Very warm welcome, very well located, very good food and large room, thank you.
Booked via Priceline and booked a triple room. Upon arrival told not true. Told only two could be in room. We went ahead and booked a second room for $120. Upon leaving noticed the hotel room/rate sheet at front door said our room was a triple and bed could be made from couch, and told oh no only for child. Window in room was faulty and would not close, but needed as double pane for noise. Bed incredibly comfortable and great location for a short stay. Near several wine tastings and restaurant looked amazing. Understand hotel is an old building and only as quiet as other guests make it.

Hello, first of all the hotel is stipulated air-conditioned, but the rooms are not, then not a fan, if on a table outside or you have to see it and take it ... In the evening stopover you will only be entitled to a main course, dessert or starter, for a full meal go your way, we eat well, but far from the ecstasy as announced. The atmosphere is strange, it does not speak much, whether in catering or at reception. For the forgotten breakfast the buffet has instead a sheet with your requirements but very limited, for the price of this one it is more than limited. The rooms are noisy, creaky floors, the decoration is old-fashioned. In short expensive for the services offered.
Not all staff are on the same page, particularly when it comes to customer relations.
We had a wonderful stay, everything was excellent the staff, the room with super view, the food and the service, second to none!
Extremely disappointed, we had reserved a table for lunch, we were very poorly received by a terrible waiter even though the food was good. Which ruined our lunch. Very dated rooms, it would be necessary to refresh the whole. Very unfortunate because it is quite expensive and yet it is an attractive region.

The welcome, the private terrace in front of the room and the view of the Loire more than compensate for a somewhat narrow room and a faulty TV. The catering is remarkable, from starter to dessert. All this justifies the slightly high prices... Overall, an excellent stay!

a shower would have been preferable to the rather slippery and therefore dangerous shower/bathtub. The two hours between our arrival at the restaurant and the serving of the dish seemed very long to us. the coffee served at breakfast cools too quickly in the non-thermostatic coffee maker.

The welcome is very good, however the table service is very average, we had a child who wanted to go to bed around 10 p.m. and we waited a long time for dessert after the waiter had finished clearing the tables, lack of professionalism.

Our stay at Le Coq Hardi was pleasant, we had a lovely balcony that we could just see the Loire from, over the trees.
At the bottom of the garden we were able to walk along the Loire (although it was the other side of trees, with viewing areas).
We ate on the terrace (although the waiter was unsure we wanted to do so as it would be cold in an hour - he had the same conversation with all diners which was quite entertaining!) Service was a bit slow and we had to have each course of the menu (we couldn't leave one out!) The food was nice, just felt a little 'old school' but nothing to complain about at all (not sure how often the menu changes) and we found it to be expensive.
Breakfast was good, however I didn't get the yoghurt which I had ordered when we arrived (we were asked for breakfast options when we checked in) and we noticed that all the tables of French guests received fruit, we were not offered this and simply got croissants and breads. Again nothing to complain about just not anything to speak well of.
The owner of the hotel seems to do everything, bless him, and we did feel sorry for him running around all the time, especially as he wasn't very young.
Was a nice stay again if we were in the area, but would look at other options too.

The stay was very pleasant and relaxing. It is also our second visit a few years ago. A cuisine of extreme finesse and made with local products, often from our beautiful Loire. Beautiful establishment well located in a pleasant setting on the banks of the Loire and close to the city center. Very warm welcome, the restaurant is excellent. We feel good in this place.
Very good gastronomy, the chef is excellent as usual (the snails with mushrooms as a starter, the perfect egg, the excellent stuffed guinea fowl..). You have to be indulgent when I see some comments, it becomes difficult to find staff especially to live around Pouilly sur Loire (after talking with the boss), yet a beautiful destination at the foot of the Loire. The hotel creates a change of scenery and rest. A big thank you for the welcome and the gastronomy.
you have to go there without hesitation, everything is perfect, but the most is the catering, so there, the chef will treat you, taste the, pike-perch quenelles with scallops, lobster ravioli, millefeuille with vanilla, it is worth the greatest tables, accompanied by a local wine of course, I will return as soon as possible, my enthusiastic wife, confirms it to me.
