A view facing the lighthouse at the end of the world at this price...
On the plus side, the bed is large, the sea view is nice, and the hotel is well located. However, the hotel is very outdated, poorly soundproofed, and the rooms are small and cluttered with bulky plastic chairs. There's no room to move around or put down your luggage. And don't even get me started on the bathroom: the grout around the bathtub and on the floor is moldy, there's a lot of dust, and the corridors resemble those of a nursing home or clinic with their rubber strips. The curtains are dirty, have holes, and aren't even at the same height. The pool hours are 9 am to 12 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm, and why not all day? It's impossible to have any peace and quiet because children from outside the hotel are given lessons there. Breakfast is very mediocre: no cottage cheese, only dried-out ham and sausage—not exactly appetizing. There are no scrambled eggs, and the room still feels old and undecorated, not to mention the damp patches on the walls. The reception was poorly organized; the room on the first floor was cleaned last. They shouldn't tell guests there was a possibility of getting the room earlier because it wasn't true, given that the organization should always be the same. Furthermore, at 5:30 PM, the room hadn't been cleaned—at least not the dust, nor the black handprints on the doors. It was truly filthy. There was no explanation of where breakfast was for the next day, nor the operation and opening hours of the spa and pool. An information sheet explaining these things was missing from the room, and the phone for calling reception was impossible to use. Not to mention the mini-bar, which is essentially an empty refrigerator taking up a lot of space, not even a carafe of tap water. I do not recommend this hotel, which has great potential but is very poorly managed.

The hotel was very good, and the welcome was perfect. We had a pleasant two-day stay. One small drawback: we had a bathtub in the bathroom, but the shower hose was far too stiff to stay upright. We had to hold it in our hands. The parking lot wasn't very wide for maneuvering.
Incredible stay, perfect welcome, the room and the atmosphere were indescribable, it was magnificent. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the water area was super nice with the heated pool. Everything was perfect, I recommend it 200%!

I'm giving it a slightly harsh rating due to a problem with the shower hose, which is far too short, forcing you to bend down to shower. Not great...
It was cold in the room despite the air conditioning being set to 24 degrees Celsius; we should have been too hot, but that wasn't the case at all. It's a shame, though, because the view from our room was lovely.
Clean room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and toilet. The only slight drawback was a minor issue with the shower drainage; when you flush the toilet, a little water backs up into the shower. The breakfast was very generous. And the staff were very pleasant.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. We spent four nights there. The welcome was warm, the sea view lovely, and there were some great walks to enjoy. The rooms were quite comfortable! Just a small improvement could be made to the breakfasts in terms of quality, especially the pastries. The spa area was very enjoyable. We will return when the weather is a bit warmer.

The hotel is well located, okay, but the cleanliness and decor of the room were reminiscent of a retirement home. For a 3-star hotel, and as someone who travels a lot, I've seen better in 3-star hotels and even unrated ones. I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend it. It's a shame, as the hostess is friendly and smiling. The decor and disinfection methods need improvement, as the room smells much better than a hospital. Very, very disappointed and expensive for this room.

The room was dirty, the air conditioning was broken, the ventilation system was clogged, and there were signs of dampness all over the bathroom. The bedside lamp on the right was out of order. The reception was deplorable. There was no explanation whatsoever about the so-called gym and indoor pool advertised on Booking.com. We were so disappointed, especially since the room wasn't cheap, not to mention the sea view was completely blocked by trees – so there was no sea view at all. False advertising!

The bathroom was dirty and unusable. I had booked a room at this hotel from August 22nd to 24th (2 nights). Unfortunately, due to a breakdown of my vehicle on the highway, I was unable to get to La Rochelle. I was not reimbursed for anything despite the assurances of the hotel, which I contacted immediately. I therefore cannot recommend an establishment with such poor business sense.

We didn't sleep a wink of sleep because the networks vibrated every 2 minutes. The night staff, after our first call to report the problem, didn't respond to subsequent calls or text messages. Only the receptionist tried to understand the situation the next morning.

Hôtel was excellently located and the staff were friendly and breakfast was great with lots of choice. Decor was very dated but didn’t matter too much as the property was clean. The pool rails needed a clean and maybe could have done with a bar but apart from that we had a great stay!

Very uncomfortable bedding, I spent two nights sleeping very badly (mattress + cushions), poorly insulated rooms, traces of mold in the bathroom, there was a piece of camping bracelet on the floor in the room. As for the swimming pool, very cold water, only 5 or 6 deckchairs for the whole hotel, a parasol that is half standing and threatens to fall on us with every gust of wind. Great hotel. Very well located near the center of La Rochelle. Too bad the spa was being renovated. Small downside about the breakfast room: too small and the armchairs are too bulky.

Very nice welcome upon arrival but average upon departure. Rushed departure at 11:45 a.m. following the demands of the receptionist who had gone up to our room to ask for the keys while we were getting ready. Bath towels changed following our request, otherwise this was not the case. Other than that, good quality/price.

Good evening, The photos do not correspond at all to what I found on site. I learned upon arrival that you have to pay 10 euros per person for the indoor pool each day, while on booking it is offered with the room plus the gym equipment is aging and people from outside the hotel come to do sports at the same time as the hotel guests. Hotel needs to be renovated for the decor which is very very aging. Room ok but bathroom needs to be completely overhauled Location of the hotel perfect in relation to the city center.

The room was not clean and there was a charge for parking (€10 per night!!!) or street parking. Contrary to what BOOKING advertised. The hotel's free parking only has 5 spaces. So, of course, it was full when we arrived.
