A beautiful hotel in a great location in a wonderful city in the Loire Valley: What more could you want?
The hotel is well located in the center of Amboise, easily accessible with the possibility of parking nearby. The room is adequate. However, there are two drawbacks: the noise from the roller shutter opening in the morning when you are in room 1. The second is a noise, probably coming from the heating unit (located above the door), which turns on rather loudly at night due to the circulation of a fluid. Sincerely

The price-quality ratio is acceptable. Excellent location. Clean. Offers all the comforts. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; you can hear the adjoining room and the outside very clearly. There are stairs and unfortunately no elevator. The rooms are a bit small. It's fine for a stopover. The reception was very good. Good breakfast.

This hotel has recently been taken over by a young and very friendly team. A pleasant surprise at a reasonable price. Good value for money. A very clean room, and with roller shutters! The breakfast was more than adequate. We will be back.
Warm welcome, friendly and competent
Good quality bedding, blackout blinds, BUT: No decoration in this rather impersonal room. TV volume stuck at 25 (probably due to the poor soundproofing). Even my granddaughters couldn't hear it. Bathroom: not even a shelf or small piece of furniture to put toiletries or bags; I wasn't informed that the restaurant was closed for renovations. No dinner at the hotel with my two granddaughters, and no option for a continental breakfast either. Being intolerant to wheat and sugary foods, I always choose hotels based on the "savory breakfast" criterion. I wasn't informed of this when I made the reservation. So, disappointment.
Friendly welcome, decent room, but the soundproofing around the doors was inadequate. The restaurant was under renovation, so breakfast wasn't what was advertised. However, a 10% discount was applied to the original price. Ideally located in the city center.
The hotel failed to mention that the restaurant was closed for renovations, so we had to go out again for dinner and eat breakfast in our room at a small table with only one chair. The bathroom was tiny, the shower Lilliputian, and there was no soundproofing from the neighbors. The gesture of goodwill wasn't enough to make up for my disappointment.

Great location and very friendly staff. Car park was rélatively close which was good. Room was good size for our family.
I had seen a few negative ratings on this place so I was kind of worried before I got there. However, as of May of 25’, they must have done some refurbishing. My room was clean, neat, and comfortable. Everything worked great. I especially loved the mirror with the lights built in, the AC, and the electric blinds.
While I didn’t get to eat dinner there, the food looked fantastic.

I know online it said free parking. While they don’t necessarily have free parking on site, free parking is very close, a 3-4 minute walk. Park at (Parking Autocars (Amboise)” on Google maps. It is the closest free parking.
Overall, very pleased and would definitely recommend.

The double rooms are windowless (and therefore have no view of the city as described on Booking.com), with only a single skylight providing light. The sound on the small television is extremely low, almost at the minimum volume (22), and you really have to strain to hear it! As for the parking mentioned in the description for €12 per day, it's simply one of the city's parking lots, quite close by and some of them free. The bedding is comfortable. The price of €99 isn't particularly expensive in itself… but it's too much for a windowless 11m² room… Fortunately, the hotel is in the city center and the staff is friendly.
