At the water's edge, a little cocoon, with all the comfort necessary for a pleasant stay.

Top from start to finish. A spacious room, absolutely ideal bedding, all the comforts were present. And what can we say about the meal!!!! A real marvel. Would have expected someone to be at the hotel instead of just retrieving the key ourselves from a box.
Having booked and paid we were then told on our way there that the restaurant was closed on Mondays (the day we arrived) so had to find somewhere to eat... not happy about that.
Only saw 1 person to do with the hotel and would not class or as friendly at all.
No milk in the room and only 1 coffee!!

A lovely old renovate mill in a country setting.
Although near a road junction, the rooms were facing the mill pond , stream and open country side.
So noise wasn’t a problem.The hotel had been recently flooded and repairs were still on going.
The room was ‘compact ‘ but tastefully furnished with a lovely view over the lake.
The hosts were friendly and spoke English.We wanted to claim our ETIK points in the morning, having forgotten the previous evening when we paid, but there was no one there and we had to leave, so had to contact Logis for help with this.
Restaurant ambience service and food were excellent.
Great welcome, great setting, very quiet despite the axis on which it is located (Marennes - Royan). Stone wall, old windows preserved, the building is not distorted and has remained in its style externally.
Very pretty, wonderfully well decorated house in which you feel very good, like staying with friends.
This is a charming hotel serving exceptionally good food. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is excellent.
A nugget! To be consumed without moderation, the value for money is excellent for both the hotel and the restaurant. A rare level of service for a 3 star with the added human quality of the welcome. The setting is magical, the proximity to the road is not a disadvantage, no noise pollution. Thank you for this moment.

As I booked the hotel through Logis, I used the Logis website as a source of information about the hotel. Unfortunately there was a lot of information missing from the Logis website such as the fact that check-in is not available until 5.30pm and the opening hours of the restaurant. Also the Logis website indicates that the languages available are French and English when in fact that is not the case. So we certainly did not receive the warm welcome we expected on arrival. Rather we were met by a deserted hotel with a note pinned on a door and a number to call. Quite disappointing as the hotel building and rooms are quite nice.
A very good surprise on all levels. Impeccable staff and service. Good advice and a very friendly approach. Beautiful room with very relaxing view Catering, it's been a long time since we shared such a good time in front of such good dishes. We will come back to this.
