A very nice hotel. A pleasant welcome. Excellent accessibility. Charging station for the car right outside the hotel. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff who put their guests first. The receptionist spoke Dutch, which was very helpful. The only downside was the shower. You have to step into the tub for that. There's a risk of slipping. Stepping over the edge of the tub is dangerous. The mattress was a bit hard. For me, a man of 1.96 meters, the bed was a bit short. The width of the bed was also a bit narrow for us.
The swimming pool during a heatwave and the air conditioning in the room are very appreciated. The bedding is quite comfortable. On the other hand, we had 2 connecting rooms for 4 people, but the bathroom is tiny for 4 people. The telephone in one of the rooms does not hang up, emitting the "busy" sound constantly (very annoying at night). The windows do not have curtains, fortunately there are roller shutters for the night. In general, the condition of our 2 rooms leaves something to be desired, we feel that the building is old. The presentation photos of the hotel make you want to stay there but in reality it is a little less pleasant.
Everything was perfect, thank you to the team for their welcome and professionalism. The quality and setting of the restaurant is a real plus.
The quality is notoriously high, with two minor flaws. The room was small for two people, and the internet connection was unsecured. Indeed, on the day of our departure, I noticed an attempted hack into my Facebook account using an internet connection from this establishment at around 10:50 p.m. while we were back home. This means that the hotel's internet connection history should be "purged" daily to prevent any fraudulent connection attempts like the one we observed.
Very good stay in this hotel, the staff is very helpful. The room (PRM in my case) in the annex is spacious and comfortable, but close to the main building with a parking space nearby. Which is very appreciable. We enjoyed the restaurant, gourmet but reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.

Accessible and neat hotel. Very friendly staff (three languages and think along with you) and there is a lot of information/brochures available in the hotel about the area. The place La Coquille itself is nice to visit. Beautiful surroundings, many galleries, shops and a supermarket literally around the corner from the hotel. Arrival by train is also possible, the station is within walking distance. Absolutely recommended and worth repeating.
Welcoming hotel, in the Logis tradition. The restaurant offers excellent dishes. The swimming pool is a plus during hot weather. A relaxing place, with no noise at night.

It was a very nice discovery I decided to go to New Year's Eve on a whim I found this address by typing New Year's Eve Dordogne on the internet Everything was perfect The place, the room, and especially the gourmet New Year's Eve The staff is adorable I think I'll go back for a longer stay And for a next New Year's Eve which was perfect

Great welcome, excellent restaurant. The old-fashioned room needs a refresh. Stayed in room 8, the mattress needs to be changed urgently and a bit of dust (2cm) on the chandelier. Too bad because everything else is great
The room in the guesthouse can't be called a hotel room. Quite old and outdated, dust on the cupboards and bathroom missing any forms of luxury.

Bedroom needed an update- decor very shabby and bathroom floor needed replacing as damaged by water. Toilet seat cracked. However good quality clean bedlinen, excellent shower, good hairdryer and the air conditioning worked well in very high temperatures.
The hotel was a very good three star and we enjoyed our stay!
Spacious room overlooking the garden, therefore very quiet. Very comfortable 160 bed. Air conditioning and swimming pool appreciated during periods of high heat. Parking within the hotel grounds. Availability of the team and a big thank you in particular to Marie for her sense of service and her kindness.
Room booked the day before (No. 16) placed in the annex, when we entered we were surprised by the strong musty smell; we opened it during dinner, when we returned to bed we noticed mold on the furniture, lampshades in the bedroom, door on the bathroom side, etc. We had to sleep with the window open. We were able to see that this room was unsanitary; the latter being also a disabled room I think it would be inappropriate to leave it for rent!!!

Hotel in the village. Old fashioned, but of quality and with pool in the garden. The hotel has an English touch, and one of the team members spoke Dutch. Dinner is splendid and of high quality, something you should definitely consider when you are visiting. It really got me by surprise, you do not expect this when you walk into the hotel. Almost worth a Michelin star, if you ask me. Breakfast is great and served at the table. Room was clean and the bed was good.
Excellent restaurant. Ideal and convenient location for me on the Chemin de Vezelay for a night. Plentiful continental breakfast and coffee.
