Logis Hôtel le Relais Saint Michel

De family (nr 28) die wij hadden is in een oude gang. Aan het begin zit een lichtknopje maar niet naast de kamerdeur dus de kamer uit, loop je en een donkere gang. Bedden waren prima, beddengoed was goed. The bathroom was also in danger: the floor plates, damaged water, shower heads hang in the bad place where you shower, or you may have left the stokoude radiator. Dit is allemaal echt aan vervanging toe. Ontbijt was goed (met hele lekkere croissants en perfecte jam), avondeten in the restaurant here. It's not too bad for kids to grow up and it's easy to get to the car. Prijs-kwaliteit al met al een zeven.

The rooms were just renovated, so they were modern, beautiful and clean.
There was a swimming-pool, so we were glad to take a dive into it after our 6 hours trip to get there.

The restaurant had a terrace, it was very nice to dine outside and see the sun getting down.
The food was really delicious, it looked good and tasted as well>

hotel word gerenoveerd , dit is zeer postief ! oude kamer zijn zeer gedateerd , maar de nieuwe zien er perfect uit. de demaes doen zeer hun best om het het hotel met alles erom heen goed aan te pakken .
zoals het er nu uit ziet, gaat dit zeker lukken , met nu wat ongemak tijdens de renovatie.
eten in het restaurat was zeer goed, wij hebben genoten.
komen hier zeker terug, ik wil zien wat ze ervan maken, zijn over drie maanden terug om het vervolg te zien.

This is the 2nd time we have stopped to spend a night. We hope that next time the work will be completed. Very warm welcome as well as the catering service.

The rooms were oke but the restaurant was very good.

De ontvangst was erg vriendelijk. De keuken is goed. Alleen en dat is normaal zijn er momenteel verbouwingswerkzaamheden aan de gang die natuurlijk ongemak met zich mee brengen.

It's in a very good location for a stopover and although our room was a little tired, the food and service were both excellent.

It has been under renovation for a year now, but the rooms they offer for the price are disastrous. No water from sink and shower tap broken and absolutely not clean.

Small room but sufficient for a night's stopover (we were offered a larger one at an additional cost of €20). Hotel under construction but that didn't bother us. Varied and sufficient breakfast.

We chose the Relais St Michel for - the location of the hotel - the reputation of Logis Hôtels - the fact that the hotel offers catering in the evening upon arrival during our visit. Note that the St Michel relay is under construction for renovation. We chose the old rooms side, which explains our rating concerning the room and the bathroom which remain correct. We were offered the new rooms, much more modern, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It will be for next time . We also appreciated the welcome and kindness of the owners and their staff. Thanks to them. There is no doubt that we will stop there again for a night during our passage to the South and/or our return to the North.

Although the hotel is renovating, the rooms we stayed in were old and outdated with poor facilities.
The fact that the receptionist direct on arrival told us “the restaurant is full” with no flexibility at all to offer a meal (not even in the lobby or in the hotel room), is a lack of service and hospitality.

Old and small rooms

Hotel wordt gerenoveerd. Daardoor modderig, rommelig in ongezellige ambiance. Veel achterstallig onderhoud in eleven chambers. Douchekop kon neet opgehangen wordsen, kitranden lekten waardoor na het douchen een een large plas water in eleven chambers, maar 1 stopcontact beschikbaar enz. The last time it was frozen and yesterday it was all ok. The restaurant has its first menu's, which we have already ordered.

Was a little disappointed that we weren’t told about the extensive building work that was going on.

As the hotel is under construction, we would have liked to have been informed so that we could make an informed decision!

Wegens grote verbouwing van de accommodatie was het een rommeltje in en buiten het hotel.
De kamers waren erg klein en met name de badkamer was in erg beroerde toestand: slechte hygiëne-erg klein-nauwelijks water uit de kraan ( veel te weinig druk)

Very very good

Hotel in transformation which means that the current rooms are small and relatively simple but the price was adapted to this situation. The restaurant, on the contrary, was very good with charm and a well-developed and very good menu, as well as the recommended wine accompanying the dishes well. Very friendly staff like the setting.

Hello, I spent one night at the hotel where I found a dilapidated and dirty room. Blood or wine on the duvet cover that is turned inside out. Holes in the mattress cover, curtains. Dust in a mess under the bed, the Vmc, the heating...ect. bathroom lighting that works half-way. I am allergic to dust mites and when I woke up I had a lot of pimples on my body. I reported all this with a supporting photo to the person at reception who replied ''I'm only temporary, I can't do anything. The boss is traveling and will call you back. No returns at this time.

Very accessible location, friendly staff and superb evening meal. A dip in their large outdoor pool was welcome after a long hot drive from Provence I would stay here again.

Only one small negative point to note: the shower room and toilet did not work properly. But the establishment is under renovation and we will return there again.

The hotel is under renovation. Still a strong smell could be experienced in the hall and the rooms. Even though non smoking still tobacco could be smelled.
The food in the restaurant is great. Pitty they closed the pool at arrival time 4 pm?

