A wonderful experience on all levels: comfort, welcome, food, environment! I highly recommend it!

The room was small and dated, but very clean. The bathroom was cramped, with no electrical outlets or shelves, and also outdated. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was very friendly. In short, disappointing compared to the photos on the website; one expects better in this type of establishment. A shame.

Nilesh gave us a very warm welcome, and the setting is relaxing amidst the vineyards.

The hotel is in a great setting with lovely views.

The restaurant served exectional food though we were disappointed it wasn't open on the sunday we arrived and not warned as such!
Overall, we would highly recommend this venue!

Warm welcome, great restaurant and breakfast, beautiful surroundings but the rooms are better when the weather is warm. Very comfortable bed but there is little space for toiletries in the bathroom, no heated towel rail and no power point. No working heating in the room either.

Excellent location, beautiful scenery, very friendly, helpful, welcoming, professional staff. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable and very clean.

The room is really small and the soundproofing is almost non-existent. You can hear the sound of a compressor every ten minutes, the pipes resonate in the walls, and even conversations or alarm clocks from neighboring rooms are audible. The comfort is greatly affected, and unfortunately, it's closer to an Ibis Budget or a Formule 1 than a luxury hotel. Fortunately, the restaurant clearly raises the bar: the food is excellent and the staff is very kind, which partly makes up for the experience.

Magnificent place, the hotel stopover evening is perfect. The setting, the comfort of the bedding, the quality of the meals.

Good stay at the hotel, dinner at the restaurant perfect, however I found the breakfast expensive (16 euros) for what there was, personally I travel a lot for my work and in general at this price I have more choice. We also had drinks at the outside bar and I admit that the price of the cocktail is a bit excessive (12 euros) especially since half the glass is filled with ice cubes.

Old-fashioned room. Bathroom shower/bathtub not working. No furniture to put things on. Balcony with a beam that makes it difficult to sit comfortably, too small. Food far too expensive for the quantity (child's portion??)

All good apart from restaurant

Decent welcome. Hotel looks very ugly from the outside and clearly needs a general refresh. Room is far too small, and soundproofing is non-existent. The air conditioning is noisy at night. No outlet in the bathroom. The restaurant, however, is making up for it a bit... Basic breakfast. Value for money = Mediocre, especially for the geographical area.

The room is a bit small, but the comfortable bedding, the separate toilet from the bathroom, and a small balcony make up for this detail. The restaurant is quality. Very well-prepared cooking. Efficient service.

Beautiful setting, professional and pleasant staff. Quite a bit of neglect on the exterior: degraded facades, broken paving stones, rusty wrought iron railings... Very cramped, very small room. In terms of catering, the staff is pleasant. The dishes are well presented and the products are of quality, however the service is very slow: out of 4 dinners, I waited almost an hour for 1 dish for 3!

Overall Experience:
The hotel was very nice and ideally located, with a beautiful view and a calm atmosphere.
Charge station was working great and allow us to completely recharge in two hours.

Highlights:

The swimming pool was great.
Breakfast was good.
The room was clean and comfortable.

Room for Improvement:
The bath curtain was too long and ended at the bottom of the tub, which was not very pleasant.

It was very good and we liked the stay very much. Only at the restaurant we got the feeling, that the staff was annoyed because our french was very bad… but we are not sure. It was a little displeasing. But overall the stay was very good, we charged our car, it went perfectly, the staff was overall very nice to us and the room was beautiful and very clean. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. Thank you very much!

Excellent value for money! Although the buildings aren't perfect from the outside, the welcome, the pool, and the beautiful park with outdoor bar were perfect for a stopover on the vacation route.

We enjoyed a one night stay on our journey from Spain to the UK. Our room was clean & comfortable, albeit a little on the small side, our dinner (served outside in wonderful surroundings) was superb, and breakfast was plentiful. The peaceful setting of this hotel was a joy and the scenery was beautiful. All the staff were friendly & helpful. We were warmly welcomed - and Henry, our Old English Sheepdog, was equally well greeted.

