It would have been helpful had the booking confirmation indicated that the hotel re-opens at 6pm, we would have delayed our arrival until then. Unfortunately we had to disturb Patricia from her afternoon siesta!
Secondly, there are inadequacies with the water system, all guests arriving at the same time, meant we could not get a hot shower before dinner. Also the toilet cistern was extremely slow to fill!! WI-FI in the room was non-existent, however I can live without that , but not a hot shower! Otherwise this stay would have received a 5 star review.

Muy mala atención al cliente. Bajábamos de Inglaterra con unos horarios que no nos permitían llwgar antes de las 23h, por el Eurotúnel y nos negaron el chek in a través de una nota de Booking...les enviamos un correo explicándonos y han tardado más de 24h en responder con un mensaje mecanizado, pidiendo la opinión sobre la estancia!!!...resultado?...nos quedamos en la calle y decidimos bajar conduciendo toda la noche por falta de alojamiento. Quality establishment well situated in a charming small village. Excellent food at the restaurant, quaint, quiet rooms. However, the owner/manager who greeted us upon arrival, served us in the restaurant, and managed our departure needs a serious change in attitude. She seemed overwhelmed, frustrated, and not focused on the client. We were shocked by some of the comments she made to us and the general attitude. It's unfortunate because so much else about the hotel is wonderful.

Le Cheval Blanc in Yvoy gave me a wonderful room and superb dinner. Breakfast was a bit meager compared to the dinner the previous evening. Overall a good experience and I would certainly return when next in the region.