The room was adequate but no coffee making facilities...
The toilet was faulty and didn't flush in the night. There was no air con but we were kindly given an electric fan on request.
The restaurant food was very good but not much choice for a vegetarian. The breakfast had no fat free yogurts or fromage frais. Or fresh fruit..the choice of food was limited..I would have been happy to pay more for a more healthy breakfast.

The room is very (too) small, the furniture is old and there are many bloodstains on the walls and ceiling of smashed mosquitos. The light in the bathroom did not work and the toilet seat didn't stay up. The building is very old and noisy

Although the hotel is being transformed with a spa center and enlarged rooms in the future, everything necessary is provided with a friendly welcome.

Hotel is outdated, no airconditioning in the room. Rooms where very hot and no cooling or whatsoever. The lady at the front desk was really nice and we felt really welcome. Little swimming pool was nice, food at dinner was excellent, breakfast was also good!

Staff and common facilities are very good. A pretty, very welcoming cottage with a terrace and a swimming pool. The location is very quiet and pleasant. The disappointing thing is the room, very small, poorly insulated both acoustically and thermally in a motel-style building. Without air conditioning, the night was spent with the window open and we were invaded by insects of all kinds. Luckily, breakfast made it possible to forget about the night and the loud argument of disgruntled customers about other customers who were too loud for their liking.

Personalized welcome, Hello Mr Detienne, on our arrival We had warned that we were blocked on the highway and that we would arrive around 6:30 p.m. for the restaurant, it was a surprise for the quality of the meal and the friendliness of the staff because we were accompanied by a small dog and it was not a problem, we will return there in 2024.

Booked as an overnight hotel on return journey from Spain. Friendly hostess, just swimming pool. However, the hotel rooms are very dated and do not look fresh, upon entering the room you can first knock down all mosquitoes (because the window was open and had no screen). Rooms smelled musty.

Mooi gelegen zo weer op de snelweg Kamers erg klein

Dit was onze derde keer dat we naar dit hotel gingen, omdat we de afgelopen keren heel erg hebben genoten. Deze keer werd ons bedorven wijn geserveerd, kwam er een enorme stank uit het toilet en waren er geen voorzieningen zoals shampoo. Jammer!

Hotel room too small

Rooms and bathroom are small but match the cheap price. Dated bathroom, people desire more for a walk-in shower and shower curtain out of the question. Fly window could help the problem of mosquitoes a lot. However, there is an electric mosquito repellent in the room, but I think that the mosquitoes come from the ventilation system of the bathroom, this ventilation system certainly needs a thorough maintenance. Does not meet hygiene standards. Although otherwise the rooms are clean and tidy with a good bed. Major works are planned, perhaps these comments will be taken into account because the staff really does their best to provide good services. Except for one, a waiter who is a bit too nervous and didn't always make the effort not to show this. The food was tasty and the French breakfast sufficient and regularly replenished so that latecomers will not be short of anything and this under the guidance of a pleasant charming lady.

Very nice place! Beds are super comfortable and clean. The exclusive swimming pool is a massive plus. Clean and quite, I slept like a stone. Comfortable and wide parking area. Definitely recommended

We Bin here tree times but the reasen to come back is the nice parking space and the restaurant. The hotel accomodation is old and not comfortabele. When using toilet you need to put your feet in the shower. Also there is no airconditioning. Time for a change.

Everything has been done to make you feel good: very well appointed room, kindness of the staff who take great care of the "old people".

Room is small but clean and therefore good value for money. The rooms are all in the annex, so not in the restaurant which can be seen in the photos. I also recommend keeping the windows closed, the traffic causes some noise pollution. With the windows closed you won't be bothered by that.

We zijn hier terecht gekomen ivm autopech. Het hotel heeft ons op alle mogelijke manieren geholpen. We hebben er heerlijk gegeten.

Although listed as a "Hotel" it is really a Motel and found the room quite small. However, this is reflected in the price, which was very reasonable. The restaurant and the breakfast on the other hand were excellent and not expensive.

Perfect people with passion

Hotel very well located between Dijon and Langres near the road but perfectly soundproofed. A large car park allows you to park without problems. The wifi works very well and the bedding is comfortable. All for a more than reasonable price for both hotel and restaurant. Very satisfied with our stay.

Relais Saint Michel gives a very good value for money. It is well situated at the RN74 and has plenty of parking space. The swimmingpool is a an absolute plus. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves a nice diner for a very nice price.

Just one point of criticism; There is no reason to turn on the television during breakfast. People come to eat, not to watch television; personally I found it distracting and annoying.

Good stay, small room but correct and clean. Small shower with curtains and sink. WC. In the room not enough hooks to hang swimsuits and towels. The hotel is just a few kilometers from the A31 motorway. The rooms are in a neighboring building. Very noisy - every movement in the hallway clearly audible. We had a vs. the other rooms a much larger one. Renovated, large, little comfort. Great dinner with friendly service. Didn't like: At the end of July there were a lot of mosquitoes on the restaurant terrace and in the room.

This was an absolutely excellent stay, great service and accommodation, welcoming staff, optimal value for money. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service friendly and effective. One of the best place for an overnight or even a longer stay. We'll be back.
