The hotel is absolutely not soundproofed. It feels like you're sharing a room with your neighbors. You can hear everything! My neighbor took a shower at 4:30 in the morning. From then on, there was so much noise that I couldn't sleep. For a room costing €250 a night, this is unacceptable!
I was lucky enough to have a room with a terrace, which was very pleasant when the sun was shining and allowed for more space.
Small but comfortable hotel. It meets all expectations. The reception staff, cleanliness, and, of course, the location are outstanding. The pillows (very soft) and the complimentary coffee (only on the first day, and no tea or herbal infusions despite having a kettle) could be improved.
Buena ubicación, excelente servicio! Es muy recomendable!
Sadly I couldn’t make my Paris trip as my son 5 years old was very ill. The team was rude via WhatsApp and told me they can’t help me! Agree I don’t want my money back but I expect some manners or something
Clean and quiet room
Perfect, the staff were very kind
Excellent service in a very quiet and well-located environment
The room was old-fashioned and small, with average cleanliness and a broken coffee maker, but the neighborhood was pleasant.
The only downside: The carpet looks dirty and worn!
The stay was good, we were only in the hotel to sleep. Very nice bed, extra pillows in the closet. The breakfast was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. But is was disapointing. The room is cold, the toaster didn’t work, the boiler for eggs really old and you have to boil the water from scratch. Why not turn it on and let the water semi boil so it will be easy to boil eggs? Or get a new smaller that boils egg almost without water and with a timer. And cheap as well.
The coffee mashine needs an upgrade. It takes too long to make a deacent cup of coffee. And the sausages and scrambled eggs are not kept warm enough.
The "garden" is very small and un-interesting. There is nothing appealing about it
YOU CAN DO BETTER!
Very well located. Clean, good bedding. Basic but sufficient breakfast.
Excellent welcome and service
Close to metro station, clean and comfortable room. Impeccable welcome and service.
Very welcoming staff. English and French spoken.
The breakfast could be improved. The rooms need to be redecorated
Reception staff is not friendly
Very welcoming, quiet, spacious room
Merci d avoir respecter mes souhaits d une chambre au calme et de votre gentillesse .
Hubert
Changing the pillows and being mindful of the noise from the extractor fan, the bathroom, and the radiator would ensure a perfect night's sleep. Thank you.
When we made the reservation, it said "Private Sauna," but when we arrived at the hotel, we were told the sauna was under maintenance. The price we paid included the sauna, but we couldn't use the service; it was very disappointing!
Friendliness, kindness, and hospitality. A half-hour walk from everything.
I felt super-comfortable and at home in this small,m welcoming hotel. Really what made staying at Jardin de Villiers excellent was the staff - each and every one I spoke with were charming, polite, and went out of their way to be super-helpful with my several requests. Would definitely stay again.
Unlike last year, our stay got off to a bad start. I had booked two rooms; in one, the bedside lamp was broken, without a bulb, and the wires were exposed, while in the other, the cleaning was subpar. The receptionist offered us a bottle of wine as compensation. Breakfast wasn't great either; the milk warmer wasn't working, and the omelet and sausages were cold. In short, disappointing.
Quiet hotel in a great location. Shops and restaurants nearby.
I love the 17th arrondissement and I am very happy that I found a hotel that I like. The people are very friedly. All small attentions: macaronnes and water in the room. A very nice breakfast the first day. Good beds. It was a comfertable stay. I will return to this hotel for sure!!
Clean and welcoming hotel. Dedicated staff. Very well located in a lively area with good public transport links.
I booked a 4-hour coworking session. Upon arrival, I was simply shown to the room with a gesture—it was actually the breakfast room, so already not exactly conducive to working. No facilities, no assistance. The room was dark: no lights on, I had to find them myself. The tables were dirty, the chairs covered in crumbs, and the dishwashing area was running right next door. I was politely told I had “everything I needed,” but I struggled to find even a bottle of water. I had to ask at reception again, as there were no glasses or hand towels, and the machines were off. On top of that, it was raining that day, and drops were coming through the glass roof. After an hour, the Wi-Fi stopped working. In short, the conditions were far from ideal for working, and the comfort level was minimal. The staff, for their part, remained focused on the Wi-Fi problem, showing little concern for the customers. The only positive point: the price — but one quickly understands why.
Very good location, too many choise for a good breakfast, clean rooms, very sympathetic and helper staff
Very friendly and kind stuff! The room was very small for its price but it had a very comfortable bed and it was in a nice neighborhood.
room a bit cramped and above all the welcome words in a barbaric language, in ENGLISH, it's horrible
A point to note at breakfast: no more orange juice or knives available, and no one to clear the tables / I must have been on the wrong schedule.
