The hotel is very well located, on the edge of the main road but a little set back and the rooms are well soundproofed, large with a small balcony and a large shower. Very good, well-stocked breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant was perfect with very good local products. We will return with pleasure.

Undeniably a very good establishment, comfortable, well equipped and very welcoming. First of all, the rooms, because of course what we expect above all from a hotel is to have a good night's sleep. I was not disappointed: the bed is large and comfortable, the room spacious and bright, there is a small balcony with table and chair, and the air conditioning works wonderfully! There is of course a well-equipped bathroom, with a sophisticated shower... in short, very good on that side. Then the restaurant: really a step above what I'm used to seeing, both in terms of presentation and taste quality. Small downside: no draft beer... but there are bottles The hotel also has a spa, a jacuzzi, a mini golf course, a tennis court,... which I did not have the pleasure of use while passing through for the night, but it deserves to be mentioned! Finally, the welcome and the service are perfect. I remember the address!

Very pleasant hotel. Small swimming pool available outside, very clean and pleasant rooms, perfect restaurant with very good cuisine. Good and varied breakfast. On-site outdoor parking. Attention Tesla owners, paid charging for people who come by "Destination Charger", but very convenient considering that there is no supercharger around.

Ras, consistent with the description, very welcome. Only downside, the spa is only accessible in high season, unfortunately not indicated in the reservation by the Logis Hotels site... and it was a criterion for choosing the establishment for our stay... but clearly indicated on the direct site of the hotel if we book directly on it, which is not our case. Very beautiful region!

Ideal for a stopover
The Tropicana, located along the RN 21, is ideally located in Douville, between Périgueux and Bergerac. The hotel's parking area is easily accessible and convenient, close to the rooms. Having chosen a room whose bathroom was equipped with a "balneo" bathtub, we noted with annoyance that half of the outlets for the water jets were inoperative. Having reported this problem to the hotel management (as well as a water leak at the bathtub faucet), no solution was provided during our stay. Efforts are needed to maintain the plumbing (and to replace an "asthmatic" hair dryer). Moreover, if on the whole the breakfast is correct, no surprises during the whole week of stay, the products offered remaining unchanged (and sparingly measured concerning the small saucer of cold cuts and inexpensive cheese)...

Lovely hotel, amazing food, super staff. We were made very welcome & everything was perfect, beyond our expectations. Grandparent with 4 year old granddaughter, they were so nice an welcoming we loved it there.
This hotel is well equipped on the exterior level and despite being on a busy road we did not hear the road. It is well maintained, even if some equipment is aging The staff is very warm and welcoming
old-fashioned dining room, beautiful spacious bedroom and bathroom, very clean, very welcoming staff. At the level of the restaurant, it is a bit expensive. Hearty breakfast.
Equipment, location and staff at the top.
Lovely staff, extremely helpful, we stayed for 5 nights in a very clean large triple room with super quiet air con. Our room had double doors onto a small patio with seating outside, the electric shutters were great at keeping the room secure and cool when we went out. The parking was easily accessible and we found the hotel to be very dog friendly with large garden and grounds at the rear. The bar/restaurant is comfortable, the decor may be a little dated but the atmosphere and staff more than made up for that, they were very welcoming, it’s great for families too with crazy golf and a wee outside bowling game. It’s quiet despite being close to a road, with good access to Vergt and Perigueux but you definitely need a car. The on-site pool/spa is small but fine and you can get a pass which allows you to use the large swimming pool at the camping park a few minutes walk away. It has everything you need for a great stay, will return and would highly recommend, extremely good value for money.
