Good hotel and restaurant for our stopover in the Hautes Alpes
An incredible welcome and service from the whole team
I came to La Grave for a mountain bike event and chose this hotel for its location, cozy atmosphere, and restaurant. Having tried it 3 nights in a row, I can confirm that the restaurant is indeed very, very good; I really enjoyed myself. The little DJ is also very attentive and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in the area.

Clean hotel, with many rooms, and welcoming, and very well located, to do the different passes in the surroundings and high-altitude peaks. Restaurant with a well-decorated room, dishes with varied choices and quality. Very good cuisine. The staff always attentive to their customers. We were able to recharge our electric vehicle every evening at no extra cost. We highly recommend this establishment and we will return.

The hotel and the village are a great location for hiking and exploring the area. Welcoming staff, a wonderful breakfast, and a tasty dinner. Nice views from the room (not large, but more than ok). Friendly atmosphere throughout the whole day. Bus stop nearby to get there from/to Grenoble or Briancon.

Small, cosy family hotel, on the roadside (prefer the rooms on the village side) and therefore very accessible. Warm welcome and service, a very pleasant peaceful atmosphere. The room was very comfortable, the bar area cocoon, and the dining room for breakfasts and meals is bright and welcoming. A small regret: that there are not more options for small hungers in the evening. We recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Nice surprise for this hotel. Comfortable room and excellent bedding. Simple decoration but which reminds us that we are in the mountains. Excellent breakfast with very fresh products. Possibility to have a drink at the bar and sofas available to recharge your batteries. TOP location for hiking lovers.
We had a relaxing and gourmet stopover in this accommodation. The food is very good, from dinner to breakfast. Fresh products and homemade food as we like. This establishment is very well run, in collaboration with top staff. Thank you for this moment.
Very nicely renovated hotel. Good beds. The restaurant is also recommended. There is a garage available for motorcycles.
To all hikers: do not hesitate for a second to subscribe to a few days at the Faranchin hotel. Magnificently located in the Ecrins park, it offers very comfortable rooms, a delicious half-board, the possibility of a picnic. The owners do not hesitate to recommend the routes according to the level requested. The icing on the cake is the quality/price ratio is very reasonable.

First time in this hotel, it was a surprise; there was nothing that was not excellent, from breakfast, to dinner, and above all the service, in my opinion truly quality.

Uncomplicated and pleasant stay with good value for money; very friendly staff; the hotel has been attractively renovated and has a great view of La Grave/La Meje. Clean and practically furnished room, with comfortable beds; extensive, very varied and very high-quality breakfast; possibility of having dinner is available and we took advantage of this; varied and high-quality menu selection. Sufficient parking spaces available and the internet worked perfectly. Definitely a recommendation!

Great place to be if you want to ski in La Grave
Between Grenoble and Briançon (originally high-Alpine)..., I never stopped at this establishment..., today I regret it. This establishment is worth a stop. The food is very good and the chef offers local products, and the accommodation is neat. It’s a very good experience to repeat.