I have been coming to this hotel for over a year now, and it is always top notch with friendly staff who are attentive to customers. Thanks to Julie for her smile, her availability and her Kindness. Thanks to all the teams, the rooms are very clean, I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel clean and welcoming, with friendly, helpful staff. We were not sure about the geography before we got there, but there were lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby and we could walk to the river or Montmartre, or get metro from St Lazare.
Very warm welcome, well-located hotel. Breakfast is excellent, all-you-can-eat buffet.
Small, charming hotel in a very good location. Quality renovation.
A soulless hotel that's quickly forgotten. Luckily, Marzia has a smile at the front desk!
Discreet and attentive welcome. This quiet hotel offers quick access to the capital's iconic landmarks.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unfortunately. Room was too hot with window closed but the days we stayed you could hear the music and karaoke very loudly from the bar on the corner as we were in a room facing the street. Although the hotel was advertised to have air conditioning we were told by reception that it could not be put on a cold setting as for people in Paris this weather was already cold and there was nothing they could do. We asked for a fan or a change to a room which would be more quiet to enable us to open the window but this was refused also due to it being a different type of room. The comfort of the guest was not a priority. Additionally our shower leaked due to poor seal of the panel so the floor was sopping wet and needed several towels to mop it up every time. You have to give your key to reception every time you leave also which wasn’t too bad as reception is 24 hour but we still ended up waiting on a couple of occasions for our key if other people were at the desk. It was pretty clean and overall budget friendly but I still wouldn’t stay here again.
Friendly and pleasant staff. There's room for improvement in hygiene: hair on the bathtub and the shelf above the toilet. Dust on the coffee pod tray and on the coffee maker's water reservoir. The reservoir is full: how long has this water been there?
Unbeatable value for money in Paris Quiet area, cozy and peaceful hotel Quality bedding Simple and neat decor Friendly welcome
We found the room allocated to us to be dirty and unclean (walls covered in thick dust).
Requests made of the staff were not followed through by them.
We stayed for our honeymoon. The welcome was efficient. The room was small but adequate, and the bathroom was comfortable with a large shower. A very important thing for us Italians was the Nespresso machine in the room, which made waking up fantastic. Everything was extremely clean. We only had breakfast at the hotel once: it was good, perhaps a bit pricey (14 euros). The hotel is close to a market, a small supermarket, and pastry shops and cafes. It's a 5-minute walk from the subway. We'll definitely be back.
Very warm welcome, the staff is really very kind. The bedding is comfortable, the room is clean. The breakfast is fresh and varied. We were really satisfied with our stay.
Decent hotel but expensive for the quality of services. Super small, luckily I didn't have breakfast because 14€ for a space of 9m2, it's definitely not worth it. You can hear everything that's going on: if a guest in the next room dries their hair you can hear, if they shower you can hear... it's not quiet at all. The shower door isn't watertight; I spent more time cleaning and wiping the water than taking my shower.
Lovely little hotel in a quieter part of Paris, if there is such a thing! The streets around the hotel had great amenities - bakeries, brasseries and even a pharmacy! Super close to bus and metro stops. Perfect for a few days.
Happy with the stay. Well located hotel and nicely maintained given the size.
The sheets did not smell fresh but this was eventually amended.
Some dust in the bathroom and a lack of space to place bathroom utensils.
Had a room on the main floor looking out onto the street. Room very warm and stuffy, but thankfully the AC helped a lot. Bathroom was clean but the toilet was a bit small and positioned too close to the wall, making it a bit uncomfortable even for fairly small/average-sized people. The sauna was the absolute highlight of the hotel: we loved it. Breakfast was fine.

View the hotel's answerVery nice hotel with a perfect Parisienne location. Close to the tube and surrounding area has lovely shops and restaurants
View the hotel's answerIntimate hotel, high quality of welcome and professionalism, extremely friendly staff, very pleasant to be in a hotel where human relations count far from the large impersonal chains, the interior courtyard a real plus!
Very calm, convenient area. The staff is very welcoming. The room is a little dark but comfortable and quiet. The fitness room is basic, but OK. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the farmer's yogurt and the bread and marmelade. Disappointed with the croissants, though (could have been more crusty).
View the hotel's answerBeautiful hotel located on a quiet street and in a very pleasant area!
Bel hôtel bien tenu et à taille humaine. Au calme en juillet et en août. Très bonne literie. Très belle chambre. Belle salle de bain. Sauna 1 heure par séjour. Salle de fitness. Personnel accueillant et souriant. Au service des voyageurs. Pas loin du très beau parc Monceau. Plein de commerces aux alentours.

