The place is wionderful. The only criticism I have is the WiFi in the room we had did not work. But it did not impact our stay at all.
Want a change for Christmas……. We chose this hotel near Saumur for its relaxing setting and the proximity to our New Year's Eve location.

Hotel restaurant ideally located for a moment of rest or to discover the region. The staff is very good and the atmosphere is perfect. Just a small flat on the bathroom which compared to the bedroom is a bit small for two people.
The hotel advertises its view of Saumur and a pool, so it's heavily frequented. The interior is very dark/black and the design is probably intended to appeal to guests from England. Our superior room was very small in comparison, you can just walk around the bed. Very dark and not so clean. Only the bathroom was nicely renovated and there was a newer, more comfortable bed in it. Unfortunately we couldn't use the terrace (too hot) because the parasol on the south side was broken. Furthermore, we had two air conditioners next to the terrace which caused constant noise in the room. A room alternative (superior room), whose toilet ventilation was almost even louder, was unfortunately not an option either. We also had kitchen smells in the toilet. Dinner takes place on the terrace weather permitting and you can glimpse Saumur in the distance. The menu sequence is not very varied and the prices do not match the food offered. The quality was just about acceptable. The service is friendly, sometimes slightly overwhelmed. Cutlery and glasses were not clean with us. For us an unpleasant stay with a price/performance ratio that left a lot to be desired.
Very bad experience! A hotel where you can't sleep! Very poor soundproofing, you can hear people talking, all the noise from guests in the rooms. In addition, there was a musical evening, and of course the music kept us awake.. we have never had such an experience at Logis.. a disaster, your classification is not in line with reality! Elegant is not suitable at all! We were exhausted, sleepless to pay a bill that was far too high. Never again ! We will communicate about this horrible experience
JUST downside, 1:30 wait for 2 dishes for the evening dinner.
Everything was perfect, except that at dinner - which we wanted to eat early (we had booked at 7 p.m.) we had to wait more than an hour between the starter and the main malt. Unacceptable... So we finished dinner too late and slept badly. It ruined our stay.

Very well located, outside the city, but all the places of Saumurois are easily accessible.
