Despite the reception being closed on Sundays, the information regarding our arrival was clearly explained by telephone and on a poster in the stairwell. The room, located on the 2nd floor, therefore under the roof, was ventilated by a fan, but the heat remained unbearable during our 2 nights. We were assigned room 9, on the top floor. It's tiny, 3.5 x 3 meters, made even more inhospitable by the sloping ceiling. No chairs to put your things on. No kettle. No minibar. No air conditioning. Extremely slow, unusable Wi-Fi. Tiny closet. Air conditioning only through a Velux window. The bathroom is tiny, impossible to pee standing up, and the shower head is 1 meter high. Uncomfortable, poorly equipped, and oppressive. An accommodation like this shouldn't be sold. The only positive note is the courtesy of the receptionist.

This hotel is in a good location. It was clean and well maintained. The drinks were quite expensive as they are in all nearby establishments. The breakfast was certainly overpriced, €9 for a basic continental. Good parking availability across the road, make sure you have a blue disc before you arrive (tourist offices have them). Wi-Fi was very annoying, you have to reconnect every time you use it.

Room no. 8 on the 2nd floor under the roof, no elevator, a skylight facing the parking lot, 1 small window to the back, 2 beds (one wide, one normal) with good mattresses, almost no place to put anything down, no chair or anything like that. TV didn't work because the batteries in the remote control were empty (this was fixed after a call). The bathroom is very small and narrow, also because of the sloping roof. Toilet, sink, hair dryer, terribly narrow shower. The towels were only for one person, but we were given a second set on request. The location is very good, in the center, restaurants within walking distance. Large parking lot in front of the hotel with long-term and short-term spaces. We had a breakfast buffet, which was quite good, decent selection and a working egg cooker :-) The boss and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. However, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right for us. 112€ for 2 people without breakfast 0,90€ per person overnight tax 10€ for the small dog 6€ breakfast (12,50€ breakfast buffet)

We were looking for a hotel to stay on a wk. And I am delighted with this experience. We were very well received and the staff listened to us. Our room was very comfortable, spacious (there were 3 of us, my husband, my little boy and me) and very clean. The hotel is right in the center of Auray. You have to walk a little from the station but then you can do everything on foot: restaurants, visit to Saint Goustan, shops, Halles… we will come back with pleasure!