View the hotel's answerUnfortunately, the welcome is cold. Communication is basic, and there's absolutely no empathy. The only person who is friendly and welcoming is the Tunisian cleaning lady (the housekeeper): truly invaluable! I caught a serious cold from the air conditioning in my room, which I didn't know how to adjust. No one comes to your room to explain it, and if you ask at reception, it's just a few words thrown out with difficulty and no empathy. I don't want to cause problems for your staff, but I had to mention it. The rest of the staff is truly of a good standard, and the cleanliness is excellent. Thank you.
Room corresponding to the description. On the other hand, breakfast was a little limited with the best before date largely exceeded and the cold chain was not respected with yogurts that had gone bad. Too bad.
A small, clean hotel (the cleaning lady is very clean and lovely), well-located, and surprisingly quiet. Comfortable, although the room isn't very large (but that's typical in Paris, and it's relatively "spacious" compared to other hotels in the same category in central Paris). It has everything you could need, and we appreciated: - efficient individual air conditioning/heating, - a safe, - a nice stool for our suitcase (in addition to the chair and desk), - a power outlet near the bed (two would have been ideal, one for each person, on either side of the bed), - a hairdryer in the bathroom, - a large bathtub (in a spacious and bright bathroom with a large opening window), - a proper, reasonably sized wardrobe (with extra blankets and pillows...without having to ask for them), - opening windows for ventilation (which isn't always the case!). One in the bedroom and one in the bathroom (that's not always the case either!) overlooking a courtyard (for my room) of divine tranquility. - A small bottle of mineral water, a very welcome little extra. Everything would be perfect if there were a mini-fridge (especially since there seems to be a space for one under the side of the desk!) and a sink faucet better suited to the basin, as the current faucet is too short, too close to the edge of the sink, and the water flows forcefully and overflows onto the vanity and then the floor. When using it, you have to wrap a large towel around the sink if you don't want to mop up the water on the vanity and floor every time. It's a shame because the bathroom is otherwise quite spacious and so pleasant! One last little tip for improvement to reach perfection 😉😄: the soap and shower gel dispensers aren't very practical; they require both hands to use, which isn't always convenient. Push-button dispensers would be much more practical. Also, the carpet is lovely and saves you from scrubbing, but we all know it's not very hygienic. 😏 That said, we were very satisfied with our stay at your hotel, and these points are simply suggestions to help you improve your guests' satisfaction and well-being regarding functional details that you, as designers and not users, might have overlooked (occupational hazard, since I'm a travel agent 😉😆). We were delighted with our stay at your hotel, where we hope to return, and it's precisely because it's so close to perfection that I'm offering these few suggestions to help you reach it! 😉😄 Well done, keep up the good work, and we look forward to staying at Jardin de Villiers again...perhaps with a few of your suggested improvements taken into account? 😉
Excellent hotel, good and plentiful breakfast. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
Breakfast a bit expensive
Very good stay at the Jardin de Villiers hotel! Quiet hotel and clean room! A little disappointed at breakfast regarding the quality of the products... I still recommend it!
Good area very safe nice breakfast evererything what you need.
A bit remote, breakfast basic.
Main point of improvement: breakfast. For this price I expected higher quality and divwraity: freshness of petits pains (some were from day before), coffee machine (required cleaning + taste), fresh fruit (was from can) and more diversity of bread (now only white baguette).
Very pleasant hotel on a quiet street. Modern and neat room. Warm and helpful welcome both on site and by phone when booking and before our arrival. Breakfast was decent with the choice offered at the buffet. Small downside regarding the price of this option which seems a bit high but not prohibitive. Overall very satisfactory.
Welcome and service, very professional, The staff is very pleasant both at reception and at breakfast, Very opulent and clean hotel, except that it lacks a few shade flowers that would brighten up the terrace. Blinds for the bathroom windows and a small table.
Staff could improve their manners. We were welcomed by a receptionist who was more interested in talking on his phone than welcoming us to the hotel. This was the night shift.
The lack of noise in the hotel is very much appreciated. The veranda is lovely for breakfast, as it's very bright. The tree-lined courtyard isn't very large, but it offers a peaceful place to get some fresh air, away from the city noise – a real plus in Paris! The bedding is excellent. It's a shame that the dishes are washed in the veranda during breakfast, as it's noisy.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, close to a lovely market and several restaurants. It's between two metro stops, 10 minutes from line 14, which also connects to Orly Airport, and 5 minutes from Villiers station on line 2. The rooms aren't very large, but they're comfortable and, most importantly, clean. The staff was professional and friendly. Marzia, in particular, always gave us good advice and was attentive to our needs. Check-in was quick and easy; having already sent our documents before arrival, there weren't many formalities to complete, except for paying the tourist tax. The only drawbacks are the lack of bathroom amenities and the lack of a refrigerator in our room, although there was one available for our belongings in the breakfast room. We're very satisfied, and we hope to see you again soon.
