We wade in the hotel for two nights! It wasn't cleaned, there was no coffee the next day. The food was miserable. Despite the great location, we can definitely not recommend this hotel!!!

A small hotel with a lovely outlook over the Chateau de Montsoreau and the Loire. Interesting dining room for breakfast cut into the rock
Traditional hotel of charm, ideally located behind the castle of Montsoreau with an impregnable view on this one and the Loire. Free parking, superb breakfast in a vaulted room, interior of the hotel in freestone and wood and a professional and friendly welcome, at the reception and in the breakfast room. We recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is remarkable. Exceptional view of the Château de Montsoreau and the Loire, quiet street, free private parking opposite the hotel. The building is also remarkable for its 17th century style and its troglodyte breakfast room. On the other hand, the splendid view offered by the window of bedroom 7 is earned by climbing to the first floor by a steep and narrow staircase. The bedroom with its twin beds offers every comfort. The bathroom, separate from the WC, lets you choose between a shower and a bathtub. Wifi is ok. There is a hot water and instant coffee kit. The only downside concerns the electrical equipment. I suffered from the lack of lighting in the office table. The sockets at the head of the bed are taken up with bedside lamps and we had to deploy our supply of multiple sockets to charge our phones. I had phoned the morning of our arrival to book the restaurant and had appreciated the cheerful and decisive tone of the lady who had answered me. At the end of the afternoon, the welcome from the receptionist was no more courteous and we had to insist that she agree to help hoist our suitcases up the steep staircase. The next morning, complete change. The morning team is extraordinarily kind and helpful. As I asked for the loan of a sponge to clean my windshield, one of the ladies of the team insisted on cleaning it herself. Many thanks to these ladies. Let's add that nothing was missing from the breakfast buffet, even the orange juice was fresh squeezed oranges..

Charming hotel in a beautiful old building, with a lovely location overlooking the Loire. The room was very well furnished and comfortable and the bathroom well appointed.
