The hotel is well-located and the entire staff is attentive to guests. Furthermore, the food served in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The chefs use only fresh ingredients. The new manager is also very approachable and attentive.

Comfortable and unsurprising stay. The rooms are simple but pleasant and bright.
We didn't have a remote control for the TV despite the quick response of the on-call service, who were unable to help us. The breakfast is generous, but the savory side is just ham, no fried or hard-boiled eggs. Otherwise, the establishment is clean and well located in relation to the city center.

Hello, we were quite disappointed with the hotel. The sheets weren't all clean, there weren't duvets in all the rooms, and there weren't duvet covers when they were present... and the wifi didn't work on the 4th floor.
Everything is perfect
Very cramped bathroom No shutter Stained sheet Problem with the door: impossible to close the lock (alignment problem). Lots of space between the door and the frame on the closing side, which results in enormous brightness due to the light in the hallway which stays on all night.
There were 10 of us staying for 2 nights. Two people didn't get a room for the first night. They had to share a room with other people in the group. My toilet bowl was black at the bottom. The shutter was difficult to open. Breakfast was 13 euros, a bit expensive for what there was.
Hygiene needs to be reviewed - lack of rigor in the control of cleaning in the rooms
Had the best experience here, we were in such a predicament with our animals and they made everything ok and went above and beyond
The rooms are really too small, the toilets are barely usable. We have the door on our knees. The elevator is also ridiculously small and narrow. The hotel is generally air-conditioned, the temperature is decided by the owner, impossible to lower, it had to be turned off completely.
The mattress is uncomfortable and gives me back pain. The breakfast buffet is good, but for a euro more in a hotel in another city, everything was homemade and there was less variety. The comparison is disappointing. The staff is friendly.
1. The room did not have a remote control for the air conditioner, and the reception staff confirmed that none was available.
2. The bedding was dirty and even had visible bloodstains.
3. The bathroom exhaust fan was covered in thick dust, and when switched on, it blew dust into the room. Since the bathroom light and fan share the same switch, I had no choice but to use a dusty, unpleasant fan whenever I needed the light.
4. The location is good.
5. WiFi signals is very poor.
Overall, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in during the past five years.
The team took great care of me, I had an "all inclusive" reservation, i.e. dinner/overnight stay and breakfast. The unexpected was a welcome cocktail at dinner, very clean and comfortable room, very welcoming and charming staff. The restaurant menu has changed compared to last year, the chef too, and the galettes and crepes have replaced the Bouchot mussels! But it's still very pleasant.

Temperature was very hot and air con didn’t work. One member of staff running bar, restaurant service and front desk which meant service was slow. Cigarette butts on the balcony. Beds were made once but not changed in 3 nights nor were towels. Wrong food and drinks brought to us each time. Glasses were chipped and when we informed the member of staff there was no apology despite being a hazard
Unacceptable room, unprepared staff
Do not pay for your breakfast. No cheese, flesh or eggs. Just some marmelade. €13 pppd !!!
After cancelling breakfast for the rest of our stay, I didn't receive a reimbursement. No one had the authority to do so....
Elevator only fits one person and a small bag.
We had an overall satisfactory stay at the 2-star La Marinière hotel. Its main asset is undoubtedly its location: ideally located near the train station, bus stops, as well as numerous shops and restaurants, which was the main reason for our choice. The size of the room, bathroom, and bedding are also appreciable features. However, certain elements affected our comfort. The soundproofing of the rooms is insufficient: the walls seem very thin, which compromises peace and privacy. Another negative point was that the heat pump (which also serves as air conditioning) installed in the room was not usable, which was annoying when we were hot. Furthermore, we noticed condensation on the unit, which we found unfortunate, as we couldn't turn it on. Despite this, we still slept well, thanks in particular to the quality of the bedding. The presence of the television and reliable Wi-Fi also contributed to making our stay more pleasant.
Poor shower drain and empty soap container. Non-adjustable air conditioning stuck at 20 degrees, the outside temperature: therefore useless and energy-consuming. At breakfast: industrial croissant and waiter tuned to NRJ radio not really muted. So: accumulation of small inconveniences but good reception.

I booked this hotel for my daughter (10 years old) and I on the 27th May. Our booking was for last night (7th July).
We arrived late, around 10pm because our ferry from Guernsey was very late. When we arrived at the hotel it was closed. I called the emergency number but no one answer and went straight to voicemail so wasn’t very emergency oriented.
With the help from a man from the local restaurant I managed to book a different hotel for the night.
It was horrible as my daughter started to get very worried.
I would like to have my money back for the terrible inconvenience
We received a very warm welcome from the hostess. The bedding was excellent.
Defective bedroom shutter, broken tab. I stayed there for 2 days, and no one came into the room, not even to empty the trash or remake the bed.
Warned 1 hour before that there would be no catering and no one at reception, I was forced to stay at this hotel. The comfort is very very poor for business people. Uncomfortable to work on your computer. It is unacceptable how this was brought up!!! False advertising on the website when booking.
Just like home...or almost.
Near the railwaystation was importantly for us. We were well met at the reseption and the room was nice and tidy. The only drawback was a tiny, little WC. That was uncomfortable when your partner is ca 2 m high. Nice french breakfast, but the restaurant was closed Sunday evening, so did not experience that.

Great welcome and attentive staff
When I arrived the first day in the room it must have been between 13 and 15°. I went to reception to ask them if it could be increased they did it the air conditioning display put 22 but it only suffered from cold air. When I woke up nothing more second day no heating when I arrived they activated it but still the same it blew cold air
Good hotel, well located The staff is very friendly Be careful to put enough shower gel for the two nights, because I did not have enough and the room despite the sign to do it was not made For breakfast it is a pity that there was no savory otherwise very good
No bath towels so had to use hand towels for shower, also the toilet is so small room 2 that if you sat on the toilet you could hardly close the door so had to use the toilet when my Wife was in the bathroom
