A very professional and friendly welcome. A very convivial hotel. In the evening, everyone gathers around a table for an aperitif and a communal table for dinner, without mobile phones – genuine interaction, truly an experience to be had.
About ten of us were invited to an aperitif hosted by David, the owner, followed by a communal dinner. We all had a lovely evening filled with diverse and varied conversations related to our backgrounds, ages, and jobs—all very different from one another. An evening like this is the kind we wish we could experience more often! Thank you, David.
We received a very warm welcome, the setting was perfect, and the meals were absolutely delicious!
The welcome was great. I got a room outside the main building that was as I said, adequate. It is a very old hotel. The diner was very good. For one night is was overall good.
The atmosphere is always so pleasant. I return to the Moulin with the same pleasure, and each time I find exceptional comfort and a warm welcome!

A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting with impeccable service. A very relaxed atmosphere with the option to dine with other guests at large communal tables for those who wish. A unique experience that I would definitely repeat.
We found ourselves standing in front of closed doors and had to make a complicated phone call before reaching a staff member. They were, however, very nice and accommodating. It was a cross between a youth hostel and an adventure camp: half construction site, half shell! Breakfast for the next morning was already in the room's refrigerator when we arrived (!!), and the bread had been left outside the door around midnight (most likely leftovers from a neighboring restaurant where we had eaten earlier). There was no suitable table in the room where we could have had breakfast.

A very disappointing two-night stay. The reception was a disaster. No one was there; we had to call, even though we arrived at 5:30 PM, within the scheduled arrival time. The person who greeted us was also managing an appointment. The only thing she seemed interested in was payment... so I couldn't use my ETIK vouchers, which weren't yet online because I was traveling! If I had been able to pay upon departure, my vouchers would have been available! And to top it off, there was no one at reception at this hotel except during arrival hours! Even though we were told breakfast would be served in our room, it was the icing on the cake: two trays in the room and one shelf per day in the fridge of fresh products, and frankly... St. Moret cheese, one fruit juice, one plain yogurt, one fruit yogurt, one apple, and two small jars of jam. Then, starting at 6:30 a.m., a paper bag containing two small, undercooked, floury rolls, one tiny slice of cake, and one mini pastry was delivered to our door! And to top it off, the tray had two glasses and two mugs... and the mugs were too tall to fit under the coffee maker! Plus, the kettle and coffee maker weren't spotless, which is unacceptable. Also, a room for two with only one chair for breakfast. Note that there was no one continuously at reception. Furthermore, on Sunday morning, the room wasn't cleaned; only the breakfast tray was removed. The bathroom wasn't cleaned either.

A very pleasant night, in a well-appointed and very clean room. The meal was very good and very friendly.
Superb Logis, spacious room and David at the top
I specifically booked this hotel due to it's proximity to Calais and the fact that it had an onsite restaurant. We had driven 7 hours to get there and wanted to eat at the hotel's restaurant, relax and go to bed. When we arrived, no-one was there to greet us and I had to search out staff members for some time only to discover that the restaurant was closed all evening and that breakfast would be served in bags outside our door the following morning. I had called to book a table at the restaurant and emailed several times (all of which were ignored by the hotel). If I had known that the restaurant would be closed and that breakfast would consist of day old bread in a bag, then I never would have booked this place. Suffice to say that I never will book again. Extremely disappointing stay that left me feeling as though I had been deliberately ignored and conned into keeping my booking. Absolutely awful experience.

L'accueil n'était pas particulièrement chaleureux, mais plutôt indifférent. Le petit-déjeuner (que l'on doit prendre dans la chambre) peut être qualifié de frugal. Sinon, la chambre était immense, presque un appartement, l'hôtel charmant était un peu vieillot, mais cela n'était en aucun cas désagréable. Dans le village même, il n'y a qu'un petit magasin, mais pas de bar. L'hôtel lui-même était calme et silencieux, on pourrait presque dire fantomatique. Pour les voyageurs de passage, il y a apparemment un dîner du lundi au jeudi, mais nous n'en avons pas profité car nous sommes arrivés le vendredi. Dans l'ensemble, une expérience intéressante.

This very quaint hotel is located in a small town accessed via cobblestone and gravel roads with lots of potholes. The accommodations are very tidy and have a lot of charm thanks to the old walls and ceiling beams. However, it is said that the ceilings are not insulated at all, and we were woken up by our neighbors getting up. Dinner in the hotel's own restaurant was served in a very convivial atmosphere at a long table. The food, of which we had no choice, was simple but very tasty. Breakfast was only served in the room; spreads, yogurt, and fruit were in the refrigerator in the room, and fresh rolls were left outside the door early in the morning.

Het enige wat ik niet erg o.k. is het ontbijt: je moet op je kamer ontbijten + 's morgens staan er wat broodjes ( niet vers) voor je deur en plakken cake. Wij waren met 4 personen en wilden samen ontbijten ..... dus gedoe!
Voor het personeel lijkt het me ook makkelijker om een paar ontbijttafels naast de keuken op te ruimen dan van elke kamer een blad met restanten naar beneden te sjouwen!!!
En dan zou er ook een goed koffiezetapparaat kunnen staan ipv senseo of een apparaat met cupjes!
De kamers zijn fantastisch (niet geschikt voor mensen met gezondheids problemen) en het personeel + de chef/eigenaar ook!!!
Er is niet een echt restaurant aanwezig: het concept is één standaard menu en aan lange tafels aanschuiven; dit kan erg leuk zijn, maar als je pech hebt met lawaaimakers en/of grof volk, dan word je niet blij.
Het eten was verrukkelijk!!!