Nice, friendly staff. Comfortable room. Bathroom: a bit more space to leave toiletteries would be even nicer.
The perfect hotel for a short stay in Paris
Very good for the money - clean , friendly and safe and great staff
Beautiful, quiet hotel on a small street in the 17th arrondissement.
We enjoy the area, and the people at the hotel are nice.
It is a well situated in Villiers which is very lively with lots of cafes, bars.restaurants, shops Inc food outlets and vegetable stalls. Good Metro service and WiFi in hitel
Great small hotel, great location - very safe! Airco was great, beds were great. Perfect!
I was assigned a room off of the lobby, Room 6. The pipe noise through the walls and other unidentifiable ambient noises from above awakened me throughout the night. The hotel is cute and the staff was nice but if you cannot sleep restfully with ear plugs, in my opinion, a hotel fails to provide its most basic function.
Very kind and welcoming staff, a downside for the rather basic breakfast which is not up to the rest, I benefited from a Wonderbox gift and I would have appreciated not being put on the ground floor even if the situation was not noisy especially since unless I am mistaken the hotel did not seem full
Great check in and Check out!
Having 24 front desk service was very helpful and made me feel safe and secure.
Alright
Only one night but slept very good, pillows and bed very comfy
Alright
Personnel accueillant, attentionné et bienvaillant a permis de rendre notre séjour plus qu'agréable!
Very nice, clean hotel in a beautiful part of town.
Really easy to find, quiet road but very close to food, drinks and markets. Métro about 7 minutes away walking
Well located hotel on a quiet street. Pleasant and clean room. Perfect bedding. Bathroom not functional, impossible to put your things next to the sink. The breakfast is not at all up to the standard of a 3 star hotel and the price, pastries not fresh, pancakes from supermarkets, industrial sandwich bread, while breads of different varieties from a baker would have been better. Baguette where everyone takes with their hands to cut a piece (a clean cloth would have been good to avoid touching the bread). This is a shame especially since in the comments of customers have already complained (this is not taken into account as said in response), and I had taken the trouble to ask you by phone if this was indeed the case, I was told that everything was fresh. Otherwise the room and the small garden are very pleasant. This is the only negative point which is really a shame. The staff is very pleasant, nothing to say.
Very friendly staff, excellent reception, helpful with questions, pleasant atmosphere, clean and tidy rooms.
Good hotel, very clean, quiet area, close to the metro station. Very good price for Paris. Definitely half of my next trip too
When the night porter gave us the key, he went back to the couch in the lobby, put his feet up on the table, and continued his private conversation on his smartphone. That's very rude. At breakfast, all the cheese and ham were dried out. Only when I complained to the receptionist was the dried stuff thrown away and fresh ham and new cheese put out. The coffee machine also took a long time to refill; it was left open, and the coffee beans needed to be refilled. But the employee first had a long private conversation with the receptionist. As a result, we guests had to wait.
Quiet, relaxing room with no outside noise, very comfortable bedding, very functional bathroom and charming welcome.
Nice hotel in a calm street, and lovely people working there.
Good breakfast, and clean rooms.
Very pleasant stay!
Very pleasant staff but the room price is too expensive and it is not well maintained.
As a first impact, then confirmed with the stay, the professionalism and availability of all the staff. Clean, welcoming and quiet at night. Abundant and varied breakfast for all tastes, in addition to a coffee machine with pods in the room. The location is ideal for the metro, trains and buses, within walking distance and for all the necessary services, such as restaurants, supermarkets.
Pleasant neighborhood, close to the beautiful Parc Monceau and the Villiers and Malesherbes stations. Friendly and available staff if needed. Thank you.
A very nice hotel and area! Sweet personal and all very welcoming.
Everything was super except that the bathroom was a bit small, and the room was not 100% clean at arrival. Otherwise a very good experince and would likely visit again :-)
Although their website stated they spoke Spanish, the truth is, they didn't. Breakfast was the worst part of the stay. It was sparse, lacking quality and variety. The rooms were noisy and poorly lit. The best things were the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff.
Very good location. Very friendly, especially at breakfast. The price was affordable compared to similar hotels in Paris. The only negative was that at night in our room there was a noise that made you sleep hard if you listened to it, but it was faint. The rooms are small.
Excellent option. The reason of my trip was the Paris Marathon and that day the Hotel has a special time for the Breakfast, they begin at 5 am. That’s was great I didn’t expect that, and around the hotel are really good restaurants. Well located on a quiet area, you are close to tourist attractions but at the same time you are away from the touristic atmosphere, for that reason you don’t have to wait or pay overprices on the great restaurants around the hotel.
High-quality reception both in the evening and during the day. Pleasant and quiet room. An 11 a.m. checkout is restrictive. Noon is more comfortable for a business trip.
