I agree with all the reviews, I had a great time thanks to the very friendly waiter and the owner.

Lack of heating, had to ask for a space heater... And the welcome was just like the heating: cold. I felt like I was bothering them.

The service is mixed, depending on the person! The waiter at mealtimes does his best. The owner may be very nice, but he doesn't show it! Very gruff.

Upon arrival, a courtyard welcomes my car. This courtyard is closed at night for security reasons. The receptionist is charming. She carries my suitcase to the room on the first floor (no elevator). She offers the same service upon departure. She will take care of me throughout my stay. The room has a cozy decor reminiscent of the stories of the Countess of Ségur. There is a coffee machine with two capsules. A suitcase rack accommodates my luggage. The lighting is satisfactory. The sink in the bathroom is original and its operation is curious. It takes a little time to get used to it. The only criticisms: there is only one seat in a room intended for two people and my computer did not recognize the hotel Wi-Fi. I had to use my smartphone as a modem. The divine surprise was dinner. The Mélusine menu at 49 EUR is a delight from start to finish. I had a guest, and we both chose the perfect egg on ginger-spiced tomato confit as a starter, the sage-studded veal hanger steak as a main course, and the orange-blossom rhubarb sticks as a dessert. The service added to the pleasure. Each dish was commented on by the waiter. A lot of time was spent advising my guest on her choice of white wine. It was worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The breakfast buffet lacked nothing in terms of sweet and savory dishes. The cheese accompanying my bread had a rustic, yet appropriately rich taste. My Earl Grey tea was served at the table. Perhaps, however, I would have preferred a larger cup.

The meal was an extraordinary culinary experience. The service was impeccable and the smiles were always there... pure bliss! We highly recommend this establishment.

Attracted by reviews of chef and restaurant and expectations of the highest quality of gastronomic experience were more than met. Totally excellent food and service in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. To be thoroughly recommended.

Lack of cleanliness

lousy breakfast: yogurts that had expired 8 days ago, I was told that soy milk yogurts were real milk, the two unfortunate croissants for my wife and me were dry, a single piece of cheese that didn't inspire confidence, a single slice of cold meats on the tray that I had seen the day before

Big gap between restaurant service (very good but a little expensive) and hotel (a little old).

The room is dated, but the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and modern. However, the restaurant is a bit too "elegant" for our standards, and the prices are those of a semi-gourmet restaurant.

A very friendly welcome and a lovely hotel with so many thoughtful touches. We have been disappointed on many occasions with the food in Logis hotels, but our evening meal here was FABULOUS!! We would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel but the highlight is the wonderful food in the restaurant - it is recognised by the Logis rating "table distnguee" but really should be recognised by others (eg Michelin)
