I was very pleased with the warm welcome and friendliness of the lady of the house, and I was able to watch the Champions League matches on Canal+. There was a significant discrepancy between the price and the services offered by the hotel and restaurant. Having stayed in Logis de France hotels 70 nights a year, I've developed a certain expertise in this area, and this one is among the lowest I've encountered for its price. This is certainly one reason why there were only two of us staying at the hotel. This is the first time I've completed a satisfaction survey, but €105 for an overnight stay with this service is highway robbery; €85 would be a realistic price. In six years of staying at Logis de France hotels, I've never been served a green salad with a few raw vegetables, a pizza, or a chocolate fondant that I bought myself.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion, although we sincerely regret your comments, which we find very far removed from the actual course of your stay.
You mention a "significant discrepancy between the price and the service".
Our €105 overnight package includes a room, home-cooked dinner, and breakfast in a traditional, family-run 3-star Logis de France hotel . This price is perfectly in line with our rating and the current costs associated with fresh produce, energy, and maintenance for an establishment of this category.
You also state that there were only “two guests” in the hotel, whereas we had six rooms occupied that evening , which represents a perfectly normal level of activity for a Wednesday in November in the Vendée countryside .
Regarding the meal, you wrote that you received “a green salad, a pizza and a purchased fondant”.
We would like to point out that all the dishes are homemade : the salad came from the Vendée market, accompanied by homemade cauliflower pickles and the chef's vinaigrette; the "pizza" was actually an Italian Pinsa , a light dough made from wheat, rice and soy, prepared on site; and the chocolate fondant was also homemade, the chef loves world cuisines and we take your taste buds on a journey ;-))
You also seemed to fully enjoy your meal , having left nothing on your plates and having congratulated us on the spot, which we found very kind.
That's why your very negative comment surprises us all the more.
We are a family-run and authentic hotel, sincerely committed to quality, hospitality and the promotion of fresh and local products.
We regret that your written perception does not reflect the moment actually shared at the table.

Very old room and especially shabby bathroom with an old 75cm shower cubicle!!!! Hotel advertised with 3 ears of corn, is worth between 1 & 2 Catering really not worthy of a home!!! I book on average 130 nights in a hotel but this is the kind of hotel I try to avoid!!!!!!

We understand your frustration at not having had a double bed in your overnight stay package, given that it is specified on logis that the overnight stay being a definite financial advantage, provides rooms with double beds or twin beds depending on availability.
Our rooms are carefully decorated. It is true that some of our bathrooms have standard-sized showers.
However, they are carefully maintained and our customers regularly express their satisfaction with the cleanliness, the comfort of our mattresses, our home-cooked cuisine made from fresh, local produce, and the warm welcome we offer them.
We would like to remind you that our establishment is a 3-star Logis Hotel , an official distinction awarded by Atout France , guaranteeing a recognized level of comfort and services.
We understand that our authentic, family-run hotel may not be suitable for all traveler profiles.
Fortunately, the vast majority of our guests appreciate the friendly atmosphere and authenticity that our hotel is known for.

Good hotel, helpful staff and the possibility of having dinner in the evening, which is great when you are on a business trip.
Very good. Review the rear access to the hotel: the lock is not easily accessible due to the location of the door opening bar.

Very welcoming, attentive to needs, excellent food, quiet and easy to access. Friday evening it was Fish and Chips, I really enjoyed it, well done to the chef!! I recommend this place.

Overall very good, clean, the only downside in my eyes is the size of the shower which is really too small. Even diagonally in the cabin I had my 2 shoulders touching on each side. Otherwise the rest is really appreciable, I still recommend this hotel which is very well kept. Deserves 4.5 stars out of 5.

Charming hotel, very well located for visiting Vouvant or the Marais Poitevin. We received a very warm welcome. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Young buyers and entrepreneurs who deserve to be encouraged because they are full of goodwill, very friendly, and very welcoming. Unfortunately, there was a heating and hot water problem during my stay due to the dilapidated facilities, which consequently detracts from the overall impression. It will be great when they have undertaken the necessary restoration work, particularly energy renovations.
