We had stayed before the change of ownership, and the room cleaning was subpar on our last visit (cobwebs with their occupants in the bathroom, a dead spider on the uncleaned wall, another cobweb in the room, black shower grout, and a stained sink). The furniture was very basic, and the decor needs updating. The food was good, but we had such fond memories of our previous stay that we found it merely acceptable. The welcome was still quite good and pleasant. However, due to the problem with small insects in the room, we will not be returning to this establishment. It's sad to see this once beautiful hotel let itself go.

Back to the sixties, the style of hotels we frequented on the holiday route in the late 60s and early 70s. Of course, the comfort has been significantly improved compared to that time. Very good for cleanliness. Pleasant and friendly stopover. Half board with a simple but good meal and quality products.

Charming little hotel ideally located within walking distance of the city center. There's ample parking behind the hotel, a large dining terrace, and quality thermal and sound insulation in the rooms. The cleanliness and hospitality are exemplary, and the food is plentiful and delicious—a faultless experience for this highly recommended establishment.
Everything was fine. Unfortunately, there was no elevator, but we already knew that. Spacious room for 4. The tiny bathroom, especially the shower, was perfect for a gnome.

Our hostess was very kind and friendly. The meal was superb. We had a very comfortable room which had in it everything we needed.The other guests were also friendly.
Hotel closed before 5 p.m. Half board was offered and agreed upon by phone, but refused when we arrived at check-in. The quality of the meal was very average; one of the two menus offered was not available, and two dishes from the menu were also missing. Breakfast was poor quality and expensive.
We are 2 couples of friends who chose this hotel because there is a private parking and we had old vehicles that we did not want to leave in the street, this was satisfactory on the other hand, I had asked for 4 half-board, which seemed possible and the emails exchanged on the site. De BOOKING.COM confirmed it. We were therefore disappointed that this "small detail" was forgotten by the person managing the hotel because as I had organized this excursion, it put me at odds with my friends. In fact, we had no other alternative than to take dishes from the menu and a breakfast at 12.50 per person which was not extraordinary, which changes the price initially planned. We are not stingy but it is always unpleasant to have the impression of being "forced" I would like to point out that no apology or commercial gesture was made. We will therefore not return. I hope that it was just a human error of inattention but we will never know.

A la longue, les atouts d'un accueil de haute qualité professionnelle, les diffusers de perfume n'arriveront plus à cacher qu'on est logé dans un bâtiment au hygiene level des années avant-guerre. The relation quality-prix is not a malheureusement pas justifiée à ce level. C'est bien dommage - les gérants, surtout la gérante, ont le don pour l'hôtellerie !

SCANDALOUS! I book 1 room + half board + breakfasts. Unfortunately, I cannot come due to personal problems. So I call, days before. A young lady, very pleasant indeed, informed me that the withdrawal period had passed by a few hours and that she could not take responsibility for making a refund. Well, I can understand that. On the other hand, I ask him if meals and breakfasts will not be counted (that would really be a scam...). She tells me that there is no problem, and that the half board and breakfasts will of course not be collected. I cancel the reservation online, I leave a nice little note on the answering machine to tell them, if they want, to re-rent the room. days after BIM, taken in full! I call again the friendly young woman who promises to talk to her boss who is not there. No reminder from him, no refund. I call back and there, a wall. No consideration, a cash drawer aficionado. EVERYTHING must be paid for, breakfasts, meals, nothing will be refunded! Fortunately I didn't take half board per week! My advice: The Hotel des Alpes, much nicer, avoid the mentality of this sad sir. Another tip: If you book with him, don't take ANY extra: No breakfasts, no half board, NOTHING. There will always be time to do so when you arrive and at least you won't get ripped off if you don't come. Commerce, yes, tourist scams, no. To the wise....

Well located hotel with parking at the back. Clean, quiet room and comfortable bed. To change in this room the very kitsch toilet seat and the unsuitable shower head which sprays a mist of water instead of a normal jet.
