet seat. A kettle and two small fans are available, but there are no free power outlets to use them without unplugging something else. Breakfast is a bit expensive for what is offered.

Excellent restaurant with very good service. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. It could definitely do with a rejuvenation, as it is located in a setting that should be enhanced.

This is the second year we've stayed at this hotel, and we're just as delighted to be there. The welcome is very warm, and the staff are very attentive to our needs (thank you for the whole-wheat bread I requested). The breakfast is truly adapted to all health problems. Don't hesitate to mention this when booking.

After a day of cycling along the Via Allier, we received a warm welcome at the Hôtel Saint Joseph. The garage secures bikes overnight, the shaded terrace is ideal for aperitifs, and the hotel restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Excellent stopover. We had forgotten glasses and they very kindly sent them to us. I highly recommend this establishment.

The family room is ideal for 3 adults, with three very comfortable beds and plenty of room to move around. The food is of high quality, adequate, and tasteful! The staff are friendly and attentive to requests. Thank you for the welcome and the secure storage for our bikes.

We had a lovely overnight stop at this Hotel, and Dinner was superbly cooked and presented. We were very 'out of season' in mid march, but they looked after us very well!

We had a really lovely overnight stay after a long journey. We had a friendly welcome, our room was warm & the bed very comfortable. We were able to park easily on site, but there is also a car park in the square opposite.
The evening meal was delicious and very good value as was the breakfast.
We hope to visit again.

As bikers, this is an excellent hotel to get to the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit, just 24 kms of a beautiful road. Very good accessibility of free parking, superb garage for two wheels. Our motorcycle slept in the shelter............We highly recommend.

Very pleasant staff

2nd stay in 1 month for, this time, our return from vacation: once again, everything was perfect! Due to the heatwave, dinner was served on the terrace: a plus! In the room, the mini-fridge, the courtesy tray and the small air conditioner proved very useful... If you sleep with the window open, prefer a room not overlooking the street because there is heavy traffic even at night !

Very warm welcome, friendly staff. The only downside concerns the breakfast, not very suitable for people with diabetes. A little butter and cheese would be appreciated and if there was also wholemeal bread, it would be perfect. Overall we are satisfied with our stay at the Saint Joseph hotel.

Very friendly welcome, spacious room with (very rare!) courtesy tray, simple bathroom but with large bathtub and above all excellent cuisine for hotel guests only on Sunday evening: we will happily come back!

I am very satisfied with my stay at the St Joseph Hotel. I was well installed with my three dogs in a room on the ground floor and I was able to park my car in the courtyard very close to the bedroom door: which made it easier for me to take my dogs out and transfer the dogs. luggage. Breakfast was very good and complete. I would like to thank the staff of the establishment very much for their welcome.

Very good evening stopover in this small provincial hotel, with a good welcome and also a very reasonable dinner for the price (starter + main course = 18€ and 21€ with a dessert). I also recommend the glass of Menetou Salon rouge!!

The hotel seems from another age but it is not the most prohibitive. What is not acceptable: charging a rate higher than that indicated in writing when booking and refusing to apply the planned rate! Very disturbing: strong smell of tobacco in the room and poor soundproofing between the rooms. Very disappointing: minimalist breakfast, you have to like white ham and discount industrial jams, no other choice! Undrinkable coffee even when adding a lot of sugar. We will pass on a rather dry welcome, poor wifi and a few other “details”, in short, we will not come back.

Very good experience overall. But the 10 a.m. check out I find is a little short. But the staff gave us until 10:45 a.m. which was nice but still short. Until 12 p.m. it would have been PERFECT
