An excellent evening stopover
An excellent few days in a comfortable hotel with good food served in dining room with an open fire - what's not to like?

This hotel is lovely, rooms tidy and accessible. Despite the sign you may unload your cases from the car in the courtyard before parking in car park across the road. The food was good and the menu laid out well. It's a very quiet and peaceful place, though you would need to follow a map or GPS utility to find it.

Great place and facilities. Nice people. Some observations: (1) We recommend to remove the 'red smiley' paper regarding arrival times for breakfast from the door of the building as this did not feel guest friendly.to us. (2) Second dinner was served at a 'rush' pace, which did not feel relaxed.

On the whole very happy with the hotel. Lovely setting, friendly helpful staff, good dinner and comfortable bed. The only negative was that the breakfast, although good, was greatly overpriced.
We had a very brief but welcoming stay. We sadly arrived late so missed dinner and had to leave early for our onward journey. Our welcome was very friendly, the room and location were beautiful, and we were impressed enough Im already wondering if we can stay again with more time!

A pearl of residence. In nature, calm and beautiful buildings and garden. Very good and warm welcome. A restaurant to say 'you' to. Very high quality dinner served with care. To lick your fingers. Booked a room for myself and partner. The room had an unpleasant peculiar smell, it was a warm summer day so we thought the room just needed a little airing but even after several hours the smell didn't clear. We then discovered the room was infested with bedbugs crawling on the bed and throughout the carpet. We insisted on being moved to a different room, thankfully we only booked for one night. Hotel's explanation was that the bugs were due to the weather and offered a €10.00 discount!. This is odd as the alternative room was clean of bugs and no unpleasant smell.

Heartwarming welcome. Cozy standard room well decorated but small (enough for a stopover). Full breakfast, if what you want is not present do not hesitate to ask. For the evening meal, limited choice, cold room, too bad altercation with customers wanting to eat with their dog. But who was right?? In conclusion good food, but way too expensive.

As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed, in the evening we had dinner by the fireplace, a very good meal, the night went very well followed by the hearty breakfast. An address that we will keep and that we share with confidence.

Staff very helpful. Room great,very comfortable and lovely. Dinner in restaurant very disappointing. Have eaten here before and it was very good which is why we came back at the end of our holiday. We felt it was overpriced and not cooked very well. Flavours were unbalanced and unremarkable,meat dry with fat attached. Unfortunately we will not be staying again. Can’t comment on breakfast we didn’t have it.

superb setting, high quality welcome. paradoxically, given the "top-of-the-range" positioning of all the services, the room, although well equipped, seems a bit cramped.
Excellent hotel
We were disappointed with the quality of service in the restaurant. A tablecloth or even paper placemats would have been appreciated. As well as the waiter's suit, stained and wrinkled, denotes a Bib restaurant. Clean jeans and a white shirt would have been fine. The breakfast would benefit with a better quality tea and gluten-free cereals or bread. The room is fine but a broken trash can and a neater window blackout would have been perfect.

A long time wasted looking for the lost room key on arrival. Decoration of odds and ends. Does not correspond to the expected standard. The price is not justified by the location of the hotel or by the services or its comfort. A skylight is impossible to conceal in the bedroom, you will be awakened by daylight. What are these boards doing in a corner? What is the (empty) mini-bar fridge doing in the bathroom? Price of breakfast exorbitant compared to the service. All of this lacks professionalism.
