Excellent stay in Fontenay-le-comte
For the first time in my life, I give a hotel 10/10! Everything was perfect, from the covered parking where there is a free charging station, to the spacious room, very well equipped (only downside, the lighting is not great for shaving) with a large screen TV and Canal Plus, Euro and Bein Sport channels included! The hotel's decor is sophisticated, the restaurant is spacious and well-glazed, surrounded by a well-maintained garden, the cuisine is varied and refined with very good value for money, the spa has a sauna, a relaxation room, a gym and a sensory shower, all free. I recommend the massages carried out by a quality professional. Then there are the staff. Whether in the room, the restaurant or the reception, it's a competition to see who will be the friendliest, the most smiling and the kindest. In this little game, the receptionists on the day of departure were beyond all our expectations. It is with great pleasure that I thank this entire team (and everything is super clean)
Ideal when going to the circuit at 5 min by car. Free parking, large pool, efficient air conditioning, very nice welcome especially since I was arriving late. Very nice quiet and quiet location. The breakfast could be improved with more vegetables, more eggs and non dairy milk however without that it is already good.

We were travelling down from St Malo to Bergerac and wanted a midway point to stay. We were delighted with the hotel, the food was incredible and the hotel very clean and welcoming.
The town of Fontenay de Comte was a bit disappointing but the hotel definitely was not.
This is great hotel made to feel very welcome on arrival by the receptionist and Frederick. Took our bikes to a safe garage for overnight storage. Room was great with everything we needed including a kettle. Great shower afterca hot days cycling and then relaxed by the pool.
Restaurant was also great the food was amazing and the staff all very young and hard working and attentive they arexa credit to your hotel.

Pleasant
The room was okay but aging, lots of scratches on the shelves (next to the TV and in the bathroom) the walk-in shower tray is yellowed by time, the joints are worn the shower tiles give a room effect. On the ceiling there was a completely missing piece of ceiling, part of which was wedged with corks and the bathroom door did not want to stay closed. As for the bed we had to redo it before going to bed, the cover did not stay on the mattress, moreover it was much too soft. We only had one extra pillow in the closet, which I left for my husband. The air conditioning in the room was set to 23 ° which is way too hot for sleeping. Apart from that the restaurant was perfect and the spa very pleasant even if for me the massage was too light in terms of support.

Very good stay, pleasant hotel and friendly and welcoming staff
Welcoming and efficient staff. Enjoy the terrace room with access to the garden. We always eat in the evening at the restaurant and enjoy the security of the garage facility. The rooms are becoming a little tired and could do with some attention. There is a kettle for drinks but only 2 sachets of coffee/tea are left and no milk. Only 1 bottle of water left also. The towels also are a little shabby.
Excellent stopover, the rooms are well appointed, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant offers high quality local cuisine for reasonable prices. The wine list is well thought out with a nice selection of Vendée wines that I recommend. In short, a pleasant stopover that makes you want to come back. Thanks to the manager and the team.
