Very well located hotel close to the sea, shops and restaurants, very warm welcome from the owner, comfortable room and very good breakfast
Very good stay, good location, clean, bright room and pleasant staff
Not everything is terrible about this hotel. The room was clean. But there were enough disappointments to make my stay at this hotel the lowest point of my vacation. The hotel is designed as a well, the sounds from the outside and especially from the inside are amplified. You hear all the intimate details of what people in other rooms are doing - brushing their teeth, taking a shower, talking, using the toilet.
Some genius affixed the toilet paper dispenser right above the toilet bowl, so you cannot sit normally on the toilet. You have to lean sideways because your right shoulder is pushing against the toilet paper dispenser.
The WiFi was spotty, to put it mildly. It barely worked at all.
But the worst was the reception staff. We were late to arrive at the hotel and the manager didn’t make any effort to accommodate our late arrival beyond sending me a message on Bioking.com asking about our arrival time and advising that the hotel doesn’t have night service. I didn’t get the message until I arrived at the hotel. The manager could have left me a note with my room number and leave the room open. At another hotel on this trip the manage left me the key in an envelope taped to the hotel door. This manager did no such thing, he made no effort at all. As a result we spent the first night in a car parked outside of the hotel. When the manager arrived in the morning, he was quite unapologetic. He didn’t even express any empathy towards our plight.
I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, unless you can plan everything in advance for your trip and you don’t mind crappy service, hearing everything your neighbors are doing and them hearing everything you’re doing.

The room was small, but very clean and equipped with every comfort (kettle, glassware, and stainless steel spoons). Convenient on-site parking. Conveniently located for St. Raphael Beach. The manager was very kind, both in recommending the quietest room and offering tips for visiting the area. Good breakfast. No elevator. Recommended for a one- or two-night stay.
It's always a pleasure to stay at the Hotel l'Estrella! The bedding is very comfortable, the rooms are pleasant, and the hotel is across the street from the beach. We had a great stay.

Having paid the maximum price, I would have preferred one of the best rooms, with a balcony.
Disappointing at the beginning of July, bed with duvet without sheets, pillows with stains, bathroom dust, etc. Portable air conditioner making an impossible noise, impossible to sleep if you don't turn it off. Breakfast with low-cost products except the orange juice and coffee, a treat, phew. Otherwise, yes, something positive, very well located so you don't have to use the car anymore, secure parking and we were able to get the room at noon without any problem even though the time to arrive wasn't before 2 p.m., the room had just been cleaned!!!! The stay was looking good but...

Very expensive for the dilapidated state of the place! From the bedroom to the bathroom, everything is old and not in very good condition. Only the breakfast is pretty good. A bit complicated to park for those who arrive late.

I had trouble falling asleep. Guests were noisy after 10pm. There are 2 outdoor areas in front of the room I was in. Even when speaking softly, you can hear everything in the room. Poorly soundproofed hotel

Hotel well located a stone's throw from the beach, but family room and independent from the main building in the dark back, without a view, very humid. And a very long time!!! during their phone call while standing in the garden on the low wall facing the entrance to the hotel, it is very embarrassing. Suggestion: Put up a small sign asking for discretion....