The surroundings are nice.
The pictures on the website are great but the reality is different. the building is old and needs renovation and above all, the rooms are very small.
The taps were behind the dirty shower curtain, no place to put your belongings in the bathroom, very small toilet, and EV charging possibilities only one (not standard but maybe French) connection method.
We had the impression we lived in a very small caravan. We left two days before the end of our stay and went back home.

Good experience during my stay.

Very small room under the roof, 2-star Ibis type and not 3-star. You can barely turn around. Ridiculous balcony with uncomfortable chairs. Very nice dinner, unfortunately the wines are mainly from the Dourthe group (the owner :) ), not at the level of the dishes served.

Pleasant setting despite a very clean superior room, this one was very small, no socket in the bathroom for a razor or hairdryer. Breakfast too expensive for a very limited choice apart from hard-boiled eggs, no hot food at all.

A fairly basic and reasonably priced hotel in the most beautiful location with views to die for. Coupled with a truly excellent restaurant it’s absolutely perfect. The chap who greeted us was charming and spoke excellent English - it helped that he was a massive premier league football fan who supported the same team as me!

The reception is very professional and very friendly. But the hotel is extremely ugly on the outside and has long needed a facelift. The common areas, reception and breakfast room, are adequate. The room was clean and the bedding was good quality, and the housekeeping was well done every day. However, the room was tiny with a sliding window that was more like a loophole because it was so small. This created a depressing atmosphere even in the middle of the day. The bathroom is adequate, but the sink faucet is ridiculous and complicated. The toilet is so small that you have to contort yourself to get in and close the door. I don't understand the 3-star hotels. Tonight we are staying in a 2-star hotel in the region that is smart, with a large, modern, and bright room and a large bathroom. We didn't go to the restaurant, which is apparently very good. But the hotel is not worthy of its owner, the Dourthe vineyards. Its only advantage is that it is the only hotel in the area, hence perhaps the lack of commitment to making the rooms brighter.

Good experience overall, but sadly because the problems connecting to WiFi, we had to spend additional amount of money to purchase exctra data.
Thus shouldn’t be a problem for a place of your level in 2025 to adress.

Great stay despite the rain…! We ate very well at the restaurant, with an Easter menu that lived up to expectations :)

The place is really charming and peaceful, the restaurant excellent and the staff of impeccable friendliness and welcome. I will not hesitate to come back for an evening stopover or for a relaxing weekend.

Privilege room upstairs with countryside view. Perhaps the hotel lacks disabled access. Defective citrus press at breakfast. Long wait at the restaurant, the staff apologized and offered us wine. Restaurant dishes not up to the price paid, lack of originality.

Poor signage on arrival meant that we struggled to find the reception, and our first impression was not improved when we found that our room had been prepared for one guest instead of two! But the room was comfortable with a nice view, the staff were friendly and responsive, and we enjoyed the breakfasts in the lovely breakfast room.

Last minute booking in the evening with dogs. The host was very friendly and inviting. They even had beds for our dogs. Felt safe with plenty of space to walk the dogs. Quiet and slept well. Left very early so didn't have a chance to eat which looked like a great menu. We will definitely return.

This is the second time I have been to this place, the setting is really nice, the restaurant too. I just have a problem with the quality of the central heating or air conditioning because every time I come, there are noises like air bubbles in the circuit and it is burning at night.

room 206 (maybe the last one available) with too much pipe noise, does not meet the standards of this type of accommodation.

Beautiful place, normal sized room, bathroom a little narrow but clean and practical. Magnificent setting, quality restaurant in a beautiful setting. Relatively quiet rooms if no one is walking in the corridors, because the doors are leaves, it resonates a lot. In addition, you can hear the people at reception talking on the first floor. Otherwise, when everyone is asleep, absolute calm. In the end, a great experience to repeat

This is the second time I have come to this establishment and the welcome is always so pleasant. The room is tastefully decorated. The bathroom is small but clean. There is no connection in the bathroom for electrical appliances. The room doors are not soundproof enough. I was near the stairs and I could hear everything that was happening on the ground floor in the morning. As for the restaurant, the dishes are very fine but remain quite expensive in my opinion.

