Very good bedding, 2 towels for the bathroom even though there were 5 of us. The floor of the room is peeling off everywhere, the linen didn't smell good!! For 165 euros per night it's expensive!!

Very friendly team and very good service in the restaurant. Bright, comfortable room. I always enjoyed the delicious dinner in the restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces, and the garage is sometimes cleared for the motorbike.

Fabulous, sincere welcome, we feel “at home” “with family” without manners, without fuss, the values are there and will not change. It's all the old-fashioned charm of life in the mountains, time stands still and it feels great. The quality of local products absolutely no longer needs to be proven, provided that the years don't change anything!

Great authentic and very pretty hotel/farmhouse. Away from the village in a beautiful green area. Very easy and really fast access from Villard (only a few minutes) by car. A super top owner and team, very welcoming, warm and attentive to make your stay as good as possible. Very good meal and breakfast too, I really appreciated being able to have local and homemade products at the table. Spacious, bright and comfortable room. A big thank you to you ! Weekend for a group of 15 people where everything was perfect: the rooms, the meal, the breakfast. But what was really appreciated by all of us was the hospitality, availability, flexibility and kindness of the hoteliers. Thanks to them.
I spent a wonderful week in this hotel just outside Villard-de-Lans!! From the warm welcome to the cozy room, the good breakfast, to the delicious, regional and varied dinner. There were also great tips for hikes, all of which I could start right outside the hotel door. I felt good all around. Many thanks to the team of the Ferme du Bois Barbu!! It won't be my last stay there, there is still so much to discover in this fascinating landscape.
