The hotel's 16 rooms are comfortable and authentic, spacious and bright, and feature elegant, well-cared-for decor, where touches of wood and soft colours create a soothing ambience, perfectly in tune with the spirit of the region. They feature air conditioning, top-of-the-range bedding, TV and a desk area to meet guests' needs. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, allowing guests to stay connected. The bathrooms are also well-equipped, with high-quality linen and toiletries. The hotel also has 3 unusual accommodations available all year round: authentic gypsy caravans with all the comforts of a hotel room, set in a quiet wooded park.
The hotel's restaurant, listed in the regional Gault et Millau, offers an interesting taste experience, with its cuisine combining tradition and originality, using seasonal produce. The menu features local and regional products, as well as a few touches of the North, where owners Domitille and Jérôme are from. They have created their signature dish: a braised chuck made with local beer and endives with Maroilles cheese, and also to honour the Facteur Cheval: the consommé du facteur Cheval with black garlic ravioli and poplar pholiotes. The dishes are seductive in their authenticity and quality.
Breakfast is a convivial occasion, with a generous buffet of fresh local produce and quality pastries to get the day off to a good start. For a professional on the road, the overnight stay is very suitable.
Beautiful place, charming room, very friendly staff and top restaurant
Very good! However, there is a small problem that may be just ours 😉: access is complicated at night; once you finally find the hotel entrance - perhaps there is a missing explanatory sign? - the landing above the stairs remains lit for very short periods, making it difficult to enter the code if you don't have a torch. A friendly house
Located in a lively village (Palace of the Postman Cheval), this hotel won us over with our family room and especially with its food: excellent! Very friendly manager, as well as the staff. That says it all 👍
