Good hotel, well located, good value for money
Mixed stay. Smiling welcome but my name does not appear on the list. Quiet room, as hoped in my request, thank you. Very comfortable 160 cm bed with a pleasant little balcony at the back, old-fashioned but acceptable bathroom. Quiet night when everything is back in order (partitions could be improved). Dinner: huge wait. Disorganized. Only 4 paper menus, you have to wait your turn. The wine details are already described in the room by means of a plate that cannot be found at the table (glass, price, etc.). The "piece of beef" dish does not include goat cheese as described. We left after the main course, a little disgusted, without dessert. The dishes offered outside do not appear in the evening's (starter and main courses). A meal at 8 p.m., a little late with children. Lots of small irritating mistakes that spoil a stay that should be pleasant. We like Logis Hotels but were disappointed. Breakfast TB. Some good points here and there, but the hotel appears to be in its infancy.

A completely disappointing stay – the only positives were the central location and the dinner.
The dinner staff didn’t speak a single word of English, which led to major communication issues. We asked for a glass of red wine and were instead served a 0.5-liter bottle for €18 without any clarification.
The room was much smaller than shown in the pictures on booking.com and did not match the advertised description.
The balcony was unusable – no proper flooring, no furniture, completely unsuitable for use.
The bathroom had missing floor tiles, and there was visible mold in the shower – absolutely unacceptable.
Breakfast was a letdown: bad coffee, one rock-hard piece of bread, and two unidentifiable pastries without any labeling or description.
Additionally, there were constantly around 30 flies in the breakfast area – many of them directly on the buffet. The staff member on duty showed no concern at all.

Our stay at Logis Hôtel Restaurant Espelletenia was truly exceptional. After a long walk, we were kindly allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated. The room was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and had one of the best views we’ve ever seen — right from our balcony.
Everything we needed was provided, both in the room and the bathroom. Lunch was absolutely outstanding — the best we’ve had — and dinner was just as memorable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day!
This accommodation is very good value for money. The room was pleasant and all the interactions from the reception until the departure were very courteous and friendly. A big thank you to everyone for your trust (you get my drift😀)

Great hotel in the Basque Country. From the moment you arrive, you feel at home. The Basque atmosphere is there. Music, attire, cuisine, decor... it's all there. The room was perfect with excellent bedding. I really liked the decor. The food is delicious and original. The breakfast was perfect. Thank you to the young owners for this lovely, but all too short, stay. All the best to them.

Great welcome. The hotel and rooms are clean and air-conditioned. The restaurant is also very good. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's great inside.
We did not had the wright income,there were many people outside where we came in. Just had one parking place but we did not know the entrance. It was busy, check in was not very friendly maybe because they had it to busy with the people . It was an evenement in the hotel, Baskisch musique. A lot of people. The room was ok bathroom omd and toilet also. But the matrass of the bed was nog good , pillow also no good. And there were many flies in the room. We killed a lot. There was a light in the room...in the night when you to toilet it went on but it was to much light, i woke up when my husband went to toilet. We heared noise in the room from our neighbours. And when the window was open the music from the evenement and also people fron evenement standing putside talking. Breakfast...was not much , there were many flies. Very nice lady at breakfast she told...because the bread was empty, if we would something..tell here. I asked brown and white bread but it wa not much and just one withe peace. Not so good taste. Very little products at breakfast. Other people maybe ate already the other bread? Flies were irritating.
The only thing and was really really nice food..muffins with soms nuts. That receipe i would like to have! We went already in many hotels but this was not like a saw online and was not good for sleep and breakfast on another hotel is better . The lady at morning was very friendly also by paying. I did not toled her from everything. I do not kwow if it made some sense. The way from where restaurant is to the room ...our neighbours just went up and down with theit boots, it was a little stairs next to the bar to went up.
It was a beautiful environment and balcony also but room, flies, bed,, bathroom, noise neighbours...pfff..no. We tought we find our hotel for the future necause we go from now more to spain but this is not our hotel to come back.

I only stayed one night But very clean, simple, quiet room (enough to spend only a few hours there. The evening meal is varied and of good quality with local products. Extremely courteous staff, especially at the evening meal 20/20
Very friendly and always concerned about making sure we were comfortable at the hotel. They gave us directions on what to see and if we had any cultural questions, they kindly explained everything to us. The guy speaks Spanish and my friends appreciated it since they didn't speak French. The town is very quiet without many services, a pharmacy and a bakery, if you are looking for tranquility this is the place!

We are delighted with our stay in this small hotel, located in a magnificent setting. We were very well received upon our arrival, and appreciated the quality of our room. Everything is very clean, it smells good, the bedding is of quality and the decor very neat. It is white, it is fresh. We had chosen this establishment which allowed us to rest on 2 days of travel. We slept very well there, there is something to make a small coffee or tea in the room. There is a TV... a hair dryer... shower gel, towels... everything is there. We loved the breakfast consisting of delicious lemon cake and good fresh bread. We want to go back so much it was good. I recommend +++ value for money nothing to say

Room was old and dated despite the website saying it had been renovated. Says there is a restaurant but food was set meal and outside catering. Had to leave without having breakfast because despite asking, and reassurances provided, there was no butter so all was dry and therefore inedible.
All the charm and poetry of the Basque country. A moment out of time where I was able to suspend time. The evening meal as a stopover dinner is very good, simple, efficient. Taste the Basque beer and Irouleguy of friends. Gourmand. And what about the PDJ, only products from a friend's farm no doubt. Giant on the camino. Thank you for everything.

Totally uncompliant and free to use. Ausgezeichnetes Abendessen and Frühstück, sehr aufmerksames und fröhliches Personal. Das Zimmer war groß, blitzblank und sehr gemütlich. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!
I stopped here as a pelgrim because the gîtes were all booked. But I enjoyed my stay. It was clean and perfect for a more comfortable night on the Chemin. Not too fancy, but everything you need. I would recommend on this part of the route!
