We have been to this hotel several times en route from London to the Périgord as it offers a comfortable bed for the night and good dinners and breakfast.
Very well located hotel in the center of Vaas. A perfect welcome, a very good meal in the restaurant with a particularly friendly and attentive head waiter. I recommend without reservation.
Poor dated hotel and expensive for what you get
I had already stayed here in 2018, since then it has changed ownership and the overall quality has improved even more. Friendly and kind welcome, cleanliness, comfort, good breakfast, excellent restaurant with excellent dishes also well presented and also a convenient private parking at the back... what more could you want? 👍👍👍

This hotel is very conveniently located for journeys to and from the ferries at Ouistram. It is in a pleasant little village five minutes from the A28 motorway between Le Mans and Tours and has private parking. We stayed on our outward and return journeys and received very friendly welcomes. Our dinners, on both occasions, were excellent.

Good restaurant food and breakfast
A clean and enjoyable place to stay. The only thing people may miss is air conditioning (in room 14). The service as well as the reception is "convivial", friendly and efficient. The food for dinner was very good, fresh and tasty. The breakfast is honest and has some choice of cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruits, cereals and breads: worth the price. I would definitely return!
Booked online the same day and when we arrived the hotel and restaurant were closed. No one on reception. Did eventually get someone to come after numerous calls and were going to cancel and go elsewhere but as we’d booked via the Logis link direct, the individual hotel couldn’t over ride.
Room was perfectly adequate, almost brand new and super clean and the breakfast was very good. It was a Sunday and everything in the village was closed

A stopover before the 24 hours of Le Mans, a very practical, charming little village
They charge for arriving early, they charge extra for milk in coffee....that is the style. Wifi unecessarily complicated. It is a good hotel if you understand the purpose of your presence is to serve them with money rather than them to serve you with hospitality!

No hot water in January, not great. The towel dryer did not work. The hair dryer was only present, impossible to use.

We booked one night, unfortunately my wife tested positive for Covid. We wanted to cancel our reservation by explaining the cancellation situation refused! We are very disappointed and surprised by this lack of understanding, but also to know that this establishment was ready to receive us, even though we are most likely contagious.

I was charged for a stay that I didn’t get confirmation for. I used the Logis app but the hotel did not show up on my account and I did not get any confirmation email at all. When this happens you assume there was a problem and the booking had not been excepted, to clarify that I tried to book again but the app told me the accommodation was no longer available. I thought somebody had been booking same time as me and got the last room. I’m not sure whose fault this was but I’m the one who suffered the financial loss on my credit card. I’m sure the property owner is a reasonable person but I had no receipt and no way of contacting them to check. The app is in French and unfortunately my French is limited to a few words.

The shutters were so effective we overslept thinking it was still dark. Some experimentation revealed a setting which allowed some light through

We stayed here for one night. The room was clean and very comfortable and modern. Breakfast was very generous with a variety of cereals, pastries, fruit and yoghurts. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Wonderful service and an elegant ambience, with all the food presented wonderfully.

This hotel is out to make money - advertise menu for 17€ BUT only available at lunch time ! Had evening meal but meat was very tough and my wife could not eat it. Told waitress who told chef - but nothing back . Told manager and he said I was wrong - he did not eat my meal so do not know how he could say that - very disappointing ☹️

Good, very large triple room, hearty breakfast, unfortunately the noise from the road very close to our upstairs room, and a little refreshment at the level of the bathroom tub, it doesn't clean the traces of mold around the bathtub and the joint that is coming off.

Good Logis. Expected a restaurant meal but on arrival informed that there was no restaurant that evening as there was a musical mid-summer festival on in the square instead. However, a meal of meats and cheese etc was provided. Enjoyed the evening immensely. Friendly staff and owners.

Excellent sign. All services correspond to the advertised description. When we have to stay in Vaas, this is the hotel we choose.
The restaurant under construction and therefore not operational. The least you could do would be to warn beforehand.
Staff throughout our stay were so friendly and helpful. We are in the restaurant and the good and service were excellent and breakfast first class. Good to have private parking at rear of hotel. We would certainly stay here again.
