Very good first experience. Accustomed to bland hotels typed Booking.com, I had a great time and a very good short stay. Located in the middle of nowhere, this establishment is a real oasis. And the hospitality of the owners is worthy of the best. to renew without hesitation.

Very hospitable, also for dogs.

Welcome without warmth and above all without any help, I arrived alone with luggage and computer, no help from this gentleman who watches you struggling up the stairs

Really a nice place. Everything very clean and nicely furnished. We didn't eat there but it looked really good. The 4-bed room is really recommendable.

Difficult to comment much as the hotel and restaurant were closed for my visit. I was aware of this in advance so it is not a criticism just a statement. The rooms were booked at very short notice and did exactly what was promised.

A comfortable hotel, reminscent of the France I visited 30 years ago. Excellent food. Quiet and very convenient location - easy to find just off the autoroute and a short distance from Falaise / Argentan.

Charmless hotel, small room. We stayed there 2 nights. On the 2nd night, we were surprised to find that the room had not been made. The restaurant has a very good cellar.

Arrived at le Faisan Dore' Logis Hotel after a long drive from the Spanish border. Received a warm welcome from the owner, was shown to a comfortable room with a view of our car below.
That evening we ate from the Catherine menu and our request for a starter size of a main meal of Scallops was accommodated without problems.
We had one of the most delicious meals ever, together with a recommended bottle of red wine. Lovely ambience, service and food.
Our night was complete with an undisturbed comfortable night's sleep.
A filling breakfast completed our stay. A highly recommended hotel and restaurant.

Excellent access from the motorway and ferry port, for traveling on to Aude.

The restaurant was the Highlight Meal of our 23 night stay in France. The Chefs recommendations were superb and the food EXCELLENT. Enjoy your meal when you go there!! We will return.

We were made to feel very welcome…we had a small bedroom and would probably choose a slightly bigger room next time.

Si vous êtes un professionnel en soirée étape ne vous fiez pas au classement ou au site, vous aurez une chambre au 2° étage sans ascenseur (alors que l'hôtel est quai vide) si petite que vous devrez poussez le lit pour mettre votre valise entre le lit et le mur car vous ne pourrez la mettre ailleurs. Ensuite lorsque vous descendrez diner autre surprise, le restaurant avec les nappes en tissus, pas pour vous, Vous allez diner au bar sur une ridicule table haute de 50x50 dans les courant d'air et pour le petit dej, idem.
Messieurs les hôteliers qui proposez des soirées étapes, n'oubliez pas que les professionnels qui remplissent les hôtels la semaine, peuvent revenir le weekend en famille, sont la référence de leur entourage et leurs clients pour avoir une bonne adresse.
Pensez également que le professionnel qui dort chez vous c'est parce qu'il va voir ses clients dans votre secteur et comptez sur lui pour vous faire de la pub.
Merci de préciser que les soirées étapes ont un traitement différent que celui indiqué.

Goede gastheer, typisch Frans hotel. Wij waren op doorreis, leuke kamers met fijne bedden en een goede keuken.

Wonderful host (Philippe). Excellent restaurant. Very clean establishment. Snall but very comfortable room and bathhroom. Quiet.

We stayed for three nights. Perhaps two would have been better as the third night was a Sunday, when the restaurant is closed and there is almost NOWHERE to eat in or around Argentan on Sunday evening. The bedroom is fine for sleeping but not for spending any time : there's just one chair (plastic). There is no lounge or salon for guests. There IS a garden but the weather was bad all the time that we were there. The restaurant is very good with imaginative dishes but the wines are expensive. Some parts of the hotel need refreshing.

Nous avons passé quatre jours àl'hôtel et dîné au restaurant : parfait!
Tout y était : les plats combinaient couleurs (régal des yeux), senteurs et bien sûr le palais n'était pas oublié.... Accord vin - mets excellent (grâce aux conseils avisés et connaisseurs de Monsieur Coiffard). L'"hôtel est très bien situé dans une région au patrimoine riche.

Très bon accueil, Chambre sobre et de qualité, Repas d'étape excellent.