Room very very poorly insulated, the reception opens and installs breakfast at 6:35 am we can hear the installation very clearly, sleep is impacted too bad for the hotel. Message concerning ecology in the rooms but cardboard cups too bad...

Room a bit small (storage space) for a stay of several days. And no free electrical outlet to recharge devices. At the restaurant, the cutlery is not replaced between starter and main course... not of a standard for a "gastronomic" restaurant

Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. Room was exceedingly clean and had a beautiful view. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Breakfast was late being available. Several people including myself had to wait 30 minutes for everything to be in place.
Otherwise a very good, if expensive, experience.

An excellent hotel with great value for money. The setting is incredible, the swimming pool is a big plus, and the restaurant is fantastic! Maybe it's just missing a microwave (in the room or in the common areas)

We had a wonderful stay, the room although small was well presented and clean the window had lovely views over the garden.. the resturant served out of this world food and local wine.

Arrived on Friday, with 7 friends, nice room terrace with swimming pool view, very good restaurant, succulent dishes, very friendly and caring staff. Hearty breakfast on the terrace with a view of the vineyard. On Sunday evening, a garden party was organized in the hotel garden, on the principle of 3 starters, 3 main courses, 3 desserts in small portions, a delight!!!!! Well done everyone, an unforgettable weekend

A little disappointed with the room with balcony no wider than a chair and on which you cannot stand because the roof prevents you from doing so, plus the railings being empty it is dangerous as you are either with children or animals The shower curtain is also a bit outdated and unhygienic

Nice hotel and very good restaurant

Very nice hotel in very beautiful surroundings.

We were traveling down France and needed to stay a night on a specific date, at the mid point of our journey and I found this hotel by chance. There happened to be a special offer for that day for the room including breakfast. Once we had arrived, I wondered if the price was per person as the quality and ambiance was fantastic for the rate we were paying. The weather was terrible so we arrived earlier than the official check in time but it was no problem and we were shown to our room. We were quite tired after our long drive so we relaxed and had a short sleep. Our plan had been to have a light meal in the village but the local restaurant was closed so we decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant and I'm so glad we did. The meal was amazing and well worth the price we paid. We were served olives and a delicious cheese biscuit with our drinks. The amuse-bouche was superb. Both the starters and main dish were sublime. Everything was fresh and much of it was local, including the wine which was from the chateau next door. In the morning, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast with loads of choice and took in the glorious views over the vineyards. I can strongly recommend this hotel and the staff who were all lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet room with a lovely view over the vineyards. Just one small fault was entering the WC. It was such a tight squeeze to avoid trapping yourself against the toilet paper holder. Also the extractor fan in the WC didn’t work.
Restaurant was very good but the choice on the menu was very limited. We had breakfast all 3 mornings and it was one of the best we have ever had in France.

A sound and visual disaster, an atmosphere not at all adapted to the price of the service. Fortunately the quality of the staff is at the top to enhance it a little. Very disappointed with this night in these dilapidated premises.

Hotel located in a very beautiful setting, the room was very clean, and the bedding very good. Good welcome. On the other hand, the room was small, and the air conditioning was very (too) noisy. No electrical outlet in the bathroom. Concerning the restaurant, the starters were original and excellent, the main courses correct, but far from the level of the starters; Shame ! The menu option for tasting wines is a good idea, and the diversity of wines offered is interesting. The service is very good and the staff friendly and attentive. The price seemed too high to me compared to tables of equivalent quality, hence my disappointment.

Ires well received upon our arrival. and throughout the stay - what calm and superb views of the surrounding vineyards. we recommend the restaurant which may seem a little expensive but the quality/price ratio is excellent. very fresh products and subtly mixed flavors.

Just OK compared to other 3-star accommodations in France. Barely deserves the third star. Bedding and room comfort ok. Noisy heating at night which prevents you from sleeping. The room decor is simplistic. The bathtub is not practical, especially for taking a shower. Very expensive breakfast considering the quality and choice offered. The Nespresso coffee machine lets you. to desire. Prefer a machine without a pod,
